Very pretty park. It has been quiet everytime I go and plenty of privacy to be alone or go on dates. Also has a nice trail to a waterfall!
So beautiful! Highly recommended for walks and jogs... Nice bathroom and plenty of water fountains.
I go there for the candlelight meeting in the park for NA. From 8pm-9pm.its cold but the atmosphere is great.
Its beautiful, theres a lovely trail going up the canyon a bit thats paved so you can just take a leisurely stroll, theres a little creek in the middle, a playground, and a pavilion. So uh its dope and you should go.
Well maintained park. Beautiful stream beside it.
Nice and fun place to spend with family. Has a creek on the side so you can get wet as well. Good option. When its hot.
Great big shade trees, picnic tables, play ground, lots of grass and restrooms.. great park.
Its a nice little park. I only gave it a 4-star review because there is a river near it and it is annoying to keep little kids from going near it.
Lots of shade, fun playground. Picnic tables my kids loved it
Love this park.... better check it out.
Beautiful park immaculate restrooms well maintained grounds, walking and biking paths
Its a great park, very beautiful. A great place for the kids to play.
I’ve been here many times for picnics, dates, walks etc. It’s such an amazing place. It’s always kept very neat and everyone is always friendly and polite.!
Wonderful experience but narrow roads. The family enjoyed this so much.
One of my favorite parks! Clean, can always find parking, grass is beautifully maintained, love the creek running down the center of it, dogs love it, safe, clean bathrooms, beautiful Mountain View, along with walking/biking trail that leads u up into Cedar Mountain - good for exercise with a pretty view. Wish the bathrooms weren’t locked so early at night, though.
It is a wonderful place for families, going on a bike ride, and finding shade.
Great evening walk with kids (human and fur)
Quiet, clean, nice park. Easy access
Beautiful park with a biking/walking bath along the creek.
Awesome Park! Swing set, pavilion with tables, public grills and volleyball pits.
I going there today and will add pics. a steam rolls quietly down the middle of this family park.
Decent, people should really pick up after there pets, bathrooms could be clear and stocked up
I love this park so peacefully
Beautiful place for a walk.
Small park, fun to sit and read, relax
Beautiful park near the mouth of Cedar Canyon. Coal Creek trail and East Bench trail converge here.
It is a popular choice for the kids because of the playground equipment, however if you have small children you will have to really keep an eye on them due to a fast running stream of water that runs through the park during late spring and most of the summer it is at higher runoff and is a hazard. Also on holidays the picnic pavilions and tables throughout the park are usually very busy, but at must other times it is generally quiet and available.
Oh, my word. I love and adore this place, the trails, the candy colored striped mountains, the scenery, the clean air, the wonderful creek...whats not to love about this place? It forever holds a special place in my heart and memories.
Good place to have a hike
OK for my pet, outstanding for both of us. Bring your pet responsibly and well enjoy into the future. Pick it up, leash and avoid conflicts and well continue to be welcome. The park after all is for the entire community.
This is a park that youll always find people. It is spread out enough though to find your own little patch to hang out. There are a few playground areas for kids. A sand volleyball court and decent trail to hike up. If you choose the hike youll find bridges and man made waterfalls. In the summer youll find lizards basking. In the spring and fall there are plenty of birds flying around.
Quiet at night for the most part.
I remember when this playground first opened! The grassy area to roam is wonderful, and the playground is great! Plus, if you love to play in the water at Canyon Creek, you can just walk through the trees on the bank and enjoy it!!
Love this beautiful park. Lovely for a picnic. Tea party. Caution because the stream is nice but just down the hill is a river that is pretty full this year and might be dangerous for unattended kids or pets.
Kids love this park! Come ready to get wet. There is a wonderful little stream running though this side. Playground up the hill is great, and so is the pavilion. This park also has bathrooms as well.
Cute park. Nice little creek. Volleyball courts, running trails, playground, big grassy area. Really nice ittle park to go to.
A very well maintained, beautiful Park. With lots to offer for the whole family. Restrooms were clean and kept up. There is an excellent walking/biking trail through both sides of the park and well beyond in both directions. A wonderful little creek flows through the park alongside the trail and offers hours of play fun for the kids. One gazebo on the west side, a playground, volleyball net in a sand pit, and plenty of room to find and set up your own picnic area without feeling crowded. One of my favorite parks.
This really is a great park. It is always a pleasure to be there. It is always kept clean. It has a very nice pavilion and play set, volleyball court and of course the sweet sounds of running water from coal creek.
I love visiting the canyon park! So much fun with kids or just for a stroll.
Beautiful and lush, a great place for outdoor games, picnics, and playing in the water. I’ve even done photo shoots here.
Great parents with a stream the kids can play in. Has a pavilion which can be reserved, sand volleyball, playground, and a lot of grass and shade.
Canyon Park is cool and refreshing, a nice place to go for a stroll. The bile trail goes right through the west side, an awesome place to go for a walk, jog, or run.
This side of the park is technically called Canyon park, West side if you go to the Canyon park, East side its totally different it is accessed via Highway 14. Canyon Park, West Side is accessed from 400 East in a neighborhood its a little hidden Street that almost feels like youre going in someones driveway. This is how they are labeled on the signs. I wish Google could get stuff right!
Great place to relax and have lunch under the pavilion which is along a Creek and next to red rock. I would recommend this place if youre passing through the area.
Decent park with lots of room and the stream that runs through it is awesome
Nice park but I would use the restrooms elsewhere as they need a lot of help. Playground & picnic area were both nice, a few paths also take off from this location so its nice to park here and take a walk /hike.
Awesome park. If I lived around here my kids nd I would visit all the time..
Great neighborhood park. Large grass areas for sports, picnic tables, play ground. Great place to relax with the family.
We went for BBQ with the whole family. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play. There is a nice little creek that runs through it for entertainment as well. Very well kept with clean public bathrooms. There is a pavilion with plenty of shade and other tables throughout the park. The trail for going up the canyon starts at this park and there is a playground for the kids. In other words plenty to do.
Beautiful sharp contrast in colorful rock hills, water falls, and creeks were amazing to see on the way up the canyon. Just a Gorgeous drive.
It was fine for the first time there.
Its a great place to relax and enjoy the fresh air and go for a walk with the wife.
Its a wonderful park ... but make sure your aware theres two sides east & west there separated by a little creek that means theres two different entrances... its very quiet & very peaceful a wonderful place for a planned event
Lots of grass, and some nice shady trees. I wish they had some infant playground equipment, at least a bucket swing. Never too busy, and plenty of room to bring a dog and a hyper toddler!
We were married in this park! So beautiful. Great playground for kids too.
Very beautiful I love the outdoors I love to go hiking I love it all its pretty
One of my favorites, good and safe environment, pretty clean and there is fun for everyone
Its the best park in town by far. It has bathrooms, pavilions, and rivers and also has a hike you can go on.
More secluded from highway than East side of the park. Playground, safe Creek, pavilion, grass, shade, access to trail, gorgeous view of the canyon!
Nice park, play ground, pavilion, and open grass. Volleyball court is missing a net and the ground is dirt a d rocks. Beware of the river, a ball can easy fall of the cliff into it.
Really nice and beautiful as always and clean and you gotta love the big creek and the little creek that runs through both sides of the park
Good
Lovely green p. We love to play in the creek.
This is a clean, uniquely laid out park. Its a fun place to spend an afternoon with your family.
It is a good park to go play at or just to go there to relax
Very nice. Clean restrooms. Nice paved trail. Playground. Lots of grass pavillion
Fun park. Plenty of shade. A few benches. Bathrooms are open occasionally
Its the same park I remember as a child, but different and improved. Still love it here
This is the most beautiful and well cared for Park that Ive ever visited... There are many trails and gorgeous scenery
So beautiful.... Kids loved it too
It is very beautiful and a great place for families and friends to hang out.
Peaceful clean park, tiny stream most of the year, watch little ones after rain or snow melt!
Nice clean park with river running thru the middle of it. Beautiful
Beautiful! No place like it on earth.Very unique.
A great park with a playground and lots of Green Space. Coal creek runs through the park and divides this side of the park from the other Canyon park. For adventurers, you can wade in the creek after climbing down the embakment. This side of the park also features a trailhead that leads up Cedar Canyon.
Sweet park!
This park is a family favorite. There is a lot of trees for shade, a creek for cooling off in the heat, and a fun play ground for the kids. There is also a pavilion you can rent for a day for a small fee. You pay the fee at the city aquatic center. There is also a few small outdoor grills in areas around the park.
Not the best place to go with a bunch of little kids unaccustomed to heat.. busses are very full and run regularly but AC is not strong enough on the bus to keep little kids happy. Our camp site was amazing. My wife was able to select the spot via satellite image... very large and in a quiet part of the park yet close enough to bathrooms. Showers are pay to use.. be prepared for a quick $8 shower.
This park is, as always, so fun. I loved it growing up in Cedar. Now, 20 years later my kids love it when we visit.
Usually not too busy. Great place for a quiet picnic. Lovely stream running through the park. BBQ grills, a playground, pavilion, volleyball pit, and lovely trees are just a few features.
Cool and restful. Lots of paved trails.
Small road side stop. Very nice
This is a clean, friendly, peacful, and beautiful place!
Outstanding place for a family gathering the grandkids loved it. The steam through it was just what the kids loved
Awesome!
Nice park for kids and families. Clean and safe.
Its amazing love my walks!
