This is a jewel that should NOT be hidden. From a preserved first floor (authentic) look into Mrs. Carroll Jacksons living quarters (the bed and front room), to the extensive family tree in the backroom, the time and care spent giving a snapshot into her life, is amazing. Each floor builds on the knowledge of her life and gives insight into how her life and focused purpose helped shape our lives today. The neighborhood is rich with culture that is worth taking a second look at. Enjoy your visit.

A wonderfully preserved and planned museum showcasing a great woman of Baltimore and the nation. It was incredibly educational and inpirational. It is a story for everyone. Sadly, due to staffing there have VERY limited hours. I hope this,situation changes soon so that more people have the opportunity to tour this home of national significance!
