Great hike in the middle of town. This is not a really long trail but worth checking out. Great for hiking or biking, beauty super close by.

This place has amazing trails. Not a lot of miles of trials yet... But sounds like 50 miles in the works. The lightning switch trail is pretty steep and has a lot of very tight switchbacks. More light colored (whitish) dirt on the lightning side of the canyon, red dirt and red Rock in the Thors side. Great views throughout the trails. Trails are upper intermediate to advanced (for biking).

Lots of good trails start here! We did ghost flats. It was a lot of steep climbing through deep mud, but it was way fun! I would recommend exploring all of the trails there, many of them arent listed online

Beautiful scenery, and a well-done disc golf course. Not too hot in the evenings either with the cliff shade.

A great place for Disk Golf. The hiking is more free-range then an exact path, but still ultimately quite fun.

Great trailhead with lots of trail options. Beautiful views of the valley below. The Google Map directions do NOT get you to the right place. Correct directions:Head north on Main Street from Center Street. Turn east (right) on 900 North. Follow the signs for Thunderbird Gardens Trailhead. Its a rough dirt road.

There are multiple hikes ranging from easy to expert. The landscape is beautiful and varied. Even in the winter many of the paths are passable if you take a little care and planning. The contrast of snow and red rocks is wonderful!

Thors Hideout was a great hike for my family. Go early in the day because there is not much shade during the hot part of the day. They need to update the map as the one there is pretty faded.

The gardens are beautiful this time of year. There is about a foot of snow up there now. I when for a night ride on my mountain bike. It was tough going with 2.6in tires, a fat bike would have been a blast. In the late spring and summer/fall the trails are a hoot to shred.

Fun area to explore. Lots of trails, but they are poorly marked. You wont get lost in the mountains, but you might not get where you thought you were going! Perfect for an easy adventure. Love that its so close to town but secluded.

The running trail system in Iron County is a wonder waiting to be discovered. With trails stretching from the South end of town to the North and a myriad of majestic and technical trails at Three Peaks, I cannot wait to see what is coming next!

Thunderbird Gardens is a fun clothes little place to mess around. There are places for bonfires or mountain biking and hiking trails. Be careful in the mud holes though it is very easy to get stuck.
