Great staff, ridiculously clean theater, good food. I highly recommend the rpx screen if it is available. My only complaint is that sometimes they have the volume a little too loud.
A nice 14-screen Theater with stadium seating. Select from available assigned seating, so purchase tickets early to select the good seats.Outside ticketing booths or choose the automated ticketing kiosk inside to the left.Use the Regel app to purchase tickets and gain credits towards concessions and free ticketsLarge lobby.Full arcade area on second level.Bathrooms in main lobby and at East and West wings.Large parking lot.Great location right next to the highway.Main restrooms need maintenance and a remodel.
I was so happy to actually be able to see a movie and have movie theater popcorn again. Woohoo!!!
The seating was good and the clarity of the movie was also good, but watch out for the concessions. They are charging full price for large popcorn and sodas, which are suppose to come with a free refill. They are using the virus scare to deny giving refills. If they reduced their prices I wouldnt be upset, but they havent.
A cinema where you can see variety of English and Tamil movies. I want them to screen Hindi/Urdu movies as well. The concession both has no deals and their stuff is expensive. They need to create deals so more people can enjoy their stuff. The cinema is very close to my home so i go there once or twice a week...
This theater has everything. Movies galore, with all kinds of snacks and drinks you could want. Has a game room if you get there earlier and wanna hang out or after a good movie and want to relax. Good nice place for an amazing night out. You should check it out for yourself.
Pretty good theater, bathroom was nice, chairs were fine where I am from all theaters have the reclining seats so that would have been preferred but not a huge deal I get those are newish. They had a movie I was interested in that no other theaters in columbia were showing so thats a huge bonus pretty good experience.
Over all its expensive compared to other places. Very pricey concession. But the theater was super clean! Not messy at all. Pretty big, quality video. What more can you ask? Cheaper concession atleast. 6 bucks for a small sprite? No thanks. Dont get me started on that large popcorn. Anyway just go to the movies last.
Comfy seats if youre short. Im 52 so the seat was great! I could even see over the heads of the people in front of me. My husband is 62. His legs were squished in between the seat and the row in front of us.
I have the Regal Pass and go to nearly every movie that come out. Have enjoyed it immensely these past three months!Nice theatre.
Had a horrible experience here. The theater advertised a movie to start at 6:45 On their website. My family drove 30 minutes to Columbia to see it. When we got there they told us that the theater was actually showing another movie instead of the one they advertised. Other customers where. trying to buy tickets for the same movie and were also upset. The skinny blonde manager could care less. If youre going to advertise a movie you need to stick to the schedule. Dont just change it last minute because you feel like it!
Enjoyed getting out and watching the movie.
Saw a movie in theater 5 and there was a rattling sound throughout the entire time. Probably the heat system, but so annoying when you spent $20 just to get in. Makes me wish I had just rented the show and stayed home.Forum Theater is less expensive admission and snacks and gives a military discount.
Very disappointing! The floors were awful, I felt like we were walking on popcorn, it was gross. There was no one to offer tickets, it was a busy weekend and we had to stand in line to use a computer, only one was available bc the other was broke down.Concession had no bundle package except a WAY over priced Star Wars edition. The concession counter way gross, butter was everywhere it looked as though it hadnt been wiped in days. The theater smelled super musky and the seats were so uncomfortable and broken down. The entire experience was bad. We will not be back, it is VERY disappointing to pay the prices and it be like that.
Nice place and nice people.
Needs a deep clean. Its a great place except theatre seats were very dirty and theater #5 had a strong wet/ mold odor. It was also very humid before film began. AC did come on as soon as movie began and odor became worse. Service at concession was very good.
Nice and comfy theatre. Easy parking and comfortable seats. I recommend getting your ticket(s) prior to arrival; there are a limited number of kiosks from which to purchase tickets on site, so its likely there will be a line.
This movie theater is a nice little place. Got a decent arcade for what seems like average pricing these days. The seating is elevated so people sitting in front of you doesnt hurt.
I just give 5 star to the IMAX or recliner theaters if they deserve it. But your theater is very good. Fresh popped popcorn, love it.
The hallway smelt like a bathroom and our movie theater (#6) was 59F...which would be awesome if it was July.
The movie & staff were great! The theater had a strong cleaning smell & seats were damp! Thought I was going to have a wet butt! I wasnt the only one that notice.
My only complaint about my experience was the movie we went to see. My family and I went to go see Joker and it was just terrible. I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and watch literally anything else. We should of been paid to watch that movie.
One of the worst movie theater experiences Ive had in a long time. Box office was not open, tickets had to be purchased at the concessions counter. One of the two kiosks was out of order. Condiments station was an utter mess. It took us 15 minutes of waiting in line just to buy tickets. Considered buying tickets online but the server fee was not negligible and still need to purchase refreshments. Disappointing experience
The guy in the red shirt brown hair looked 21 lies to us (my man and I) about not being able to scan his screen shot even tho he switched phones and couldnt log in and the reset password would not work due to being down. Proceeded to say that because of the white line it wont do it at all. The guy at the counter scanned it perfectly fine, absolutely no problem and checked his ID. so I dont understand why it was necessary for him to hassle us and make us late to our movie. And my man told us how he shouldnt have done that and how he should have checked his Id so he showed him as well.
Decent theatre that is easy to get to from Highway 63. It does tend to be busier than Goodrich Forum, but the theatre is larger. Do note though that the box office doesnt open until 30 minutes before the first showing, so if you are wanting to try and beat the crowds for a big blockbuster film, I wouldnt suggest getting there much before then. Overall good theatre with decent seats and concessions.
Its not bad. Normally not very crowded. Services are good. Theater itself needs some renovation though.
Clean theater. The guy behind the snack counter offered me a little water cup to put my pickle juice in so it didn’t get everywhere. What a great idea!
Decent theater. I go out of my way to hit the RPX showings, as its the nicest experience. Non-RPX shows are a gamble on if youll get one of the larger theater rooms, or one of the smaller, more outdated ones.
Nice clean theaters. Great movie choices most of the time.
RPX was rather disappointing and didnt seem worth the extra cost. The regular theater seating needs renovation. The arcade isnt bad. Not impressed, but Im glad theyre here.
Staff was awesome for sure, but it doesnt feel like a movie going experience. The weird electronic kiosks are like a lame redbox stand. The outdoor booths are never used. Its very economy in the seating and theater in general. For how much youre paying, there should just be more niceties. The screens are decent and the audio is good too, in the base theaters. Im actually quite put off by the amount of Regal advertising before the film. Overall, barely worth the price. They just have very little competition.
This theatre is a great place to go watch a movie. I ordered 4 tickets to see Avengers Endgame and the atmosphere felt good during the movie and when we bought popcorn. The service was good but there was nothing outstanding. The quality, sound, and size of the movie was great. My weaknesses are that the arcade here didnt have many good games to play and you cant pick seats in the theater anymore, instead you have to reserve seats before going in which means that if you get a bad seat, you will be stuck sitting there. Overall this is a great theatre to watch a movie at with a mediocre arcade. I would recommend this theatre to anyone who wants to watch a new movie, but I would not recommend this to anyone who just wants to play at the arcade.
Delicious popcorn, clean facility and conscientious helpful staff. Great experience. Highly revommended.
Its been about 7 years since Ive seen a movie in a theatre, and this was definitely a positive experience that makes me want to go again instead of merely waiting for video or on demand. The parking was easy, though handicapped spots were well off to the side rather then closer to the door. The staff at the ticket and concessions counters were friendly and courteous. The lobby was clean, with some seating and restrooms close by. Prices seemed normal for a movie, a drink and box of candy - that is to say high, but not excessive. My film was an RPX feature which Id never experienced before. The screen was slightly larger it seemed, but very crisp looking, and the sound great though perhaps a tad loud. Seating was very comfortable, with slight recline. I did have a great deal of difficulty lowering my arm rest with the cup holder. Had to actually stand up and pull at it leveraging my weight some. There were about 20 minutes of previews and commercials prior to the feature, which irritated my guest, but I didnt mind much. The film was 120 minutes and I was comfortable sitting the duration.
Admission and concession prices are ridiculous! The admission price for a senior citizen is a joke - 10 cent reduction of regular admission. Regal obviously doesn’t care to have seniors as patrons. Avoid Columbia Regal and go to Forum instead.
The place has really gone down hill over the years. The parking lot is full of holes. The seats in theater 8 are terrible. Prices are high. Totally disappointed. Movie was good but experience was terrible.
People are nice and the place is very well taken care of. The kids like the arcades.
I lost my wallet here after watching a movie. When I called I was sent to a never ending voice machine that wouldnt let me get to anyone for help. I drove back and asked for assistance and they wouldnt even allow me to go and check my seat for it. Instead I was left to wait for another full movie to end before actually being helped. My wallet could be stolen at this very moment. If you want human beings to help you, who actually understand you, dont come here.
Couldn’t make it through the previews before I had to leave due to the smell of cat urine in the theater. General area did not have that problem.
We had the most pleasant experience today and the manager, Lindsey, really went above and beyond to work with us. She definitely puts customer satisfaction first and we really appreciated everything she did for us. Thank you so much!
Totally HATE the self serve ticket kiosk! If I wanted self-service, I would have bought my tickets online and SAVED $2!
This is a very clean and nice theater. I enjoy going here often.
Seats were old school cloth and seemed damp from cleaning, could smell the cleaner (which is good, but ?) We are not from this area and the reason I give a 3 star is for all the customers on cell phones during the movie, I counted at least 6 in front of us (we were in the center). I asked the ones in front of us to please stop 3 times and received rude comments. After the movie i approached 2 employees at the ticket station asked them what the theaters policy was as I was not from the area, expanded to them what happened. They replied i should have contacted them, sorry but Im not going to walk out with my kids to have them enforce what they should be doing. I can understand if it was just one person on their phones, but this seems like this is an ongoing problem that should be pro active by employees. My family of 6 will probably not return to this theater.
I will say this place is rather nice with the exception of the chairs they were not very comfortable. The staff was really friendly however I attended one movie and the theater smelled unpleasant. Ive been a few times and I didnt notice a smell any other time so it may have just been a one time thing.
Terrible. The pick your seats system was glitchy and confusing. We had to redo it twice. The theater smelled terrible and floors were sticky. Overall not clean but the screen and sound stem are good
I have to vent about movies starting a full 30 mins after their start time. Im ok with a few ads and a few previews, BUT not 10 ads and 8 previews!
Can someone please give the direct number to contact the cinema? We left a jacket and cannot be connected directly to cinema. I will update the rating when I receive the phone number, Thank you
Regal is one of the nicer theater chains in my opinion. This Columbia location is no different. Clean, modern, and friendly staff.Always a great experience.
The only thing I can really complain about is the price of concessions. Im not sure how people are okay with paying $6 for soda. The arcade was great.
Fine, but feels like experience hasnt been updated since the 90s. Extremely limited concessions, older seats.
Great setup and atmosphere for a last minute date idea!
The process of purchasing a ticket was chaotic and the assigned seating caused squabbling in the theater. People were bickering over the tiny amount of space allotted for each ticket. I couldnt cross my legs without disturbing the person seated ahead of me. And the people behind me were fighting over who paid for which seat. Also, theater was dirty.
Movie was cool but the theater smells mildewy and $7.12 is too much for a Sprite.
Nice place to catch a movie but they were a little pricey over the places I normally go to. maybe its just this area I was visiting.
Great theaters.Excellent staff.Good prices on tickets.I wish they would ease up on the prices of snacks, drinks and popcorn.Nice gaming room upstairs. Good selection of games.
I love coming here for movies. They have super friendly staff and their management team is top notch. We went here for a movie and the movie stopped partway. We went to let someone know and their management team was already on it. They gave everyone passes to come back and were able to start the movie back up.
I used to work here and even after leaving its still my go to theater. The popcorn is awesome and their drink sizes are huge! Of course that comes with the expected movie theater prices but its worth it. The movie rotation is constant and it tends to have more options than the other theater in town. Also stadium seating is a big plus because you dont have to worry about sitting behind someone too tall. They recently added reserved seating and that makes the stress of going to a movie opening night much less. All in all definitely worth the price for the quality of a theater.
Over all the movie was very good. But we went to auditorium 4 and got met with a mildew like smell. I understand it was really rainy and wet a few months ago but it shouldnt be this way. It was very difficult to focus on the movie with that pervasive stench. Not only youre paying for a movie you want to see but you pay for a foul smell when you enter the room. It was very unfortunate. Going again might be an option if the room didnt smell moldy. Take care of it now, its not healthy
It was comfortable & afordable. I got to see Toy Story 4. It was an awesome! It was not crowded. It was quiet.
I like buying tickets online a day earlier and selecting seats.
Love the advanced seating options and technology. I saw a negative review on here condemning the glorious practice of advanced ticketing/assigned seats. Without these types of societal boundaries our culture would descend into chaos. I for one refuse to view a movie as if Im a barbarian. So thank you Regal Columbia Stadium 14 for having a ticket purchasing experience as fresh as your popcorn; and for providing me with stability in the maelstrom of western cultures chaos.
Terrible. They would not allow my daughter to bring in my 3 week old granddaughter because she was too young. Discrimination of any kind is wrong and your employee Caleb was the one that made us leave. Ryann was only sleeping and he stopped us at the concession stand and told us to leave. That ruined our planned family movie together. We had to go to Forum 8 to watch our movie. Regal needs to stop illegal age discrimination before legal action is required. Thanks for managing this issue.
Im visiting Ian from out of town. Where Im from I normally dont go to Hollywood Theaters. But I have to say this one was pretty exceptional. It was very well kept. And felt like a actual movie theater and I really enjoyed Shazam at this theater
It was good but wish seats were more comfortable and not so close to the row in front of you not comfortable for tall ppl lol
Regal is close to our house, so we end up there on the rare times we go to a movie. Unfortunately it costs more than Forum and is in dire need of cleaning and updating, so well be making the trek to Forum next time. It smelled strongly of urine in the hallway and of mildew in the actual theatre. It was humid in the theatre. The seats are uncomfortable and unclean. The bathroom stall doors dont lock well and the floors are wet and littered with toilet paper. Everything except the RPX theatre is just outdated and should be totally redone. Staff are friendly.
Very nice seats, great picture and sound.
People were in our reserved seats in a busy theater, so I asked them to move. They told us people took their seats, so they took ours and they weren’t moving. I asked management to move the people in our seats, because we had a party of 4 and wanted to sit in our reserved seats next to each other. Management pussyfooted around the issue, wanting to be non-confrontational, and they gave us four free tickets. We wanted our seats that we reserved, not free tickets. I don’t want to go to a theater that lets you reserve seats, which gives you the impression of confidence, and then doesn’t uphold those standards. I’d rather go to a theater that I don’t reserve my seats and am fully aware that the earlier I come, the more seats there will be to choose from. I understand it would be a disruption to move everyone around, but the expectation is that we pay for seats that we reserve, we get them. That is not the case with this theater. They do not stand up for their customers.
Our favorite movie theater in CoMo with better popcorn than their competition.
GO TO FORUM, NOT REGAL! When we walked into our theatre, we were overcome by a gross, musty smell... which we figured out was our WET seats! They must’ve cleaned them (which is great) BUT why would they welcome customers back into the theatre before the seats dried?? Disgusting!
Nice clean theater. The screen I sat in was reserved seating and I was not familiar with it so the attendant recommended the perfect seat
Interesting theater, not bad, not great, average. Young man at the popcorn stand was helpful and professional if not overly friendly.Sat in the very back row with my granddaughters and the seats are narrow and very low. Armrests do not go up, very large, meandering building.Disabled parking on the side, seems further away than regular parking, very pricey at snack bar.
I like this movie theater and the arcade is great!
Was a pleasant experience. Dont got any complaints
The movie was good. We enjoyed it. However not at ALL the fact you have to pick your seats now! We were the only people even at that show! Ridiculous! Not convenient for anyone especially old people! They need to change it back or people WILL boycott... We say heck to the NO on reserved seating!!!!!
Best movie theater in Columbia! Theaters are nice, it is well kept, and staff is friendly.
Nice place to see a movie. Too expensive to attend often. So special occasions or discount movie nights are the best bet.
Hollywood/Regal Theatres as its known locally is a fantastic place to catch a film. The prices are completely reasonable for a theatre of its size, comfort, and cleanliness. Always the first in its area with a new movie showing. Has a giant arcade to kill time and a good rewards points program. Offers a huge array of snacks to choose from and feels like how a movie theater should feel.
Theater was nice. Big. I wish the snack bar had combos.
Today I went to see a movie to cash in my Regal Crown Rewards for a free movie. Apparently you need the app to do so. App wouldnt work and so I was going to lose my free movie that expires tomorrow. Manager on duty was kind and accommodating enough to offer me a free movie pass for future use, since the app wasnt working. Good customer service that was appreciated.
Theater was basically empty but the people were very nice. Also for people like me who care: they use glasses caption devices not cup devices.
We come to Regal frequently but this time we had a party of 7 and when we got in the theater it was humid, the seats felt damp and it smelled bad. I complained to the manager and after checking seats in another theater room and finding the same results we had to deal with it, because the movie was a part of a graduation celebration. The manager did reluctantly offer us free passes. So upon our next visit again we were met with a humid smelling theater room and a damp feeling to our seats. This is very disappointing if it has been raining a lot in the area and you want to catch a movie I would recommend trying another theater otherwise you may feel like youre sitting on someone elses sweat.
I really dislike the reserved seating in this theater. I would much rather pick my seating when I go in so I can pick who I sit next to or behind. For example, if I go into the auditorium and see a group of children, I might wish to sit a couple of rows away from them. Without reserved seating, I can make my own decision on the spot. Consequently, I have stopped patronizing this theater.
The theaters air quality is horrible. It smelled musty like mildew and dust. I felt sick the day after from breathing in the air. I am not sure what is wrong with the place, but it was very humid in the theater. I do not recommend seeing a movie here because you will have to sit through the movie smelling the mold and musty smell. Stay home!
Friendly employees. Always clean. First choice to see a movie in Columbia.
Overall it’s a nice theater. Prices are alright, concession prices are normal for a movie theater. One thing that sets this place apart from the other theater in town is that you can reserve your seats ahead of time or choose them as you are buying your ticket at the booth. They have a variety of showtimes and that makes them very convenient.
Very quiet, clean, and spacious. Lines usually long every time I go
Went and saw The Lion King yesterday. My ticket was for 7:15 in auditorium 7. When the previews started I noticed that the picture was pretty dim and slightly out of focus. I thought maybe it would be better once the movie started, but it got worse. There were visible vertical stripes on the screen and the sound was so muted it sounded like it was coming out of a cell phone. I got up and moved to the next auditorium which was showing it at 7:30. The sound was way better but the picture was still dim. Besides installing the RPX a few years ago I feel like they have put no money into this theater.
We were surprised at the state of the theater when we attended the 6:30pm showing of Lion King on 7/18/19 (a week night). The restrooms had not been cleaned or restocked with paper products. The entire theater in general seemed to be run-down and dirty in appearance. The theater seemed to be between rushes with lots of staff standing around making casual conversation with one another. Our seats in the theater 10 were very squeaky to the point that we felt it was disturbing to those viewing the movie around us if we shifted or changed positions. The arm rest my husband and I shared was broken and ended up breaking the skin on his arm and causing him to bleed when he unknowingly placed his arm on the rest. The volume was also quiet for a movie. We were disappointed to learn that this location no longer offers combo pricing for drink and popcorn purchases, and that the only available combo is that candy is a $1 off if customers were to purchase both a beverage and popcorn. This experience was certainly not normal when it comes to our other experiences with this particular theater in the past. It makes us wonder if there has been a change in management or ownership. We were disappointed in the overall cinematic experience and hope that it was a fluke and not a permanent decline in the quality of Hollywood Theaters.
Took my Grandson to see How to train your Dragon 3. Wasnt too crowded. It was a good movie, he and I enjoyed it alot. Getting expensive though. But worth it for the memories.
Great service and very clean. Comfortable seating and great sound and view. Prices for food are high. If you bring hot dogs in your purse it will get inspected.
The guy who sold us the movie tickets said we didn’t have to pick our seats because the seating didn’t matter, we could sit wherever regardless. We picked our seats in the theatre and two groups of people tried to make us move because they had picked our seats at the ticket booth. I hate that they make you choose up front because you can’t really tell how close you are to the screen from the chart, but I would have chosen if he would have told me I needed to if I didn’t want to be assigned a random seat. We are going to Forum from now on because the seating situation at Hollywood is ridiculous and they apparently aren’t consistent with it.
We took my daughter and nieces and nephew to the movies for the first time and saw the Lego movie. Nice seating and bathrooms. Tickets were pretty reasonable with 3 adults and 3 kids.
You now have to choose your seats when you buy your tickets. Im tall and I dont want to be forced to sit in front of a child because we both picked our tickets from a screen at the ticket booth. Ill just go to a different theater so I dont feel like a jerk to some random kid or short person and Id ask others to please do the same until this policy is changed.
Nice seating, clean, friendly staff, great picture quality and sound. A little over priced. Seats were empty.
Good sound, projection, decent seats. A bit pricey but, thats inflation for you.
Atmosphere is great, the seats are right and snug!
