I LOVE this park, this is the place where I have played baseball at for my entire childhood. The fields are always in pristine condition when it comes to game time. When it’s a rainy day, the park does it’s best to make the fields dry enough to play on by filling wet spots with dry sand. The playground here is very fun and I used to play in it when I was younger and it was so much fun. Overall, this park is amazing and it will always hold a special place in my heart, I recommend this place to anyone, looking for a youth baseball league, or just taking their kids here to have some fun!

Such a nice park. Ive used their pool, tennis courts, dog park, and their fitness membership, along with just walking around the park. Their pool is very clean and very well supervised. Tennis courts can get real busy real fast, so finding time for it to be open is difficult but still fun to go to. Dog park was good, for the most part people are really responsible with cleaning up after their dogs. And in general, the park is really lovely. Its a beautiful space. I would take my cat around the park (not the dog area) and hed love it too.

Hamlin Park is a great park. It play area for kids is full of fun things to do. It has lots of safe and fun equipment for them to use. They also have some baseball fields and a large out door swimming pool. In the summer they also host family activities that everyone can enjoy. They also have a field house and host summer camps for kids. It is kept clean and the people are friendly. I strongly believe that it is a great place for everyone to enjoy.

Went here with me and a few cousins, just goofing off and such. It was honestly a good time, as we continued to play one of my little cousins had to use the bathroom and couldn’t use the community bathroom so his older sister insisted she’d take him so i came a long just in case considering it was late at night in Chicago. We told our other cousins to come with considering it would be better and we could just come back once he was done. They insisted they’d stay. Thinking back to it, it probably wasn’t the best idea considering they were a little younger than us. Anyways me, and my two other cousins went back home to take my younger cousin to the bathroom. We had just exited the park when suddenly they both came running back at us. We had asked what had happened and as they told me we started getting a little confused. What he told me was that once we had left a very strange unusual man had entered the park, they haven’t thought too much of it until the man had started staring at them, after a couple seconds the man had just kept staring them down with a very angered face expression as if they did something. meanwhile all the happened the man slowly started walking towards them power walk style. Once my cousins knew what was going on they quickly hopped off the swings and insisted that they would have a “Race” only to have just ran away from the man. They came out of breathe and they looked and sounded completely terrified, but not a normal terrified look. It was as if he had some Military Flashbacks of some sorts as if he had seen some stuff. So me and the other cousin who took her little brother to the bathroom decided to go and check it out back at the park, they described the man as very muscular and stood tall as if he worked out. We walked back at the park where we stood originally. And as we thought we would see.we saw nothing. the man either was on something, or was planning to do something real bad. Thankfully nothing had happened that day except that experience. Although i saw nothing happen, i’ll never forget the look on my cousins face when he came back running.Anyways the park had little to offer and wasn’t that good 3 stars.

Very nice park with recently updated playground equipment. The baseball fields are in immaculate condition but are very hard to get on because they are always be used by the little league or softball teams. The fieldhouse is large with two different basketball courts. There is a workout room that has plenty of weights and exercise machines for all. There is a large locker room that leads to the outdoor pool. The pool are is pretty large for Chicago neighborhood park but the pool itself is not very large and it gets very crowded during summer. There is also camps during summer which restrict the use of the pool during weekdays.

Great list of amenities that will fit almost everyones needs. Not the best fitness center for those trying to move some serious weight, but it is passable for most people. They also have several tennis courts, basketball courts (both indoors and out), baseball diamonds, playground, outdoor pool (open labor day to memorial day), a phenomenal boxing gym with a well respected coach on the golden gloves circuit, ample meeting spaces, and an auditorium.

This is our neighborhood park. I know it well. The new playground equipment at the kids park is outstanding. We have the only double decker tree-house slide in a city park that I know of. Thank you so much to Jody Boutell for raising the money to make it happen. Aside from the kids area, the park has historic and well groomed baseball fields that buzz with life all weekend, filled with little league players. A huge pool with lots of deck space make it a hang out for huge numbers of people looking to chill out in the summer. This park anchors our little neighborhood. I love it!
