I wished it was better kept everyone needs to help out though parking lot could use a upgrade or repairing and parking area along the sea wall as well

Fort Armstead park is a great fishing spot. There is a boat ramp also. The boat ramp is good but the waters are rough. Easier to launch a smaller boat. There is no stores or bait shops so bring your own bait and snacks. As far as the rest of the park seems a little shady. Ive never wondered far from the fishing area.

I am 51 years old and I have been going to Fort Armistead since I was a child with my parents. Approximately 6 years old. And unfortunately the upkeep of the once Knorr ready bunker has not been the best. But the atmosphere is still there! You can walk down into the tunnels and see how it was for them before electric when only thing they had was gas or oil lamps. And you can imagine the bombs coming in from the water! Very historic site and I wish they would be able to put a little money in it to bring it back to presentable View. But with all that said its still attract a lot of people it has a beautiful 250 foot fishing pier that is newly built and handicap accessible. It has a nice boat ramp with wave protection walls in place. And the Key Bridge is clearly visible from the park. On a 1 out of 10 I give it a strong six maybe seven.

1 star for the awesome view of the key bridge. Fort Armistead? U mean Fort Landfill or Fort this is where I clean out my truck bed of chopped up fish. I hope this isnt the neighborhood park. I been in some ruff places in my time but this takes it. So much potential but so neglected. Using caution tape for dock railings wont cut it.

Fishing pier. Free boat ramp.That is the good.Crouds of of age and under age kids at times with music and pot smoking.Craigslist hook up creeps. Very unsettling.Anglers here often keep undersized fish (croaker, rock)

Run down, bad area. Boat ramp is large but avoid on the weekends gets incredibly crowded.

The park was filled with trash everywhere. Saw one trash can piled up past the top. Mostly people fishing & boating but smelly & incomprehensible re: casually littering.

Great place to relax, go fishing, and walking the trails.

One of the dirty park even i visited. People making trash anywhere i dont know why management dont care about this. But, you can enjoy with water view so 2 star from my side.

Cool place to fish. Trash is an issue for me! But great options from pier to rocks. Parking is very convenient and local royal farms and gas stations right down the street for bait. I’ve only caught catfish, white perch, eel and blue crab there. Never seen anyone catch rock fish tho!

Historic site I will visit more.

Its a decent place. The major problem there is its completely trashed from people leaving their garbage. Someone needs to organize a community clean up..or the state should pay to have it cleaned. Other than the trash issue, some portable restrooms would be nice to place at that location. The trash is blowing into the water. Sad to see what could be a nice place to visit being trashed so much. Giving only 3 stars due to the trash everywhere.

Its a very nice place to go and fish and all but the county/city has not been around in a long time because the trash bins are overflowing. Also everywhere you look there is trash and broken glass. People dont clean up after themselves and its disgusting

Its a bice, peaceful place to take the kids to play at the playground or see some history. Nice place to jog or run which Ive done numerous times for a change of scenery. They do haunted dungeons there for Halloween which are a fun time. It would be a lot nicer if they cleaned up the graffiti and a school bus that is there for some reason Im sure but I dont know what it is.

Quiet for the most part

Fort Armistead Park is on the water with an old U.S. Army fort on the property. The fort itself defended Baltimore until 1920 and then was used to store ammunition during World War II. Now its abandoned. Its not blocked off so adventurers can explore the old fort going through graffiti-covered tunnels.

Filthy place....it could be beautiful if they kept it up. Would love to see it with the grass cut and the weeds around the dock trimmed.It could be a beautiful space !!!!

I drive across this bridge all the time I dont know anything about fort armistead park. The bridge is cool though. Wish I wasnt driving so i could enjoy the view.

Great fun clean place

Do not recommend for fishing. Generally its not too overly crowded but the amount of kids running around and the lack of supervision is a good enough reason to avoid. Several times Ive had people in the middle of the day drive over toward the jetty, park right next to me and do drugs openly in their car. The park in general is not taken care of and it shows by the type of people who frequent it. Trash is everywhere. The gate has been pulled clean off and the pot holes are deep enough to destroy any sedan or average car. If you dont have many opinions, maybe stick to the pier. But if you can help it, find somewhere else.

Do you like lewd behavior and bad graffiti? Well this place is for you!!! On a plus note, the fort is kinda neat, and memories of Starscape is always awesome.

The park was dirty and poorly maintained. Any public views of the water and bridge are overgrown those making it hard to see the Key Bridge. Not enough trash cans to keep up with regular park use.

They cleaned the place up real nice, if you keep one eye open over the shoulder, you will be ok. No fish today, tight lines everybody.

This is a great place to go fishing it does need a little TLC but great fishing overall could use more benches and porta johns nearby I also met new Buddies to go fishing without there

I am 60 years old and never knew there was an actual fort here. Its a shame the city of Baltimore has let it fall into such disrepair, between the overgrown trees bushes and graffiti it is not much to look at but if You have an imagination its not hard to wonder what it looked like years ago !

Beautiful. Although the entrance need repaving and the dirt road need to be fixed because of the potholes but its a good spot

Could be a beautiful place to fish and sit down by the water but the parking lots and the roads are HORRIBLE! And there isnt much of any upkeep on the land there. Definitely needs some landscaping work.

Featuring cool ruins, covered in trash, and used condoms, Ft Armistead seems to be a shady place for older creepy guys to fool around in the down low. If you are an older, heavy set man, looking to have sex with a similar looking fellow in a car, or on the ruins of an old fort, pretend this is a five star rating. Otherwise, dont go at night.

This place is awesome! Especially for those who love graffiti! Its also scenically located next to the Baltimore harbor.

Great piece of history, graffiti is so colorful and some very well done which makes it a great location for photo shoots. The pier is nice for fishing and sunsets - plenty of parking.

Its great for pictures and fishing and even exploring. The downfalls are no bathrooms, theres sometimes creepy people that sit in there cars down there. On a good note though, there is a great boat ramp. Its very old and historical.

Pretty views of the bridge, but the park itself is extremely dirty, theres trash everywhere and hardly a bench to sit on. Seems to be used mainly by fishermen.

Great sights and excellent boat ramp. However this place looks neglected, full of thrash everywhere. The fishing pier was nice but the chemical plant was really close. Dont know if Id put anything I catch from here in the cooler.

This place could actually be beautiful with a little TLC. The feeling is that anything goes on down here. Trash everywhere. Im not a person who just complains and does nothing to be of help. If I would have brought some gloves and trash bags I would have actually cleaned up myself. The view is amazing though.

Is my favorite park and I only give it 2 stars because its overly neglected. Trash is thrown around every where or not collected in a timely manner and builds up. The road leading to the park and the parking lot are so bad, that you risk blowing out a tire or ruining your suspension car suspension even in something like a Jeep Wrangler. Its covered in potholes and eroding road. This could easily be a popular family destination if they would just fix the roads and parking lot and actually do regular trash pick up.

So much potential but the city largely ignored it.

An interesting place. its a little bit creepy especially the tunnels, they have these huge spider cricket things that cling to the ceiling and jump towards light sources i.e. you! the structure around the tunnels can be quite dangerous as it is hard sometimes to tell if where your about to put your foot will be a good stable place in if an errant leaf will send you on a dangers slip and fall potentially down a long steep flight of steps. dangerous if not fully prepared for it if your going exploring off the beaten paths is what Im getting at.

Park gets a bad name. every time I go it seems pretty chill and nice. Nice being able to go to a park that doesnt have 2000 rules.

From August to Mid October, great fishing, ie, small spots and croakers. Keeps you busy. Nice pier.

When I lived in Glen Burnie in 98-99 my husband I used to go to the pier and go crabbing. A wonderful place to visit and fish. View some history while your there.

Nice view of the bay. Terrible roads, busted a tire out there. Needs attention from the state/city.
