I had a recent vacation in cedar city Utah. Many little hidden gems in the southern part of this state. If you like to go cycling, check out the virgin river bike trail in St. George. In cedar city, check out the east bend, and coal Creek bike trails. If you ride coal Creek, you have got to stop and see the veteran memorials (WWI, WWII, Korean, and Vietnam wars) they are awesome. Words, or pictures can not describe the feeling you get standing in that solemn place.

A nice memorial that Cedar City has to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. As a veteran myself and my late dad being a Vietnam Vet as well. It was personal.

Very respectful and peaceful place. This memorial is a fitting tribute to those who have and do serve our great country. I spent a lot of time there reading, pondering, and reflecting. We owe so much to those who serve, and especially to those who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms. Thank you.

This is a great piece of local and world history. The park is peaceful and informational. There is a walking path through it next to a stream that is quite nice and relatively few pedestrians. My dog loves to walk the path.
