The park is great. Equipment is in good shape and there is plenty of space for kids to run and play, ad well as a number of different courts (basketball, tennis, etc). The only downside is the proximity to 53rd. The traffic is busy, loud and very close to the play area.

Great park for kids,very shady they have a huge pool,basketball court. The only thing I didnt like was the very very bumpy potholes in the parking lot .

This is a very nice park that you can take your family to. The feeling of safe is important to all of us and I think that it needs to be a priority to Sarasota police department. Lets stop the craziness that goes on there. I wish it was not filled with alcoholics and drug dealers. People need places to take their kids out to and away from the normal of that neighborhood. Lets ban together and stop the nonsense.

Its a great place, but the pool should not be used competitively. The water is too hot, and they do not have a cooler. Great place for relaxing on a weekend, though.

My son loves it!!! Thats whats is important to me, not a fancy place is a place to chill out...

Pretty horrible being i have a 7 year old and i told him we would go swimming called asked if they were open they said yes they never said you have to Reserve your slotted time to swim so we went not knowing i was going to have to tell my kid he cant go swimming .Once you get there they tell you that you have to reserve 2 DAYS in advance so make sure u check your calendar cause if u get the idea to take your kid swimming to a pool that you pay to use you cant! Unless you plan it for sometime in the future hope it dont rain on the day your allowed to go!

Nice little park plenty of people picnic and have parties, lots of parking and shade. Only downside next to ST RD 70 a bit noisy from the traffic at times.

Its just the right size that you can keep an eye on the children at all times

I love this park mostly because of the shade the trees provide! We have been coming hear with our kids for years. Occasionally there are some questionable people wondering around, but that pretty much goes for anywhere in Bradenton.

Apparently my review was reported but I will state this again asked if I could take a shower because I was from Orlando and got stuck here was willing to pay the $2 just wanted to shower not swim and was told no. I dont know about any of yall but I would rather have a clean paying homeless person at the park then a filthy one. Some of us are actually trying to better our situation and not standing out there begging for money.

We were there for a high school swim meet. Nice pool, lovely area, easy in and out of venue.

A great play groud with plenty of shade . They have outdoor bathrooms a basketball court swimming pool and baseball field and a pair of tennis courts.They also have a pavilion out there but only 1 big one. Its big enough to seat maybe 30 to 40 ppl I know they also allow bouncy houses there to but have to be certified bouncy house crew and oked by the office. Lately there have been a big boost in people there due to Marble park allowing kids football practice to take place there this year. Of course the swimming practices are around the same time . The swim meets have never been a problem but now with both practices during the school year there are so many ppl and cars there. Theres no room to park. People are parking on the side of the road and even at the bank across the street. What makes me mad is most of the time these people are just hanging out and, blocking thru traffic not letting people in. There is even a group that parks sideways and takes up 3 to 4 spaces to sell merchandise. Since then I have notice more trash in the area and at the park. So if its football season I would expect no parking at the end of the day once school is out. I have no problem with kids playing just hope the park can work out a better system since there is only a limited amount of parking at this facility.

It is a great place for the family. There is a play ground. Botchi Ball court, tennis court, basketball . Swimming pool. Baseball Diamond. Very relaxed.

Lots of room, can reserve picnic areas for outdoor partys, pool adjacent to picnic area has some restrictions as to residency, downside is that it is right on SR-70.

Girl scout troop had a blast at this park. Its nice that theres a ton of shade especially in this florida heat!

I love that its shaded and fenced. Always clean restrooms. I can go here for two hours and my children dont get bored and neither do I. There is something to play on for all ages. We love it!!

My nephew and grand kids love the place. The people are very polite and helpful. They enjoy the water and the park. My church has went there several times for church cook out .

The bathrooms are very nasty!! You cant sit under the pavilion because other people do not clean up after them selves. You shouldnt have to worry about the safety of your kids/grandkids with the riff raff that hangs around there!!!

What a jewel this park is, right near our neighborhood. Great pavilion, childrens play area, and pool. Great place for childrens birthday parties or family reunions.

My kids are attending summer camp. My 5 YO has had several minor injuries. My 9 YO says that the boy restroom is dirty. Otherwise they seem to be enjoying their experience.

Gazebo covered picnic tables, barbeque stands, extensive childrens playground equipment, tennis courts, basketball, botchie ball, small fee public swimming pool, much is shaded with large trees. Lots of parking, field for games, small toy car racing, bathrooms of course, gazebo is available to rent for large parties.
