I spend the last 15 years working for a haunted house. I have been to several in that time and this was by far the best. we drove 4 1/2 hours for this haunted house and ill definitely be coming back. the themes were amazing it all flowed together so well. the actors are truly amazing they know their roles and play them so well. keep up the great work!!!
We bought tickets online. 2 times were available, 8pm and 9pm. We chose 8. Got here at 7:40 and it was crazy. One would think given the time choices that they expected you to be out in an hour so the next group at 9 would come in. Not so!! I dropped my kids off thinking I could just wait for them in the parking lot. Well, here I am, 3 1/2 hours later. Kids are STILL in line. This is bs. We will never do this again.
We waited in line(s) for way too long. The line to get inside took over 3 hours to get through, and once we were inside, we waited another 2.5 hours to actually get into the haunted house. The actors that were there were phenomenal ( and actually the only reason Im giving two stars instead of one)! However, the actors were very few and far between. We didnt even have anyone jump out at us on the haunted trail. It was also disappointing that everything inanimate stayed that way. Most haunted houses have sensors or triggers that when activated cause some kind of spooky reaction. If they had that it would have definitely made up for the lack of actors. They had fire spinners there for entertainment while waiting in line, but unfortuantely the spinners were shoved off in a corner. That made it nearly impossible to watch them.I have been in scarier haunted houses for less money and less time spent waiting.
It started out great but then it just got a little boring. Overall was worth the money and time though. My friends loved it.
Took the family last year, was looking for another haunted house for this weekend and it reminded me that I never finished this review.Anyhoots, Ill say the lines were incredibly long. To top it off, we had the misfortune of picking an uncomfortably evening to go, which probably made the lines appear worse than they actually were.I also remember being unimpressed with actor density. Such as, the first couple areas were not bad at first, but then it got to the point where the third area seemed to be severely lacking. We didnt finish the last stretch, we jumped the rope and just got out of there.Well give it another go in a few years, but in the meantime spend my money elsewhere.
All the scare actors were great. Lots of energy and some good lines. Would definitely go back again.
This was the worst haunted house Ive ever been in. Half of the 4 attractions didnt have any staffing. This aint worth the money at all. I had people cutting in front of me and people running me over in the attraction. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
Waited 4 1/2 hours to get inside the haunted house. They let 4-5 fast pass groups in then 1 or 2 groups of regular line then 4-5 fast pass groups. Horrible line control. Wouldnt recommed to anyone
Absolute worst experience. Waited over 4 hours and never made it in the haunt. Staff was offering vip entry and fast pass for an additional charge after waiting 3 hours!!! They refused to sell us vip or fast pass when purchasing our tickets claiming fast pass and VIP were sold out. The longer you wait the longer you will wait because they sell VIP and fast pass to people in the line. I lost $60 to these scam artists!!!
Good effort but definitely not worth the money! Not very scary in my opinion. Not a lot of actors and you walk a long way with no one scaring you in each attraction.
The best nontouch houses Ive been to. They were really good with social distancing at this time and had good covid policies while still being really scary. I have gone to the darkness in st Louis this year and last year i went to creepyworld and this was better than both of those. The actors really good at keeping a conversation in character. As well as being fun as well as scary
This was the best haunted house ive ever been to the kids were scared out of their minds! But they had lots of fun we will be going next year
Took hours to get in even when we ordered our tickets online. Not that scary, they arent supposed to touch you but one monster pushed me. There was one clown with what looked like a real gun that shot a blank less than 5 feet from my face in a small hallway. Just as loud as a real gun, I couldnt hear anything for the next 20 minutes.
My sister and I visited for Halloween and we had a wonderful time, the haunts were done really well. I wish I could have hugged the panda!!!
Felix is the best worker there!!! Felix is the goat. Get my man Felix a pay raise!!! Nicest man there
I think St. Louis and Kansas City have a higher quality of haunted house.
Horrible Customer Service and online time slot is a joke. Not at all what it was 3 years ago. Very few actors. First attraction lasted 3 minutes. 2nd was 5 minutes. Wait time 4 hours!
Line was 3 hrs, but its a popular attraction, so .
Felix is the best worker there 100%. Give him a raise. Absolute legend.
Best time ever had to wait a little bit but it was worth it
We had a large group of 13 at $30 we came out a lot of money to stand in line at first for 1 1/2 hours to get tickets then 2 hours n 45 minutes for 1st house which was neat but to come out that house to wait another hour for the next house same for last couple houses freezing outside no heat laps to warm up its fire pits but who wants to stand way by them to warm up and loose your spot in line definitely not worth my time nor money
Had a lot of fun. People were very respectful as far as the guests go. Staff was fantastic! Kid friendly for sure. I would bring my 9 year old. All for 1 price!
The only thing scary about this place is the wait times
Very impressed with this Haunted House. The first house you go through is average, but each one after that gets better and better. I had quite a few jumps when going through. I recommend!
My daughter loved getting time away from her military base and being able to just have fun. Make sure you pay the extra $5 to get the glow necklace for the extreme scare
Try to call over and over- no phone. Says line is disconnected. Aren’t open on Sunday night and it’s a week before Halloween? Guess won’t be going here.
First off they advertise 4 attractions. You cannot buy tickets for just one or two. You buy a ticket for all and thats it. So its actually one attraction. We get there around 7:30 and wait about 30 minutes to purchase our two tickets of $30 each. We then proceed ahead to wait for 2 hours and 15 minutes in line before were able to go in. We go in the first haunt and 7 minutes later we are through only to find another line almost as long as the first. After another 1-1/2 hours we go through the next haunt. Then we wait another 30 minutes to go through the next haunt. Then we go through the last haunt after another 1 hour wait. We were very disappointed in the quality of the scares and attention to details. It was not well ran and we witnessed tons of people giving up and leaving. We stuck it out and 5-1/2 hours later we were done. We will never be back. The waiting took all the fun out of the experience. You can purchase a VIP pass for another $20. This would be the only way to see this attraction in a reasonable amount of time. However this is not a cutting edge Haunt. I have seen way more innovated scares in a lot smaller Haunts.
Awesome! Great for scares!!
Very fun, great for something to do on Halloween. Very high quality haunted houses. Long lines, but thats too be expected around Halloween.
I really liked the Asylum, the Mortuary, and Necropolis. I had to cut the trail short because of my bad knees and back pain. I will say Necropolis needs some more scary zombies. But all in all a good time was had by all.
Do not waste your money. We spent $100 for 2 of us just to be rushed through this cheesy show. Not scary at all.
I. Had a great time. Its scary and the actors dont touch if you dont want to be touched.I cant wait until next time.
Awesome.....Thanks. well worth the wait. When I purchased my tickets I knew there was gonna be a line, it was cold...I may have whined a little. In the end. I was extremely satisfied with all of it. For as many people as where there, the lines moved in like 15 minutes intervals. You guys did awesome. . Thanks FearFest.
The lines werent clear they have no sign for online tickets an regular tickets. Paid $100 for my gf an I to go through VIP. Wasnt impressed makeup was meh and just wasnt very scary. For the price I didnt feel the value was up to par. Wouldnt reccomend because of the wait I spent to find out I needed to be in a different line an the quality.
Loved it !
The are a number of things wrong with this place. The first being is that there online they said it would take 3-40 minutes to go through tall of the haunted houses. I spent 2 hours waiting in a line full of smoker. I could not get one breathe of fresh air and driving home I can still taste the smoke. This place needs to invoke a no smoking policy.
We didn’t have a super long wait but the man working the first line who was probably around 50-60 years old was very immature and made the experience terrible. He treated teenagers with no respect and was very unprofessional. I went to all four attractions and only 1/4 was worth the time. It was over priced and many of the workers and actors were disrespectful.
Better than expected! The employees were friendly, and the attraction was decently scare inducing. The fast passes were definitely worth it though.
The worst haunted attraction Ive ever been to dont waste your money its a joke!!!
This was soooo amazing I loved it
It was not scary at all worst year yet..
Ill give this two stars because the actors are amazing. But its way over priced. You stand in line for 2 hours and the houses take 2 minutes to get through. Not worth the money. The website says to expect 30 to 40 minutes to walk through....couldnt be more wrong. Its worth the drive to go to one is KC or STL where you spend a significant amount of time in the houses.
Very overpriced for what they offer. Plus, they dont accept cards so the only place within a decent range to get cash is an ATM at the gas station which also charges a fee of $5. The haunted houses were short and not scary at all. I was in a group that had a 6 year old girl and she didnt scream or react to anything because it was not scary at all. We also paid for the Zombie Paintball, which was SUPER short. I mean, you go around a bend and thats it. We also did the Haunted Forest which had a totally of 3 actors hiding in bushes. That was it. Very disappointing especially with how much I paid. I think it was around $50 or so per person. Do not recommend.
This years Fearfest was Amazing! Best asylum Ive been to. I even made a bunch of crazy friends! And saw four Harley Quinns! Either way, it was so scary and super fun! My family and I had a blast!
So I took my two daughters (12 & 9) here tonight for there first time ever going to a haunted house In hopes that they would be scared out there minds and Mabe a couple wet pants sense my youngest is kinda scared of everything....... instead of screams there was laughing and awwwww that’s cute!!!???? Really!!!!!! There wasn’t even very many actors and the ones that was there Definitely has somewhere better they rather of been!!!! What a waste of money and a big let down!!!! I’m sorry girls momma will make it up to you next year...️
This haunt has gone flat. Two tickets with fast passes cost us 97.00 which is a bit much to begin with and when we got there the line for pre-printed tickets was closed so they had to stand in line any way. There was really no one there and they were first in line, so the fast passes were a waste of money. There were very few actors in the haunts and they were finished with all 4 in less than 30 minutes. They came home very let down. Not impressed with how much money we wasted on such a disappointment this year.
Had a great time. Nice to have fire pits and hot chocolate and hot apple cider to keep us warm.
Was a lot of fun. But the strobe lights were a bit over powering. Actor were very dedicated and committed to thir roles.
Way overpriced for what you experience. Not worth it
Not scary, the people are nice. They allow employees to smoke near the line which sucks.
It was a fun experience. The crew is really good at hiding and popping out when you least expect it.
Nice and scary. Single destination that has 4 different installations of scare. Insane Asylum, Haunted house, haunted circus, and Government experiments.. MUST buy fadt pass or youll wait in line for each installation for approximately an hour. Also buy tickets online as there is a huge line at the entrance for tickets and its freezing cold. Youll go right in if you have the online tickets with fast pass, your wait tile will be less than 10 mins for all of the attractions collectively. Talking about the installations, circus one needs to have some jump scares as we can see while walking in jungle that where the scary clowns are... the insane asylum was the scariest.
Not worth the price 6-12 years old may enjoy it!
My friends and I went around Halloween, and their credit card machine wouldnt work. We waited about half an hour, and my friend finally hiked through the mud and dark to her car, drove to a nearby gas station, and got money out of their ATM. They ended up giving us VIP passes, which was nice, but doubt Ill be back this year. They always seem really mismanaged, and its difficult to see these really little kids in line. I understand theyre there with their parents, but some of these kids are 5-8 years old and seem terrified.
The entire thing was awesome and I had a blast. The only thing I didnt like was all the strobelights
Not worth it. Overpriced and unorganized. The trailer during the zombie paintball shoot came off of the truck and some of the staff were incredibly rude to other customers. I see why it was shut down. Be SAFEJust a place for teens to cuss and smoke
More of a maze than a haunt. Not worth $30
Bad/good. Good, because it was better then last years, it was a lot long inside the building per section. It just wasnt worth an extra 10$ for a speed pass when it was only good for one section, not both.
The attractions are awesome, the actors are professional and we had fun. However, the ticket booth is unbelievably slow, and the entrance line was frustrating because they try to push as many people to buy the skip the line pass for an extra $10.
Sufficiently scared sh!tless. Thx!
IV BEEN TWO YEARS NOW AND THIS YEAR WAS A MAJIOR LET DOWN NOT WORTH THE 40 DOLLARS THAT WE SPENT. THE TWO HOUSES INCLUDED BAD ACTING AND CHILD PLAY MAKEUP. NEEDED MORE ACTORS FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE. THEY OVER USED THE WORD CHICKEN NUGGETS......WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT SCARY WILL NOT BE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR. IRATE THIS SPOOK A NEGATIVE 4 !
After standing in a line for 2 hrs for the 1st attraction my feet were completely frozen. There werent any heaters like there were 3 yrs ago when i was there. People around me were complaining about how they couldnt feel their limbs other than their fingers and toes. After entering and walking through for about 10 minutes i was then told i had to wait in ANOTHER line for the 2nd attraction that then took 30 minutes. People were livid! When you have to wait in line for 2 hrs and 30 minutes for a total of 20 min walk through thats a problem. I will never be back. All the money they make there with all the people that attend they could have provided MORE heaters than they had 3 yrs ago. VERY disappointed.
This was my families first visit here it was ridiculous I paid $247.00 just to spend in line for 2 1/2 hours for some little girl to only let out of vip line we had to find a security guard to finally get someone to let us into the zombie paintball then terror of the woods $25 a person is too high to pay for no more than what we saw! We mostly paid for stand time then when we went into the zombie paintball half our guns froze and didnt even work! I will not recommend fear fest to anyone!
The first one was great and was super scary but the second one was a dud it was not scary until the maze and that was ok but not great so yeah but it was definitely worth the 20$ amount.
Horrible scares, could have been better
Ill give it a O didnt do anything for me
Good people having a great time
Best haunted house Ive been awesome zombie safari a must see
Little on the pricy side, but overall worth it. Costumes were amazing and actors really committed to the scares.
Not scary not worth the price
Best haunted house Ive ever been to.
Website says open til 1 am tonight drove two hours to get there and they are closed
Great time with my kids.
Scary but fun
Waited in line for almost 3 hours just to make it through for the paintball attraction.which only lasted 5 minutes.
It was fun, but not worth $25/person
Love it I go every year
Had a VIP pass and still waited. ( waiting) They are alternating instead of letting VIP go.
So much fun!!
Lots of spook
Scary
Long lines and over priced
Lots of fun!
Horrible
Exciting for all ages
Love it!
Best haunted house in Missouri!
Definitely will go again!
