There were *seemingly homeless and drunk people on the bridge when I arrived with my daughter. That wasnt cool and I dont know if that is a regular thing. On the other hand, they had a really cute butterfly bench perfect for photo ops with my little one. A toss up
Great city park, with lots of history, nice place to sit and watch the water pass in the mild mannered Creek that runs through.
Its a nice park and probably my favorite in downtown Columbia. It also connects straight to the MKT trail which is a great place for biking or walking.
Nice downtown park. Safe in daylight hours. Park hours not posted but not 24/7 as currently listed. Could be listed announces Bear creek trailhead. Park parking restrictions (photo) make this an undesirable point.-No Amenities-(water fountain with dog dish)-Very very nice kids play fountain -So-so prefab play area (slide, no swing)One of best downtown parks anyplace.Minus one star over parking (others may feel this is short of a best park too/other reasons)Occasionally will spot a homeless refugee. Still safe day areas. Best to park in a grocery lot catacorner of park (Hardees restaurant currently visible Providence blvd). (also Photod 24May2018- sign missing 2 of 3 letters; I can recall others noting missing letters in past....)
Nice parking and trail access.
One of my absolute favorite parks ever.
Nature in the heart of the city. Beautiful walking/biking path runs from downtown to Scott Blvd & beyond.
Its a neat little park in the right on the outskirts of downtown. A little water park, playground, bridge to bicycle or walk under, and rock scenery on both sides of a creek running thru the middle of it all. I think Im gonna head their later today and explore it a little further after writing about it. I like your style Columbia, Missouri!
Best gazebos for the homeless in all of mid mo. Grab a corona and head on down to graffiti beach, enjoy the murals commissioned by the city. Oh, and don’t forget to bring a towel. This park doubles as a pool after a rain.
I come here to meditate
Nice downtown park but the creek seems dirty and the park seems taken over by people living there. Doesnt feel completely safe. I ride my bike to downtown and as I pass through, I see people on the benches, some passed out from what appears to be drug or alcohol abuse. Its not a family park. On the bright side, they do have some nice events at this park and the area has been modernized.
Its peaceful and not very crowded great place for a nature walk.
Very cute. Not too crowded. Kids loved it.
Splash pad and playground and a great place to walk. Beware of bicycles.
Great place for the little ones to play and splash around!
Quiet little park with a creek, walking/biking trail going through it, playground for kids and a gorgeous small suspension bridge.
Cute little park with a sprayground and right near the trail!
Only went through to play Pokemon but the park was very pretty
Nice park clean not many undesirable types
Seems like a perfectly good spot to eat Taco Bell at
Had a great time with the kids.
Love the tiny suspension bridge!
Beautiful park
One of my favorite trails!! Saw deer this morning!
Quiet and clean for where its located
Good park, questionable homeless activity.
Green space iz krucial
Great trail.
Bike trails link to Katy trail!
Food is great and the service is decent. The atmosphere is the best part and the beer. There is always a 15-30 minute wait, however.
Nice place to .
Great place to bike ride!!!
Excellent access to the mkt trail.
Nice park, but a lot of homeless begging
Fun clean splash pad in the middle of downtime with a small playground next door. Easy parking. Runs right next to a small stream, though there are signs saying it has unhealthy levels of bacteria. The flat branch trail runs right next to the park.
Spray ground in the summer, and a creek and a bridge to explore year-round. A play set but no swings. Bike repair station provided.
Cute little park, its a nice addition to downtown, especially the spraygrounds. I wish it had a swingset.
Great place to stop and let the kiddos play. Beautiful trail, even had air pump for bike tires!
I celebrated independence day on 4 July, 2017. No words for such a joy with many many things and beautiful crackers show at the end.
Grate place to hang out with friends or just to walk around
One of the best places for kids and families in CoMO. My daughter loved the spay ground in summers.
The little playground is fun if you catch it solo.
Shadyside park with the creek branch running alongside very scenic route through downtown Columbia Missouri . Lots of bicycles and businesses like restraunts
Great downtown park and trail head for the MKT Trail.
City needs to keep the homeless away!
It needs more shade.
Always a nice place to chill while downtown.
Nice park on the edge of downtown, Katy Trailhead
Playground, fountains, trail - cool place!
I have not been here
Lady at register was very nice...
Really great food and a great selection of drinks.
Really nice little park
We dont head out here too often because the playground is full sun. There is a spray ground and pinic tables.
Nice place
Small but fun and mighty.
