Entirely depends on the day what the cleanliness level is. Not everyone picks up their poop as indicated BUT there’s a dog water fountain, lots of fenced off area, turf, a little grass, and plenty of space. Never too crowded like Patterson.

My dog loves this park which is why it gets 5 dog stars, in human stars maybe 3 only because it literally never gets cleaned (the city won’t take responsibility since apparently it was built with the understanding that some now non functional organization would be in charge).

It can be a great park if people picked up after their dogs. It’s not as bad as the dog park closer to me. I’m still hesitant to take my dog off the leash if there’s poop hanging around.

I have an aggressive dog. Exercising her in the city is quite a task. Coco and I are so grateful for the park after hours.

Im neutral about this place because I dont have a dog. That said, it seems to get good use and the folks and the dogs I see there seem to be having a good time. Theres a section fenced off for senior dogs and also one for large dogs. Nice little oasis in the city for dog people.

This is a nice area for our dogs to play, its fenced in and has a water fountain! However Dogs cant clean up behind their self. So its the owners of the dogs that are messing it up for others to enjoy!! CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PETS!!!!

Nice size park. Friendly dogs. Easy parking. It can be a hit or miss when it comes to if people will be there.

Amazing dogs and the people who own those dogs are also awesome. The only issue is the city doesnt care about the place so theres a bunch of trash around the park fences and the water fountain for the dogs leaks.

There is a smaller small dog area and a larger big dog area. On the weekend there are many dogs of all sizes in the big dog area.The park has a water fountain for dogs in each area and trash cans. There is an entrance on either side of each area and an entrance between the two areas.There is a little bit of turf but mostly stone and paved surfaces in both areas. The big dog area has plenty of shady trees but the small dog area is mostly open to the sun.

Great little dog park, with big and little/timid sides. Everyone seemed very nice and the dogs were having a great time.

I love this place because I can bring my dog here everyday off leash she can roam around theres 6 benches in the large dog area then theres a spilt for senior /small dogs oh yeah also theres a fountain for the dogs to drink out of which is very convenient

If ya got a pooch in the city and he needs a run or to see his friends this is the place to go.nice quiet,shady,2 sections run area,1 for big dogs 1 for little ones.watering fountain provided,just clean up after they do their business.

Great for my location, but people need to clean up after their dogs (cant play ball with a bunch of poop everywhere. And there should be doggie poop bags provided. Also, if theres a way to keep the junkies out - that would be great.

Great updated dog Park thats fenced in with water fountains and separated areas for small & large dogs.Downside is that once it gets dark out, your more at risk to being mugged due to location (Train Stop, Bus Stops, & Near Bad Area).

So far so good but I really dont like the neighborhood its full of feins (drug abusers)

A cool place to let your dog have some fun

I love having a park so close but there are a number of frustrations. Its hard to know if there will be dogs to play with at any given time. Theres no water for the dogs to drink. Theres holes under the fence where balls can slip through. By over all if there are dogs to play with its a really nice park.

Great dog park in a great part of town. Gets relatively busy so it provides a great opportunity for your dog to socialize and play. The water fountain is always a bonus as well! Had separate facilities for large and small dogs. Most of the soft surfaces are AstroTurf except around the trees so you don’t have to worry about your dog getting all muddy even if it’s a little damp

The majority of the dogs people bring there are very friendly, playful, and will even sit on your lap. Its pretty hilarious really. Good place to socialize your dog.

Great park for dogs and too meet people with dogs

Ive started taking my pup here in the afternoons. The small dog side of the park is fairly limited in playtime amenities, but the dogs and folks who come to the park more than make up for that. The large dog side seems to have a lot more going for it, with plenty of features to keep your canine friends interested. Most folks are pretty good about picking up after their pets, and theres a hose available for cleaning up any stains. I think the city could improve cleanliness a little more by providing some complementary waste bags at the park.

Very clean, not extremely busy. 2 separate enclosures for large dogs as well as small dogs. Alot of obsticles and grass for your dog to run on. Its in a great neighborhood on the edge of the university of maryland midtown campus hospital so its extremely safe. Located perfectly at the centre street light rail stop. Enjoy!

Good place for dog to do there duty

I love the park but liked it better when humans could go to it or at least sit down near there. I dont understand why Baltimore is spending its taxpayers money on creating dog parks in areas where gentrification is growing in volume, but yet close recreational centers in areas that need need them the most. Not only that, but there is not enough green spaces for human beings to enjoy as it is in these increasingly dense spaces, cluttered with stores & gentrified nonsense. On second thought, Ive stayed in Mount Vernon for a period of time, and maybe its more important to have a space where owners can concentrate on their dogs play & waste management. Because Lord knows, that without a space to go to, to incite their own social guilt among peers in a confined space, they would never pick up their dogs dirty business. They never do. A true Mount Vernon favorite pastime.

Gives pets a great space to exercise in however as people are around too owners need to be mindful and keep pets leashed for safety

A great place for your 4 legged buddy.

Excellent place for dogs to play and have a nice safe area to do it in. Especially since its located in Baltimore City. It is located right behind the Centre Street Light Rail Station Stop on the southbound side (Im including this just to be 100% sure, the park is located behind the Light Rail Stop, its on the side where the next stop is Lexington Market, which Im almost positive is the south side, although its obvious once you are there that it could only be on the side it is on cuz the other side which Im almost positive is the Northbound side and that side is nothing but concrete, so really its quite impossible to notknow which side its on! Baltimore is well known for a lot of things but grass isnt one of them. So this dog park is somewhat unique as well as being just a plain old nice area for small & large dogs alike! They have have two different sections, one for big dogs and one for small ones. I consider it a pretty safe place to be as well, although it is in Baltimore City, which unfortunately isnt known to be the safest of places! The dog owners keep it very nice and clean, and there are plenty of doggie poo bags and trash cans as well! Great little place! Good amount of space in both parts! Hopefully this was helpful for at least one person.

The park is a sloped terrain, with trees and fake grass. Majority of ground is concrete, and stone tiles covering slopes. Unfortunately, it appears some vistors dont clean up after their dogs.
