Great place to park with the dogs and enjoy a day at the beach. We backed up the truck and grilled on the tailgate. Narrow stretch of beach but its enough for chairs, sun shelter and dogs. Its the only area on a beach you can bring the dogs on Anna Maria Island or surrounding area.

Awesome place to spend lunch, dinner breakfast, watch the sunset. Sunrise. Very clean bathrooms very clean Pavilions.

Love the fact this place is dog friendly, and had a restroom available to use. Perfect spot for a picnic

So peaceful. Weather was perfect. Scene came right out of a movie.

I love walking the causeway at night with my flashlight and finding lots of cool sea life. During the weekends it is a very popular/busy place for families to grill out, horseback riding, jet skiing, and to even bring your fur babies to get in the water. I highly recommended for families.

Quiet, easy and free access, dogs allowed. Its close to the road in spots, but beautiful. One side has picnic tables under a separate roof each table...always a cool breeze. Restrooms, wheelchair accessible. ️

We came in the middle of winter break for the north, all the other beaches were crazy crowded so we decided on this roadside beach. We ended up having a great time here.

A great place to walk with your pet. Pet Friendly! enjoy part of the Gulf away from the crowds . Dogs run free sometimed to play ball and swim Safe to swim. Australian Pines throw some shade in spots as you first aporoach Westbound . Always a nice breeze off of the Gulf. A low key place to stop and enjoy the Coastline away from the crowds on the island. Some pretty views on each sidet to choose from. Over half a mile of parking along the south side. A Natural shorline with crushed shell and rough sand. Kids Pets Cookout! Good place to take your dog on leash and its the only place in Bradenton you can park your car close to the beach no overnight parking

Pretty nasty Memorial day weekend. We were scared to get in the water.

I wouldnt advise swimming but if you want to look for shells or fish without a crowd this is your place. Just be very careful crossing the road!!!

Beautiful place to stop on your way to the island or on your way back.. Or just to stop at. You can ride horses, rent khakis (spelling??) You can put your beach chair along the shore & forget about your day.. BEAUTIFUL place!!

Great spot to pull of the road. Always a spot open to sit by the water. The beach is a tad Rocky, but the peace and quiet was a good trade off the busy beaches.

I was there yesterday and was forced to leave by a cop. Instead of fighting crime this public servant was driving up and down the beach telling everyone to leave.

Relaxing place.

Went here looking for a waterside place to walk my dog. This met the criteria, but I wouldn’t go back, too much litter.

Nice causeway for a quick beach fix if you dont feel like dealing with the beach traffic & crowds. Cons are you are sitting on a busy highway. The water quality can be iffy at times, several times a year they have no swim advisories. Watch for broken glass, wear water shoes. Its beautiful in the fall to sit under a shady tree and read a book by the water.

You can see and ride horses on the beach here along side the causeway. Very nice little spot and if you go a little further more beautiful beaches await.

Its where my dearly departed mother and I used to go as a child. Beautiful little causeway to watch the waves, seek out neat shells or sharks teeth, and go fishing.

Nice county park... Provides a place for tired visitors to relax, grill and enjoy nature... Very small with minimal facilities and no staff...

We fond little star fish under the stones The kids loved the water and the beach. So did we!!

Nice little strip of beach if you want to sun yourself on the bay side. Parking fills up fast during high traffic times like spring break. Water is amazingly clear.

This is a great spot to go hang at the beach or do a little kayaking. Pet friendly as well which makes it even better.

Clean restrooms, nice little spot to stop...but difficult to get back on the road when you leave!

We always park on our way to the beach to enjoy our food in a very beautiful atmosphere.The view is stunning, the Bathrooms are so clean and there are tables, trash cans and BBQ Grills!There is also a small area to enjoy fishing.Free parking!

Walk my dog there alot

Right on a busy road (so watch your kids and animals) but, still pretty awesome. Basically just a few huts to sit and eat, rest and enjoy the view. Small beach to climb down to with regular dogs and their families. Good for shell hunting, just make sure they arent being lived in! We saw several that were occupied by mollusks.

A wonderful park that is near empty in the morning if you want a tranquil experience, and time alone with the fish and the birds.

Great locals place to watch the sunset, launch a kayak, and take the dogs for some water fun! The beach isnt as pretty but it is the bay, so lots of debris washes up. It is great to watch the horses that swim here!

Love fishing there although I really dont catch much and taking my dog there. Its very convenient because you can pull right up to the beach area and you have your car right there to keep you cooler out of the sun.

Always the nicest spot to just sit in relax. We usually choose the South side, near the restrooms as theres always a nice breeze . Traffic can get crazy though so time your visits accordingly.
