We did a ghost pub crawl with Daniel in Charleston and loved it! We visited 4 bars and heard interesting stories along the way. Daniel was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. A great way to learn more about the city! We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

We loved the pub tour! We all moved to the area this year so getting to learn more about the area and explore some of the bars with a guide was a great experience. My fiance and his friend loved hearing about the history of the area and the pirate stories were my favorite!

A great and fun way to learn a little history and enjoy the wonderful city of Charleston South Carolina. Daniel was a great host and guide and made good recommendations for drinks.

Dan was a great host and had some really fun facts about the area. The local bars used in Folly Beach were perfect settings for the tour. Lots of history and a perfect amount of booze. Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend the folly Beach tour.

TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT BOOK!!! This company doesnt even deserve a one star! We booked a tour in May and they canceled at 10p the night before. It was for a birthday celebration so that was kind of inconvenient. When we finally got our money back weeks later they gave us free tickets for another tour. It took a month to finally get that scheduled because they would never respond. I got a confirmation text that we were booked for November 17th and we were all set. The day finally came and 6 of us were there waiting and they never showed. Another couple that wasnt part of our group had also paid and were NO SHOWED!! After multiple text, email and phone calls we still have yet to hear from Daniel and I suspect we never will. Save yourself the hassle and book with one of the other companies in the area!

Totally worth every penny. I had a group of 10 and we got to see a lot of Charleston that we would not have gone out of our way to see any other way. The best part was walking into 4-5 different bars that we hadnt ever been before on a busy night and having a reservation. The historical part was awesome too! I plan on taking my family on this tour in the future. Daniel was the man!!

I went with my sister, Mom and boyfriend! Had a blast! I loved learning about Charleston’s history. Daniel, our tour guide was wonderful. The pirate stories were my favorite. You will enjoy your tour for sure.

What a charming, delightfully fun tour! Dane was our guide, and he nailed it. He was smart, witty, relaxed, and confident, and gave loads of Charleston history about the pubs we visited, and the city itself. He answered tons of questions, and gave great recommendations on local craft beer. One of the most special parts of this tour is how 12 random strangers come together, from all over the country, share a big table, listen, learn, and chat....and end up friends, 3 hours later. Love The Original Pub Tours of Charleston, with their comfortable, come-as-you-are attitude. I highly recommend this tour, along with a taxi phone number, or designated driver, tucked into you back pocket...;)

Good atmosphere, fast service

If I could give this no stars I would! If you are looking for a tour guide that is more interested in watching the TV than giving a tour... then this is the tour for you! All the credit card machines were down (definitely not Daniels fault). Rescheduled for the next day and didnt want to go as the prior day was not what I had expected. My husband and I have contacted Daniel via emails, calls and texting with no response. Tried emailing the emails on the website they dont work! Isnt that weird? There is absolutely no way of getting ahold of this company. Do a ghost tour or bus ride... youll get a lot more information about Charleston and youll have a guide whos actually interested in being there!

Great walking tour / pub crawl. Well worth the $29 price tag - Daniel was our guide and was very well informed about not only the history/lore of the city but of the pubs we visited as well. A good mix of historical pubs and newer trendy ones as well. We werent rushed in and out like I have been on some food tours/we spent an adequate amount of time at each pub and could enjoy our drinks before moving on. Our group was small enough to get to enjoy some conversation with new people as well. Would highly recommend!

We had the BEST time on our pub crawl with Brian!! He was so much fun and took us to the best places. He also gave us a lot of interesting history of the city and was patient with us the entire night (even at the end when we were super annoying!) Thank you!! We will definitely do another!!

Request Brian...we had the absolute best time. He was so much fun and flexible. Seriously one of the best things I did in Charleston. :) FYI: he also is great at taking pictures. We have some great memories that he captured that will last a lifetime.

Such a fun time to walk around to different bars and hear the history. It was $30 BUT you got food at each stop which was well worth it.Our tour guide Brian was fun and easy to chat with. Very knowledgeable about places and filled us in on gaps we didnt know about Charleston. Highly recommend. Just make sure you keep it small groups. I really do think any more than eight would be too much.Good job. Thank you!

Had the best time. Would recommend to a friend. Scott was excellent. We learned about Charlestons history and had a great evening with someone who made it fun and comfortable. Truly an unforgettable experience. A must do. We dont do tours often but this we would do again!!!

My husband and I planned a trip to Charleston and a friend recommended the tour. It was the best thing we did all weekend. Our guide Noah was awesome. He gave us the history of Charleston, showed us neat things around the waterfront, and had lots of fun stories to share. He was a great person to get to know and it turned out being a private tour just for us. On top of that, all of the bars had something different to offer. We didnt realize we would get free apps and a drink at some of the places! We had a blast and will pass on the recommendion to our friends who visit. Thank you!

I cannot express how bad this tour was. It was pretty much two hours of the tour guide hitting on my girlfriend.. to the point that I felt like I was on a prank TV show. Daniel was our tour guide, insanely inappropriate and unprofessional.

I had an absolute blast on the Holiday Pub Crawl! Our tour guide, Kobi was fantastic and filled the tour with tons of interesting history of Charleston. Loved it!

Daniel, our tour guide, was very good. He mixed in lots of history with interesting stories, anecdotes, and jokes. We went to Tommy Condons, Craftsmen Tap House, The Griffon, and Blind Tiger Pub. All were very good, offering mixed drinks and excellent beers. We also took the tour 2 1/2 years ago, and that time we went to Carmellas and a great rooftop bar.

Went with the girls from my office and we had a blast! Kobi was an awesome guide! Ive lived here for a long time and learned lots of things I didnt know about Charleston. The other folks on the tour with us were fun too. Will definitely do it again!

Our tour guide (Charles I believe) was so into history we only got to three pubs, and only one with food. Its not a pub tour, it was a boring history lesson that did not play to the group. Waste of money if you get the same tour guide. We paid $25 each, and got one free appetizer, which was delish and the Irish Pub was outstanding, great server, fast and courteous. Would have cost a whole lot less to just walk ourselves around.

We did the haunted pub tour last night and it was not at all what we expected based on the description. The tour was supposed to last from 7:00-9:30 - but at 10, still not finished and at that point had heard only 2 ghost stories. The tour guide may know his history of Charleston, but he is not a storyteller and did not do a good job with the ghost stories. Also, of the three pubs we visited, only one was supposedly haunted. This was a complete waste of money and we will not be doing a tour with this company again. We thoroughly enjoyed a Boos & Brews tour in Savannah over the summer, and expected a similar level of professionalism and storytelling. We were sorely disappointed.

I had an excellent time on the tour. We went to 5 or 6 Pubs and had 2 appetizers. The guide was very informative and enjoyable. I would suggest this tour to a friend.
