Loved the experience. Trisha knows her history. But even better, she is passionate about it! After the tour was over, she was so willing to keep talking with us. Wish we could have spent more time with her. Hopefully she grows her business. Its refreshing to see someone so passionate about their profession.

Where to begin.... Ill start with the positive, Tricia was really good to work with, great communicator with email and even gave us a call when we were almost late.Things started to go downhill when the tour started. First of all, this tour was extremely short, granted it was only a 1 hour tour, but it was maybe 3 blocks tops. We stopped in front of a church, a parking garage and looked at a photo of a ghost that Im about 99% sure was a security guard or photoshopped. It was so bad when she showed us, the guy next to me let out a small laugh and then we realized that she was being dead serious. The ghost had no story whatsoever which makes sense since it was probably just a guy. We stopped in front of the powder keg, a graveyard that we couldnt even go into, but watched as another very large tour group walked through. Tricia told us the story of the 1861 fire which hit the churchyard. And melted the gravestones like wax which is why the gravestones are difficult to read. While Im not an expert, I believe that happens naturally over the years in a process called weathering. The last stop was the Mills House where Tricia showed us photos that could pass as Robert E Lee or any other guy with a beard. The most disappointing part of the tour was it didnt really talk about the local ghost stories and legends just a few of the ghosts at those sights with little back story and mostly Tricias own personal experiences. Which dont get me wrong, are fun and add some interest in the tour, but I was hoping to hear more about the local ghost stories and legends. We didnt see anything paranormal on the tour, which to me isnt a big deal, its not like you have control over that anyway. But all I wanted was to learn some of the local legends and ghost stories and we didnt even get that.I will say that my husband absolutely enjoyed himself. While he believed in ghosts prior to the tour, hes unsure now. But he had a fantastic time, laughed on our walk home for 2 solid blocks, no intoxication required.Long story short, this tour may not meet your expectations. However, I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it was very entertaining. Probably not worth the money, but my husband disagrees.

Tricia was an amazing tour guide! She was very informative and I felt like I learned a lot about the city and the ghosts the inhabit it. She was very personable and her stories are so much better and more intimate than many of the other tours I’ve been on. She was also very conscious of COVID safety protocols. Definitely a must do tour!

Did not like the tour because of the side stories of who she knew and the covid issues she kept expressing. She also talked down other tours and their practices. It took away from the spooky effect I was looking for. I edited this review twice because I didnt want to be mean, but I really truly didnt like it. Tickets were purchased under my friends name. I love how my reply was greeted with you think its the wrong tour. It is not. Maybe you should go on the tour with her yourself or plant a mole and see how horrible it is and the other peoples reactions. We werent the only ones thinking it was rediculous. Check yourself.

We will never use this service again. We were reserved a week in advance to take this tour. Seeing how it was Halloween we had our evening planned. While we were getting ready to leave, the service texted to ask if we could change our time from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It was an inconvience, but we agreed as it was too late to reserve with another service. We rearranged our evening and delayed our departure. I recieved a confirmation at 7 for the 7 oclock tour. I am sure an oversight on their part. But, very confusing. We sat in the bar for a long time to be able to take the tour.As we were waiting for the tour, a young couple ask if they were full. The guide said, no, but stay around and if someone cancels, we will let you in.My compaininion had a little reaction to dinner. He had a mild cough for a second. We were full mask. He had no temperature. I told the guide he had just had a negative COVID TEST.She did not ask us to leave. We left on our own as we did not want to make people feel uncomfortable. She immediately, sought out the other couple.I feel the entire event was very poorly handled.

The 10:00 PM tour dosent seem to last as long as I was told the earlier 2 tours do. The guide thinks shes the only one that knows anything about any of the ghosts on the tour. It was the point in my BIRTHDAY weekend that RUINED my entire trip. I feel like my $73.14 for 3 people was completely wasted. August 14th 2020 will always be the birthday trip that a wannabe tour guide ruined. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

We met at Tommy Condons then walked to three locations within 3 blocks or less. We stood outside a grave yard then went to a parking lot to look at a parking garage and then to stand outside a hotel. Each stop involved looking at what appear to be photo shop photos. Serious waste of money.

Tricia was a wonderful tour guide. Ive been on many ghost walks in the past and this tour was the best one by far! She had pictures she showed that was breathtaking. If you arent a believer in ghost than by the end of the tour you will become one. On the walk we experienced paranormal activity and also gained knowledge about some of the history of the city. Definitely a memorable experience and highly recommend you check this out..

This was a great tour! I went with my friends and not only were Tricias stories fascinating, but she made them come alive with her dramatic inflection, and as one who grew up and spent her life as a local in the area. The folklore was also a unique touch and I loved hearing the more about the history of the city as well. Would definitely recommend.

This tour was really good. I love stories and the fact that she had first hand experiences, townspeople’s stories and a little bit of folklore to boot. She was an absolute delight. I would certainly book with her again and even try one of her daytime historical tours. She knows so much about the city and it’s amazing.

Tricia was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Ghostwalk was intimate, and we learned a lot more about the city of Charleston. Although we didn’t have any big encounters the night I went out, Tricia came prepared with awesome photos of apparitions, orbs and rods to accompany her stories. And after looking back through the photos we took, we noticed a rod darting through a photo of the cemetery we took. Overall awesome experience!

I dont know whether to rate this as 1 star or 5 stars, so Im going to split the difference with 3.On the negative side, the walk is really short, is mostly about Tricias personal experiences, and contains a lot of wrong historical information (for instance, she told us Robert E Lee was in Charleston when the Hunley sank). On the plus side, she is completely crazy, genuinely believes the insane stuff shes saying and was overall really funny. If youre looking for a ghost tour that will teach you history, dont go. But if you believe in ghosts and want a good story, this would be right up your alley. And if, like me, you dont believe in ghosts but are kind of drunk and would be entertained by someone showing you smudgy pictures that vaguely resemble Robert E Lee, you should definitely go. I had a blast!

Trish is very knowledgeable and she knows Charleston history very well. She does excellent job of bringing the history of Charleston as well as the lives of its famous citizens of the past (and sometimes ghosts) come to life. Several of my friends also did the tour and after doing other tours in other cities I can honestly say Trish is the best by far. Anyone who wants to experience a great walking tour where you might be caught this mist and orbs will truly be impressed! If you want a great Ghost Tour with a Great Guide make sure you experience Ghost Walk with Trish.

Our family have taken 4 different Ghost walk tours and this tour by Tricia is diffidently, the most fascinating and informative. Tricia is a treasure trove of information. She was born and raised in Charles Town and knows almost all of its secrets. Her personality is vibrant and sparkly and will captivate you with the history of Charles Town. If you miss this tour you will have missed a important part of Charles Town. Thank you Tricia for a fantastic glimpse of Charles Town at night.

Took this tour with Patricia Goron this past Saturday night. Had 6 other friends with us, as she can take a group of 20. She did a great job of explaining the history of the city, as well as the ghostly haunts we visited. Everyone involved had a great time, and especially enjoyed her Gullah speech at the circular church. I highly recommend taking a ghost tour with her, as she is the Best in the city. Fantastic experience!

Terrible tour. We desperately tried to book a ghost tour with a company last minute on the Third of July, and were excited after many phone calls and news of booked out tours to hear there was one with 5 spots available last minute. Based on reviews and seeing Ghost Walk is the oldest of its kind here in Charleston, we booked and were very excited. The first red flag was the meeting spot. We met in front of a bar and here is Trisha our guide sitting with a cheap sign waiting for us and another group. This woman is actually crazy. We arrived early just as she insisted we do (9:45 for a 10:00 tour) and had to wait until 10:10 for the other group. Second red flag, a friend and I went into the bar for a glass of water, and here is Trisha taking a shot of what appeared to be whiskey or rum, and she insisted it was Red Bull. She quickly scurried out to continue waiting for the other group and avoided talking about it.On the phone she generously offered $2 off per person if we paid cash, so we paid $23 per person. She took our money and I noticed there was no carriage. On the phone I asked what kind of tour was available and was told it was a carriage ride and walking and that we would be able to walk through the graveyards. After paying, we asked and she insisted she never said there was a carriage. During the actualtour we stood away from each site listening to her ramblings for too long. She often repeated herself an unnecessary amount of times and the historical ghost tour that claims to be the best of its kind turned out to really just be the best joke of a ghost tour I have ever experienced. Bull Dog Tours is better, this definitely was a waste of time and money.

Trisha was raised in Charleston and she knows history of the town like the back of her hand! She also knows the locals. Because of this she has conversations, hears the gossip, and is on the up and up with all the ghost sightings. We watched some tour guides tell ghost stories from their tablets. Not Trish! She has authentic information with pictures, details and names of ghosts. We had so much fun with her! And, if none of it happened to be true, she is an excellent story teller to say the least. I would do this tour again if I make it to Charleston with the rest of my family.

Our experience was very confusing since we were told over the phone that the tour was going to be half carriage and half walking, also saying that the tour would take us through the actual sites. Unfortunately we met outside of Tommy Condons and were told there was no carriage. Also after asking wheather we would tour the graveyards we were told that we would have to pay $30 to go in the graveyard, which was not mentioned over the phone when she made it sound like that was included with the $23 we paid. While on the tour it was very interesting, we were told the stories and showed pictures, but we didnt actually get to explore any of the sites mentioned. Sure it was a cool experience, and the tour guide definitely made it more interesting than any other guide could have, but I definitely feel like I did not get the experience I was looking forward to. It certainly wasnt worth the money I paid.
