The traveled 35 minutes on Sunday to come here. When we walked we were greeted and proceeded to look around. Our first impression was awesome. We saw employees cleaning the games and their was plenty of hand sanitizer placed on tables everywhere. The employees in the bowling lanes were professional and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thank you Main Event staff.

This place is better than I expected! I was thinking it was a bowling place but is more similar to Dave & Busters, but a smaller version of it. They have restaurant, space for birthday parties, you can play games, bowling, pool, unlimited laser tag or sit around and wait for the kids.Everybody in the family can have fun here.Down side: We came here to play bowling but the waiting time was over two hours. Then we decided to play pool and they said they had people in the waiting list, So we ended up playing games on the arcade and later on we did the laser tagging.We didn’t try the food here but next time if we do I will update my review.

When my group and I ( 5 of us) arrived to main event on 8/9/2020 we were greeted very nicely. We went to the main desk and purchased all access wrist band for laser tag and bowling. Since the laser tag availability was close to the time when we arrived we decided to do laser tag first. After we finished we immediately went to the main desk to get on the wait list for bowling. The manager promptly assisted us and we gave our information to be alerted when the eating bowling lane was ready. It was required for us to let them know we wanted to eat so they could assist us effectively. This all happened at 9:45pm. We waited over an hour and STILL did not receive a bowling lane availability text notification. Out of curiosity, we inquired on how much longer it would be for an open lane because at that point it was 11:00pm and the facility closed at 12AM. After 10 minutes of getting us a lane, they immediately told us the kitchen was closed. We requested to speak with a manager on duty, whom never came over to us. The employee just stated to us never mind the kitchen is open, but were closing soon We then quickly ordered after being rushed to order and had to pay immediately as if it was an inconvenience to patron their business. Once our food arrived, the food was incorrect and severely undercooked. It was evident that it was rushed. At this point my family and I were extremely upset and disapointed. The manager denied to fix the meal because they just turned the pizza maker off and it takes too long to reheat. He requested to take the pizza off and not to mention he did not apologize for anything. Oh! we also never received our drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic This entire experience was awful. We will not be patronizing this Main Event facility. It was a horrible experience.

Always so much fun coming here, its like a Mini Dave & Busters. They are fully prepared for COVID season whenever I go. Theyre ready with gloves, wipes, and hand sanitizer. On Fridays (after 9pm) they have a low cost unlimited game option for under $15

OMG!!! Fun! Fun!!Fun!!! Very vibrant, lots of people, loads of games to play. The best part is the ME card which is like an ATM for playing and ticket winning are deposited in the card and can be used for purchase some items. There are three Restaurants incase you get hungry. BTW make sure you bring enough money for the games. Loved it.

I played pool here several months ago and had a pretty good experience. Pool tables are near the main walkway but you can stand over 6 feet from passers by. Saw a couple kids with their mask below their nose but this is very hard to enforce. Had a great conversation on the phone with one of the sales people about Covid Saftey (cant remember his name) but so pleasant to talk with. Also talked twice with Tavon the security guard out front who was taking temperature checks. Hes advised me when the busiest times are, always super nice, great asset to Main Event.

Inaccurate website information, faulty machinery, outrageous prices, and poor customer service.We went to the main event last weekend. Many of the machines where not working. One example, the machine that counted chips. Not only was it extremely tedious and time consuming to insert one chip at a time, (we spent lots of money playing this game) but it also stopped working! Another example, one game had a faulty sensor and repeatedly said we lost before the game had started (we tried many times to play it). The drinks were unreasonably expensive as well.Tonight we gave the main event another shot and we were even more displeased. A group of 6 of us arrived at 10pm and we were turned away at the door by an extremely rude man because one of us was under 21. He stated that no one under 21 was allowed in after 8 and that everything but the arcade was closed. (I checked the website before arriving, which said bowling was open until close, 2am, and said NOTHING about having to be 21 to enter.) *note last week there was little kids running around when we left at MIDNIGHT!This establishment needs to get their act together!Zero stars!

It was ok. I thought it would be a little more upscale. But it kind of gives me bootleg chuckie cheese vibes. But it does have laser tag (2 hr wait), and bowling. I also feel like it has a better variety of games vs. Dave n buster. Due to covid, they take temps at the door. But i would come here again.

Dave and Busters done correctly. No children after a certain time and requires and ID to get in. So much fun and the staff is friendly.

We went and bought two all day passes that included bowling and laser tag. We only went for the laser tag, but since bowling was included we bowled too. When we got there none of the cash register things were on so it took a while for the computer to start up and take my card. During that time they failed to tell me that laser tag was closed until 4pm. We arrived at 10:30 for the before noon special. Our receipt said the next laser tag game was at 11:20 we waited in line at this time and no one helped us. Since it was taking a while we decided to bowl while they got set up. After bowling we went back to the laser tag line. That is when they finally decide to inform us laser tag is closed until 4pm and we cant get a refund because we already bowled. Why wouldnt they have told us this beforehand the first time we were in line. The ad and all of the boards said laser tag was included. I will not be returning.

Get ready to have a game day overload! This place is a one stop shop for everyone. I had a ball here most recently at a kids birthday party. They have laser tag, bowling, billiards, and an arcade all wrapped into one. The cool addition, is that this place is located directly in Columbia mall surrounded by tons of restaurants and bars. Everything is within walking distance. The only setback is the parking. But overall, a great place!

Professional, friendly, courteousBowling: 5 stars: clean area, nice set up, nice atmosphereDining in bar/restaurant:Food: 4 stars- both times I got typical bar food which was pretty good.Wait staff: 4 stars: friendly, professional BUT, not enough of them to keep up with demand so service ends up being extremely slowBar tenders: 0-1 stars!!!! After 2 visits to this bar I can say that collectively both experiences were absolutely awful. Both times there was one bar tender who was doing almost all the work who was pleasant. However on both occasions, the second bar tender was lazy, incredibly unprofessional to the point that its incomprehensible. I literally have never seen anything like it. This inconsistency is true of the taste of the drinks where 2/5 drinks from the parties at our table were good. The other three: one was awful and had to be sent back, two were not what was ordered. As far as speed of service: disgustingly slow. Like had to wait a half hour or more slow (per drink)... to the point that the manager had to go pull our one of about 10 tickets of unmade drinks to get ours made.On the plus side: the degree of slowness makes it great way to kill time if you need to, which is the only reason we didnt get up and leave!

Hindsight is twenty twenty. The girl at the front desk told me that my friend paid for me already. I said I know but a third person came - Im him and I want to play pool too. So Ill take the $24 dollar ticket. She said something something that I cant remember because they have three different prices. This was my first time there and my experience with the cashier was awkward but we finally settled on the $20 ticket. I didnt do anything other than play pool, drank a beer, ate some wings n things. So I finally get back home, vape my grass and thought about how I went out of my way to pay for this yellow bracelet when I should have just stayed at the table and joined the already in progress pool game. We paid Main Event $60 to play pool for an hour and a half. Luckily for me the only thing I paid for was the beer and that costs as much as the strip joints beer. Whatever man I still had a ball - lost more games then i won but i got my mojo back baby. The security guards were cool down to earth people.

I took my son and several friends here for an evening, consisting of a 2-hr reservation for bowling, laser tag, and I got everyone a gift card for the arcade games.At the end of the day, everyone had a great time and life goes on.However, the bowling allocation was quoted as 10 people, yet we had 8, and was told I would receive a credit, which I have not. No updates, no follow-ups, just dead silence.For laser tag, it was suggested that the bands for unlimited time is best. Ok, fine. I think it was $20/pp. I bought ten bands so that I and my daughter could go in as well. Three guns broke, it was a complete haphazard mess and highly disorganized. I made mention, received a Ill get back to you, then again, silence.All in all, everyone had a nice time but to spend about $700 for a couple hours, having been told that I should receive a follow-up call or email, and applicable credit for services not rendered, nothing.The place is nice, has a great variety of things to do from games and other activities, but the management with regards to customer service and accountability needs a lot to be desired.

This is a cool new addition to the mall. Great family or date night experience with tons of entertainment. Make sure you park on the restaurant side, not the Sears parking lot (even though it is right above Sears). Reason is that after the mall itself closes you will have to walk around the mall to get to your car. I also dont quite understand why you have to get pool balls from the bar in the back rather than the front desk. Not only is that confusing especially since they are advertising for billiards at the front, but it also adds extra work to the already very busy staff at the bar.

It reminds me of a Dave & Busters, it offers bowling (10+ lanes), laser tag, pool tables ( no time limit) and arcade games. We tried to make party reservations almost two months in advance and they were booked up. This place gets packed fast! Table waits vary depending on the crowd. We had to wait 1hour and a half. Our server was pretty on point and handle our large party of 18 pretty well. The food was average at best, we could have gone without really, nothing good or special about it. It was either over cooked or undercooked sadly. The kids enjoyed laser tag but there was a 30 minute wait on that as well. The gift store was over run and over crowded, complete chaos. My kids are 9 and 6, definitely wouldnt allow them to walk around on their own. It was way to much going on and way too many people and not enough security or workers in my opinion. Not a place you can let your hair down and allow your kids to be kids, its more of a family all together event. Hope this helps!

Super expensive arcade. While I can see the appeal for kids the selection of games was fairly limited for how much each costs. Speaking of the credit system they use is foolish. It requires fractions of credits on every game so there is no way to actually use all credits without buying more. Then you get to the ticket redemption area. In order to win any of the prizes in this area expect to spend in the neighborhood of $500-600 on credits in the arcade. That will get you a stuffed animal or a twister board game. Even the majority of the candy is 200 tickets. It would be more enjoyable to just go buy candy and watch my kids burn the sugar off. It would last longer too! We did not use the bowling alley, laser tag, or have food but those also seemed to be on the pricey side.

I had my daughters birthday party there on Saturday 26-19 and it was awesome. My host Samantha, we loved her; shes great and very attentive.

Came here for a work bowling event and had a great time. Two staff members we had were very attentive. Facility was clean and they have a lot of arcade games and pool tables. Would recommend event hosting here.

Games is cool. Dining experience is god awful. Chevy our server was good. But they left her by herself to take care of the whole dining room. Drinks were slow to come out (20 mins) which was ridiculous. Food wasn’t bad. But that also took too long to come out. Game experience was good for my kids. I would say go for kids to play games. Stay away from dining experience.

This place is fun!! As a 90s kid, the arcade gave me nostalgia from how arcades were back then. They have Kid qnd Adult friendly games. The staff were great and took care of us. I really loved the bowling alley and laser tag. I recommend everyone to go here just for a couple hours of fun!

I came there last night (Friday) for the first time, it seemed like a cool place to check out. There was a 2 1/2 hour wait to bowl, wasnt too surprised since it was a Friday night. No big deal, so we decided to go to the bar for a drink and the bar tenders were absolutely TERRIBLE!! Neither one spoke, we went up to get drinks twice once from each girl, no hi hello how you doing, nothing! Thats just crazy. They looked at me straight faced WITHOUT speaking to me to get my order with just the expression of what do you want. Unbelievable. Such a lack of customer service. Maybe lack of personality or even racism. The bar tending staff needs better training. I definitely will not be back.

Don’t bother going here!! Definitely go somewhere else if you want to have a good time! Went here with a few friends to celebrate my birthday. Bartenders were terrible. They tried to make us pay another tables entire check... that they were also trying to make the other table pay for. The manager had to awkwardly return us 100 dollars cash after we literally had to prove her wrong. Service was rude, took forever, even while bowling it was so slow. Our checks were never right... always extra stuff we never ordered. We waited forever to bowl at the bar with the rudest of employees. The worst experience I’ve ever had. Hands down worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Came in with a group of about 16...who are all in, or have been in the industry for years. We came in for our friends birthday and experienced the worst service ever. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt at first considering the circumstances and size of party but couldn’t bite our tongues any longer. We had a table and 2 servers...one which was a manager Aleisha. Never received a beer I ordered, which is neither here nor there at this point. It was a bit chaotic with the split checks so one of our members decided to pay the remainder of the check to avoid chaos...upon leaving and walking to the bowling area the “manager” stopped us and said we still had 137 dollars to pay on the check. Our friend didn’t want any confrontation so he agreed to pay the rest and I asked to look at the check. There were 10 items on the check that were not ours...along with several items he had previously paid but still remained on the balance due. I told the “manager” there were items on the check that were not ours and she said she would take them off...later to find out we ended up paying for them. I returned back to the restaurant area after hearing this news and asked the table next to us if they had ordered the 10 items that we paid for and they said yes, we just finished paying...the “manager” approached me and asked me to step away from the other guests table, which I did and stated she would sort it out. She walked away and I went back and talked to them again and she came over again and rudely stated, “I asked you to step away from this table” so I yet again stepped away....come to find out she allowed us to pay for that tables check and still charged them the entire amount we had just paid for. We paid in cash, they paid with a card. I have worked with their micros system in several restaurants and guarantee she planned to void the items on our check and pocket the cash we paid with. It is extremely unprofessional and needs to be addressed immediately, along the the issue of integrity of employees.

This place is so cool! I was there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was dead so we kind of had the run of the place but everyone seemed friendly and they were refelting one of the pool tables which was nice to see they are keeping up the place. We were going to play skeeball but I think you need a card or something to play games. I didnt take the time to figure it out but will next time. Im super excited to go back when I have more time!

I really enjoyed Main Event! The food and drinks were great! I enjoyed the fact that I could sit in the restaurant while my kids ran around playing the games. Prices were very reasonable for everything!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!I was charged for another persons drink after i created my tab and left to play games. My bank sends alerts for each purchase. I spoke with the Bartender (very Young (looking) lady), and she told me that there was a glitch in their system and that the charge would fall off.Well... here we are a few days later.And it POSTED! As I knew it would!!Crazy thing is i spoke to a manager ( Nice lady with spiked hair) And she confirmed the glitch??!Refund please!!

PRO TIP!! SAVE HUNDREDS! Buy $100 on gift cards at Costco for $80. Then join the email club for Main Event. Every month or so you will get a spend $20 get $20 coupon for games. Bring an existing card to avoid the $2 activation fee. Use $20 of your gift cards to get $20. You can do that 5 times. I only go when I get the coupon in the email. Doing this you spend $80 up front and get a value of $200 if you are patient and wait for the coupons. The kids love it and so does my wallet!

As an Arcade Junkie I am glad to say that this place is awesome as it is right now. Atmosphere was great, food was tasty, and the staff was outstanding. They have a lot of special deals to save you money. I just wish they had more Pop Culture type of prizes.

Went here for a date and had a great time! Played some bowling which was really fun and shuffleboard! I loved how you could order food from the bowling lanes. Also loved the endless music videos on the screen when bowling. Lots of fun.

Went for a birthday party. Kids had a great time and games were fun. They cashed in a bunch of tickets for some little toys and stuffed animals.

We actually had a lot of fun here! There are alot of restaurants surrounding this place and its inside of a mall so you have that option. We were assisted by multiple people but the person that stood out was Will. My father in law didnt have the opportunity to finish the bowling game we had due to time and the amount of players we had and when we spoke to Will about it he set us up with an additional game!!! His customer service was exceptional and I hope he is awarded for kindness ! We will definitely come back to visit and I hope to see Will again! He was truly the cherry on top of my experience!

Very good place to go to and have fun but the lines are very long and sometimes could take more than 2 hours for a activity to free up. Other than that everything is very good. Clean environment, nice staff, and fun place.

I love coming here to hang out with friends in this arcade style hangout spot. Mondays in particular are great due to the unlimited gaming card you can get for the night for only about $10. Gaming aside, there is a bar for the adults as well as laser tag, billiards, and bowling if arcade games arent your style. If you do plan to eat and drink, be prepared to spend a bit more than your typical bar as there is no happy hour probably to keep drinking to a minimum considering main event also entertains minors and children during the hours before 8 or so.

So much fun! Like a cleaner and more family friendly D&B. We love it here! Go on Monday nights for all you can play arcade games!

The staff here are really pleasant. My son busted his nose and two staff members rushed to get him tissue and an ice pack. I wasnt expecting the kindness. We will come again.

My kids enjoy coming here. Variety of options from games, bowling, and laser tag. We havent consumed the food yet which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Left Round 1 because the street was crowded with kids and police were everywhere. We drive here and the kids had a ball!

We had a lot of fun for my friends sons birthday party. You can find better bowling, Lazer tag, pool, games, bar, and food but not under one roof. Something for everyone made this place a hit.

We went for 98 Rocks Bacon and Beer, the birthday edition. We had a great time. They had an all you can play pass for 20 bucks. The breakfast food was very good.

Honestly its just a knockoff version of Dave & Busters, food takes way to long to be served and taste like microwave food, games are too expensive and they force you to spend way more than planned, and the staff is just bad sat at the bar for 20 minutes and still had to wave and say hey super loud to get service. Dont waste your time or money go to Dave & Busters or go laser tagging or bowling somewhere else

Main Event is tolerable if you strictly stick to the games and activities. They always have specials and coupons.Avoid the dining experience. The servers are inexperienced, rude to customers and spend their work time laughing with one another and on their cell phones. The simplest of order causes mass confusion for their service staff. The incident that really set me off was a waitress bringing her 4 small kids to sit in a booth behind ours while she was on shift. Being kids with no supervision, they were all over the place and loud. The waitress dissapeared for a long time and her poor toddler son bumped his head on the table. Me and the women at our table consoled him until she decided to return. The manager gave us $20 play cards for compensation for babysitting.

I give them 2.5 stars for laser tag and arcade. I liked them at first because it was brighter than dave and buster. Until I had to wait for 1.5 hr for bowling and when Looked at my receipt at home, realized they had charged me for shoes despite bringing my own shoes. At the bowling alley, we had to call 4 servers before they can even get a server to serve us (the one I asked was not doing anything in particular but refused to take our orders) and by the time the food came (which does not look like the menu picture) an hour later, we were almost done with the bowling. And mind you my wine came last (Aka 1.5 hr later). How hard is it to pour wine into a glass and serve it within 20 min of order?

Nice place for birthday party. Kids had lot of fun but borderline chaotic. Wish party hosts were more enthusiastic and creating a fun atmosphere and provide more guided experience. At least at Pump it up party hosts were more enthusiastic.

My son was invited to birthday party at the main event Columbia. We had a ball!! Both a place for adults and children so its alot of action in the whole establishment so make sure to keep a close eye on your children. Great entertainment venue. Bowling lanes are great, pool tables are nice, video games are top-notch, and the food is good. I wish the music selection was a bit more reflective of the diverse customer demographic.

This is a great place for kids and adults to bowl and play games. We went with a group and they ended up giving us a lane and a game of laser tag for free, and were generally very accommodating and helpful, exceptional customer service. Parking at the Columbia Mall can be a pain depending on when you go, but its not a big deal if youre okay with walking. Close to tons of dinner options and shopping. Great atmosphere - energetic without being out of control and nicely divided so that you dont feel like youre in the middle of other groups.

Its like D&B, but better, less expensive, and with more games for younger kids. There are plenty of games for older kids (adult kids too) plus laser tag, bowling, pool, etc. My children were there for a birthday party, and all three of them (ages 2 - 7) had a great time.

Brought our son an friends here for his birthday! They wanted to play lazer tag. My husband an I got the unlimited till 5 p.m to bowl. After bowling for an hour an asking for our next hour we were told there would be a 3.5 hour wait to bowl again. My husband asked to speak to a manager. The manager said he would give coupons to come back, but no refunds can be done.

The place is great for bowling, laser tag, pool, and the arcade. The food is not fantastic - pretty glad I ate before I went. But super clean, well run establishment!

I went to Main Event in Colombia with my grandkids to have a entertaining day. I paid almost one hundred dollars for a package so they could really enjoy themselves that included bowling. We were told we could not bowl because it was reserved for a party. Never was told about the party reservations before paying. My grandkids never got to bowl. I didnt get any of my money back this place is a money grabbing joke

So its ok. We have gone there twice. We go for a dinner and some games. The food isnt bad but the wait is a wait. The staff at the restaurant are pretty nice. We dont go during busy times so keep in mind were probably get low staff. Wings were pretty decent. A pretty decent selection for games.

Great location right in the mall. My kids had their birthday there and they had a blast. Bowling, laser tag, arcade...lots of fun. When your kids have outgrown the Chuck E. Cheese and not yet ready for Dave & Busters, this is a good place to go.

21st century virtual games. Tried to play all of them. Food at the restaurant made the day complete. Will definitely be back.

The venue itself is really great! There is every possible indoor activity you can think of. The reason it gets a 3 star is because of the service. My company recently hosted a Christmas party there for 50ish people. There was only one server so it took forever to get anything. The food was just ok. They forgot to put out silverware and knives and when asked the server just gave me a pile of napkins like I was supposed to be handing them out. It was also very loud so if you are planning for give any type of anouncement or speech you will need to bring a mic. If the service was tightened up it would be a great place for a company party.
