If you move here, expect to get slumlorded. I moved in years ago when the economy was in the dumps. Back then it was a relatively laid back place where everybody mostly got along without many problems. Then the new management took over. You know what that means. It means that even though they arent taking care of the various services that theyre obligated to on the land, they will go out of their way to hassle you over petty little rule violations like building a beautiful scenic fire pit, while they themselves are building trailers too close together in violation of fire codes just to make an extra buck for example. So while they cant even keep the streets properly plowed in the winter time to keep the elderly from falling down and breaking a hip, thanks to a sweetheart deal with the local mafia; (Literally, doesnt anyone pay attention to the news?) they instead focus their precious time and resources running out to your car in order to check the license plate so that they can call the other mafia theyre in cahoots with to come steal your vehicle. And like I said, despite failing to maintain the various services that the park is responsible for; this hasnt stopped them from raising the rent at least 4 times in the last 4 years. And thats for a place I was considering moving away from 4 years ago because I didnt consider it to be worth it since they werent keeping up their end of the bargain. And that was when it was nearly $400 a month cheaper. And when I say that management is petty, I mean its petty. Its unprofessional and probably illegal. Expect high school drama type petty. Where it isnt about the rules or whats right and wrong. Where its about whose buddy buddy with the female manager in their sick little popularity contest social game. If you grew out of that type of behavior and drama years ago and the thought of living around people like that makes you sick, dont move here.
Nice mobile home park...my brother and sister-in-law live in a new mobile home since October 2018...very nice home
The speed limit is 5 and the park owner has no problem letting you know if you go over that, the lot is super small and not taken care of at all, holes everywhere. I dont live here, a friend does, but I dread having to drive through here because of all the potholes.
I bought a home that was built in 1973, lived in it for 4 years, the park manager would not help with anything! I was told to replace the skirting and when I started taking it off the blocks it was on were crumbling and there was trash all under it. The water pipes were old corroded galvanized steel! The farm next to it had a well that leaked and the water gushed out of the ground under my bedroom! The manager would not do anything till I had a judge order a drain to be made which didn’t even work. I got married, told the manager we were moving out and I was told I could not sell it and I either had to remove it or sign it over to the manager! Worse 4 years of my life living there, would not recommend anyone to buy there! Not to mention it’s located next to a huge land fill! I had to give one star or I would not have gave any!
Trailers are too close together. It is difficult to locate trailer numbers for deliveries. On the upside if you live here and have children, it is one of the cheapest ways to get them in Solon area schools.
Its a sweet little community there is a couple of things that arent the best but ones you look passed that you see what it really is a great place were total strangers help others like family.
Lived here for over a decade. I can honestly say I am ashamed of how the current manager”does her job”. I personally been verbally threatened by her. Obvious drug and dealing activity taking place. That SHE is aware of and does nothing about. Been pushed and shoved by her. The overall quality of the roads in here are terrible. They are still putting in gas lines for heat that should have been done two years ago. Any time I ask for help from the manager she goes on and says that isn’t her job description. Well, if you are the manager of some place anywhere it doesn’t matter. You have to manage and take care of all of your tendency’s. I highly don’t recommend living here at all especially if you don’t want to b harassed once a month. And being threatened by said manager that is going to throw a brick through my window. Roads are a pothole mess always have been. Plus you get great views of a Landfill. Save your money and look for someplace nicer. Take my advice a tendent living here for over 10 years, and we deal with nothing but harassment on a Daily basis.Highly Do Not Recommend
Great place to live and within a wonderful school district of Solon,Ohio! Newer homes have come in and it looks great. Management is very helpful.
I moved out willingly with my son at the end of November 2018. I have been waiting for the moment to post this review. Yesterday my son and I were in Glenwillow and decided to drive past the home I raised him in since he was a small child. The Park Manager, Arleen Callahan (who was exiting this pathetic excuse for a place to exist) immediately decided to follow us instead. We did not even stop or exit our vehicle. She had her son in her vehicle with her. Poor kid! She sped up to my son’s car, pointing and screaming out of her window like a crazy, insane lunatic (she IS)... “You WILL BE ARRESTED!” (We weren’t, of course... we never have been.) She enjoys calling who she refers to as the Glenwillow “Po-Po” (Police) on the residents of the mobile home park. As I was packing for my much-enjoyed departure, not even leaving my residence, she kept trying to pull me into Cuyahoga County Court for stalking her. I spoke numerous times with the Honorable Judge’s Assistant, Mr. Nathan Cott. He advised me that under no circumstances would she get her “stalking order”, the court did not appreciate her wasting its time and resources, and to simply avoid service. I was advised just to stay away from her. What Ms. Callahan doesn’t realize is that she is in violation. Protection Orders work both ways. Both Respondents must stay away from each other. In addition, placing mail in people’s mailbox is a Federal crime. Stealing people’s mail will send one to prison for many long years. I do wish I could post video and photographs of my encounter with utter insanity. The Glenwillow Police Department is corrupt, as well. The Glenwillow Mobile Home Park is riddled with drugs (marijuana, cocaine, crack, methamphetamine, heroine). As a concerned resident, I was told to deal with it myself. She destroyed upgrades I made to my home, would not get off of my porch when asked to do so, left a hole under my mobile home (which she then told me to jump into and die), threatened to throw cement blocks through my kitchen windows, left dead snakes and dead baby skunks in the road for me to pick up (asking me if they were DINNER), unplugged a washing machine in the laundromat when I was washing a bed comforter (then called the police on ME), ruined $1500 worth of brand new skirting and doors, made me scrub the entire exterior of my mobile home with Dawn Dish Soap with SOS pads and a kitchen scrub brush with one day’s notice or face eviction. She is a tyrant. The roads have potholes. The mobile homes are falling apart. The playground has picnic tables that are rotted. The trees are dying. The Mobile Home Park is next to a garbage dump—Waste Management. Find anywhere else to live. RUN!!!! One star only because I HAD to...Michelle L. Rusnak

This is the best little secret of Solon, Great School District. Solon. Very Family Friendly and Affordable.
Old trailers from 60s70s 80s they had a couple of double wide. Over priced rentals.
I was looking at a trailer on this property. I opted not to rent from this place due to the parking situation its just a catastrophic nightmare waiting to happen!
