Although we are not aviation people, we LOVED our afternoon at the Swift museum outside of Athens! We learned so much and were impressed by the size and quality of displays. We were shown around and had the history of this interesting airplane explained. Our visit coincided with a fly in of fun Swift pilots coming in from around the country (and a 92 year old Canadian legend who flew in on his own!)Good people, great visit. Highly recommended.
What a great little museum! If your driving up I-75 and need to take a break do it here. The planes are amazing and the ladies who work here are very friendly and informative.
Our daughter loves planes an we took her to see all that planes
Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable.
Beautiful museum featuring a simulator and four mint condition mid-twentieth century planes. Donations are appreciated, but there is no door charge. A real treat!
Such an interesting place, even if not all that visited. Very sweet lady that works there took me and my son on a interesting tour, and seen the parts that they had for order.
Theres a lot about history that I learned. I could spend hours going though each item they have there. The staff loves explaining the history of each plane.
