Half day, whole day, hot lap, shuttle lap, the options are endless. The purpose built trails of Iron Hills are truly the future of mountain biking. Hats off to the builders who pulled this off.Word on the street is that some MAJOR expansion is coming so it’s only going to get better!!!

We went off the beaten path to the unnamed and unfinished trail, it was beautiful and not difficult at all. Great to do with the kids. We plan on going back to try another trail further up, it is suppose to go to the lava rock fields from what we were told.Today was a nice day out, but I imagine on a more sunny day later in the summer it will be a lot hotter, there isnt much shade at all.

Iron Giants trail is so much fun. Jumps and some technical sections. The pop up fast on the down side, so watch it. Love the trail.

Nice little detour trail before heading out to Zion the next day, pretty easy hike but take water as it was still pretty hot.

Ride up lichen or shuttle from green lakes (expert from top of the C trail). We did almost all of these trails. Lava flow has some tricky rock sections and I would rate it advanced intermediate. Green lakes is intermediate. Iron giant is fun for all. My favorite might have been Highlands trail which I did as an up and back prior to riding down green lakes.

Wide variety of terrain to choose from. Boulder dash is very technical and difficult. And lichen it is pretty easy. There are alternatives in between. Excellent trails with well maintained facilities at the trailhead.

Super fun bike trail. Its not very long, but theyve done a good job with features (optional jumps, small drops, and berms). When I rode this the trail was fairly new and I still liked it. The rocks make it a little bumpy, so rocking this on a hard tail might rattle you some, but having a trail designated to one way bike traffic while hikers can still safely use the area is awesome. All trail systems should try to avoid unnecessary conflict between bikes and hikers like this trail does. Lots of cedar, loose rocks with hardpack dirt, and a moderate climb.

I was hiking with a group, we walked up the lava flow trail and down lichen it. It was a nice loop, 4.86 mi. It was steep going up, and easy coming down. Bikers were friendly and courteous. Nice moderate hike close to Cedar.

This trail need to be more obvious. Its got roads running through the trail and half the time you have to backtrack to make sure you are on the right trail. Kinda confusing and needs some trail work or guides. It does lead to an amazing view of some red Rock cliffs. Then when you look down you can see i15 and cedar.

The trails that you can access from this trailhead are fun and challenging. The parking lot is pretty large with a nice gravel surface. Additional parking is available on the road that goes to the trailhead. There is a kiosk with information about the trail system and a restroom.

This is not best described as a hiking area, although people do sometimes run or hike the trails. It IS a great mountain bike trail system. I dont recommend hiking it since the mixture of hikers and bikers is a safety hazard for everyone, and since there are great hiking trails in the surrounding area.

Had a great time here. Great trailbuilding by DMBTA and excellent switchbacks and cuts. A couple sharp rocks in the rock garden, but they were there doing maintenance since I went. Quick 1 hour loop up Lichen it and down Lava Flow
