I’m specifically reviewing the disc golf park here but will mention other things I came across.This is a decent little 9 hole disc golf park. Most of the holes are around 300ft par 3 although a decent player should hit these in 2. You should be able to play through in 30-45 mins.Overall the park is probably the cleanest and most well maintained course I’ve ever played. It’s not challenging, but it’s still really fun.Aside form the course there’s a soccer field, playground, plenty of walking trails and something called a gravity park. I will probably return with my family.

-----11/28/2020 update---- Gravity rail is chained and unable to be used. Jungle gym is open and everything else is working.... seems a little bit unfair... Ive left messages but no response. Not really sure whats going on here is this is a outdoor activity thats good for kids parents can sanitize the bars if they want to, we do.Dog walk, paved trails that are in good shape.. no cracks or puddles. Bathroom with Baseball field and 2 kid park areas. One standard jungle gym setup and another a short walk away with a gravity rail. My little guy loves it.

This park has a really nice “regular” playground, but if you’re willing to walk little bit the hidden gem is the gravity rail, aka the “roller coaster swing”. The gravity rail is really unique and fun, I’ve never seen this at any other park. Even as an adult I had a lot of fun riding it. You can do it with your child sitting in your lap, just make sure to hold on tight!

Nice gravity rail for the kids and nature trails. Toilets closed in pavilion near gravity rail, water fountains not functioning, construction there seem to be abandoned

This park is great for small children and has a nice water view. There are active dolphins and manatees that appear quite often. Great place to fish also.

Nice park with paths, picnic tables, play areas and a dog park. Found the frisbee golf area interesting.

Beautiful park. Dog park is pretty far in. We couldn’t use it it was locked. My dog was not happy!

Theres no water for the dogs,or for humans, for some reason. There are no shade trees so its hotter than hades. Sounds like hell to me. Too bad. Could be an awesome park with water and trees.

Fun disc golf course and very pretty

Since the Mrs. & I were in the neighborhood to visit the Naughty Monk Brewery we decided to divert a bit to check out this brand-spanking new park in Lakewood Ranch. Here there is a nice selection of playground equipment for the younger set, a dog park & pool, and also a small disc golf course. The course is only nine holes but it manages to work it’s way through the park with what seems to be a satisfactory layout - I have yet to play it, and it’s certainly not a pro course by any stretch of the imagination... however, it’s perfect for beginners playing for the first time. There is a lot of development going on in this part of LR and I’m guessing this nice little park will get a lot of use over the years!

This is one of the nicest parks in the area. Its quite expansive, and even has Frisbee golf.I would give 5 stars, but the restroom facilities were extremely late in opening, long after the park was built, and I dont know if they ever opened...they were using Jiffy Johns, which were surrounded by the stinch youd expect from such restrooms.

I like this park. Ive been here quite a few times with my boyfriend. They have a lot of nice places to walk, a dog park, and even a fenced in doggy lake. Its pretty awesome. The only thing is, it gets extremely hot here because there isnt a lot of shade. But other than that - beautiful park!

Very nice new park with picnic shelter, restrooms, water fountains, 2 playgrounds, disc golf, walking trails, small baseball field, soccer field, and lots of parking. The gravity swing is hidden way in the back, however it doesn’t work that well. Kids still enjoyed it though. I never seen a disc golf course designed and build like a golf course. Usually they get added to a park later. Disc golf course is a beginners course and can easily land on another hole (270ft typical).

Once again. The place is well kept. I go to play disc golf and they keep it well mowed. They have taken care of some of the wet areas by drainage and adding sod. Definitely not as wet as a month ago. Just put in some irrigation as well. Nice to see it kept up. Beautiful place for walkers too!

Great local park!

More than meets the eye. There is a nature trail near the tennis courts and a lake in the far back.

Great Park for families, dogs or kids

The park is wonderful. I wish they would unlock the small dog park. If this is a community park...the dog park should be unlocked. Could not get in yesterday.

Super nice and well kept up. Disc golf course is well maintained and well signed.

We rented the pavilion, the bathroom doors were locked I attempted to call their City Hall the park people but nobody could help us. It was very poor. It’s new, but they had no problem taking the money for the rent

Great park with plenty of walking trails and an fun frisbee golf course. This park has clean bathrooms and shade for the parents when the kids play at the park. In the evening though be careful of the mosquitos.
