Small park surrounding private boat basin surrounded by neighboring houses. No play area. Some places appropriate for fishing. The big attraction of this park is year-round occupancy of Manatees. I havent seen any so far even after multiple visits. I am told it is too cold to see them surface.

On my third time visiting this park I was able to see manatees. It was worth going back and back and back again.

Most of the park is closed they put up fences ground not safe. Went yesterday the manatees were playing all the other times lucky to see a snout break water went in the evening.

I finally got to see a manatee after two years being in bradenton. Really pretty area.

At the right time of year, its a great place to see manatees. Always birds and fish around. Nice to just sit and watch the water. The manatees are the coolest though!

We found this place when looking for an out of the way neighborhood to ride bikes while on vacation. We saw manatees the first year we came and have seen them every time since then. The water is typically murky so you dont always get the best photo ops. This year we saw a cow and calf heading in from Palma Sola Bay to the fresh water that comes down the creek. View from the bridge was very good.

This is a prime area in Manatee County to view manatees in their natural environment up close! Its rarely crowded. The sea wall is unstable, so until repaired, you have to stand back from the water a ways. Dont let that discourage you... The manatees are known to put on quite a show for you and at times there are literally DOZENS to watch.

Very pleasant little neighborhood park. Not very big, but it is well groomed and has benches, shade trees, and grassy lawns. There is a Porta potty but no real restroom. Scenic views of the pretty little harbor, where I saw manatees and parakeets, along with the ever-present seagulls and crows.

This is a little pocket park. Tiny, one bench to sit on, a pond of sorts that you dont swim in but you can net shiners sometimes. Theres a private docking area, but its private to the neighborhood pretty much. Like its in my deed for my property that I have rights to dock there, otherwise theres a waiting list I think. Your boat has to be small enough to get under the bridge too .People come to this little spot to see manatees sometimes, theyre passing through right now, saw some today, 10/21/18. As it gets cold they will end up at TECO in the power plant pools cause that water is warm in the winter.You can walk around the boat basin, usually some herons and egrets, pelicans, cormorants, maybe terns and gulls diving for fish. Some days more than others. I live very close so visit often. Yesterday there were quite a few Downy and Red-bellied woodpeckers, several Osprey, a Belted Kingfisher, a Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, and a Little Blue Heron too. If you just want to be quiet and sit, you will start to notice the wildlife. Little parking lot, for a few cars, trash can, sign about not feeding the manatees and no bathroom facilities.

Small hidden treasure

The wife and I come here all the time looking for Manatees. They are hit and miss, sometimes there are groups of them, sometimes only 1 or 2 and other times none to be found. But we are never disappointed, we love watching the pelicans dive bombing for fish and all of the other birds that frequent this place.

Quiet, fairly clean. The residents that live around are kinda stuck up and snooty. But this is a good place to see manatee.

Not much visibility in the water, pretty murky, only saw a few snouts! Very peaceful though! No bathrooms, but we saw a cool bird!

There are almost always manatee in the little lake area here! And its very beautiful. There are plenty of benches to sit on to have a picnic or just watch.
