A fun peaceful in town country feel park. Where you can feed geese and ducks, see swans and if early enough in the year all their babies. Across the street is adequate playground where kids can burn energy. The only reason i give 4 verses 5 stars is for the paths. They are old and almost gone in areas. If you go with a wheel chair it could get hairy in spots.
Pretty nice to sit and watch some of the wildlife, plus has like 5 or 6 pokemon stops and a gym if you play
Its a wonderful place to have fun and relax! Plenty to see and do for everyone. Its a wonderful place year round.
Goose poop park, be careful not to feed them to much otherwise you might have to run away in all the poop. Very nice ice rink in the winter time. Not very many places to sit as nd watch the birds.
Beautiful quiet park. Good place to relax and watch the ducks ans geese
Located in the heart of Alexandria, MN, this is a quaint city park with an obvious and charming bird theme. An eclectic mix of colorful bird houses are nestled around a large duck pond, though the primary patrons of the pond are geese - watch out, they can be aggressive! Besides geese, one can find mallards, wood ducks, and the occasional heron making use of the pond as well.A path surrounds the pond, but it is narrow and extremely rough. This is definitely not a wheelchair accessible park! Repaving the path would go a long way to making this park a 5-star destination.Off to one side of the park is a large and beautifully kept garden, including brightly colored flowers and plants with leaves larger than a small child. This mix of plants does a great job of attracting butterflies and other attractive insects which add to the already stellar display. During the summer, its definitely worth the visit for the garden alone.Overall, I would recommend visiting this park if you live in or are visiting the Alexandria area. Its whimsical art, flora, and fauna can instil a sense of childlike wonder.
It was awesome cuz got to feed the birds there
I am fortunate to live within walking distance of this lovely park. Whether its a stroll or a bikeride, hitting the pokestops on my way home from the store, or watching my niece and nephew chase butterflies, I find myself in Noonan Park several times a week.In the summer months, the park is always lively, yet quiet and comfortable. There is a certain nostalgic quality to the interesting colors and structures in the park, that I find comforting and amusing at the same time. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking to relax and just enjoy being outside.
SO LOVELY TO HAVE LUNCH HERE WITH MY DAUGHTER. I LOVED SEEING THE BABY DUCKS AND GEESE.
Nice park, outstanding flower garden in northwestern corner of park, playground, shelters, ducks and geese and water fountain.
Nice shade on the playground and fun, interactive ducks and geese on the short walk around the pond
The sidewalk really needs to be replaced. Lots of roots pushing up the pavement.
Nice, clean city park. We enjoyed having lunch in our car and watching the swans, geese, and ducks.
Beautiful little park! The geese are adjusted to people, so be sure to bring lots of birdseed (not bread!)!
It was a fun time visiting family not seen before Christmas 2019
Love Noonans Park. Get to see ducks, geese and so much more.
Love watching the ducks and geese and all the other animals like squirrels, and seagulls,
Cozy park with lots of ducks and geese
Always fun and beautiful
The geese give entertainment to throwing bread and fountains add to excitement for water display
The park is great! Watch out for the goose poop but its a fun park to take the kids! Watch out for traffic if you cross the street to go to the playground but its very nice there as well. Have a nice day out! And during the winter its a great ice skating park!
Great place to look at Geese!
Always a lovely place to walk. Yes the pathways are very bumpy and it is not easy to get a wheelchair through the pathways but it is a nice place to visit if your in the area.
My kids love the playground. In my opinion, there are nicer parks in town.
Fun to see the geese !
Great place to bring kids!
Beautiful! Sad more people arent out enjoying it!
Nice little park with a pond. Many ducks, geese and a few wood ducks there. A beautiful flower garden.
Beautiful place
Love this park! Great to have a picnic and watch the birds. Kids will love it!
Nice clean park. Lots of ducks and geese roam around. They have nice grills there for grilling out and decent paths to walk, but some of the paths are in bad need of repair.
Loved feeding the birds!
Geese during the summer and hockey rinks during the winter. The amount of geese during the summer make it not a great place to visit.
Excellent place to go to relax and feed the birds. Lots of fun ice skating in the wintertime.
A beautiful location to see some of Minnesotas wild life!
Beautiful picnic and play area. Wonderful family fun! Would definitely recommend!
Noonans park is one of Alexandrias one stop shops for pokestops with a constant reset cycle between stops its definitely worth stopping and just running through. It has a beautiful pond usually filled with geese or ducks the path is abit worn down but still very walkable
All the ducks and geese you ever need to see. Pretty garden and nice little path. Just watch out for goose poop.
I just love the gardens! It really is a beautiful spot!!
Really seems like a nice park that is located in downtown Alexandria. Currently right now in the winter time you can ice skate. Rumor has it that you can rent ice skates in a small little shack located on the property. It is almost always plowed and shoveled so I would imagine that it is well maintained for a park
Great spot to go ice skating. The warm house is a nice spot to put on skates and take breaks. The overhead lights are also handy.
Love taking my kid here before school.
Such a lovely park.Great place to watch the ducks and swans and have picnic.Great for having a nice walk and for the children.
Noonans park in alexandria is a very common Pokemon Go park but as well as a ice skating pond in winter. During the other 3 seasons though its nice to walk around and get some fresh air. It has a a beautiful new garden as well as a few places to sit and rest. Across from the walking part there is a play ground and a nice sheltered section with benches.
Fun place to feed ducks
Great park full of many memories. Lots of pokestops as well
This place has been here forever. I remember visiting when I was growing up. I brought my kids here, and now I am bring my grandchildren here as well.
Nice for a BBQ and or go swimming with the family. They have tennis courts as well.
Beautiful little park to stop for a scenic picnic or just spend some time with the family. The waterfowl make for lots of fun if you have kids and the playground just adds to that fun. Definitely reccomended.
Good place to relax and watch the wildlife.
Beautiful
I met family here for a picnic supper and it was just beautiful!
Great place to relax
Id like to take the famdam here! Drive past it like every day
Very fun park to take the grandkids too.
Cool park with many ducks and geese, fairly used to people. Unique bird, duck, and kid houses on the property. Restrooms available, as well as several grills, shelters, and tables.
Its an ice skating rink in the winter, and a nice duck pond in the summer
BIRDS! And good for pokemon go
Great place to take the family and ice skate. They have benches for the kids to push around also which is a big plus
Pretty but a lot of geese
Britton and Draven had a blast at park.
Nice park with kids playground and ponds with ducks/geese
Very fun, good way to relax
One of our favorite small parks. Be sure to bring extra bread for the ducks.
Great place to take family
Good place for pokemon
Great, hands on service.
Great place to take children
Feed the ducks! You have bread you are going to throw away anyway. Take your preschool age kid and they will talk about it for days after. Free and free open skate and warming house in winter. Watch out for goose poop wear old shoes. Fun!
Awesome place to take the kiddos
Love it. Me and my husband got married at this park. We take our kids here every year on our anniversary. There are ducks to feed and a playground with a bathroom across the street. Love to skate here in the winter
Adorable park for a picnic.
It is a wonderful park that unfortunately sprawls across a very busy road. It would be nice to eventually see an underpass built to keep everyone safer.
This is a very fun park! There are ducks by the pond, and you can feed them. The playground across the street is an okay place to play. The problem is crossing in the crosswalk...cars speed past and dont always stop.
Great park, lots of ducks...
I loved this park! What a great location for a picnic...if you like geese and ducks! My kids -loved- feeding the birds and checking out the various birdhouses. So pretty and unique!
Nice place. We just moved to the area so its nice to have a beautiful park to go to that has bird life and flowers.
Wonderful plenty for kids to do. Not far from grocery food etc
Great local park. Skating in the winter and paths for walking in the summer. Just watch out for the goose poo.
Nice place, but it is a goose park, so dont wear your nice shoes.
Nice winter activity area with hockey rinks, ice skating and warming hut. In the summer its overrun with geese and ducks walking without stepping in thier feces is nearly impossible.
Have to get rid of the geese.
Cute little park for kids
Fun place in the summer to feed the ducks and kids love the mini play house. In the winter offers a large outdoor area for the kids to skate.
Great place to bring the kids to play and to feed the ducks and geese ( give them bird seed not bread!)
I spend too much time here. Pokemon go is the death of me
Theres lots of birds here to show the kids, but thats the only reason you come.
Nothing but mosquitoes could even enjoy it
Its fun to watch the ducks vie for food. Relaxing to just sit and watch.
I wasnt there
Great place to unwind and relax.
Great park to relax
A lot of ducks and geese in the summer. In the winter it is a very nice ice skating rink
Great park!
