Excellent one mile walking/running path wandering over the hills beneath beautiful trees. Excellent childrens playground. 3 nice ramadas with charcoalgrills and picnic.

Were in Yuma for a month and found this great park. Two mile jog each day. The track is exactly 1 mile in circumference. Nice cement path, long and gentle slopes up and down are great for interval training. Everyday so far (Feb, 2020) weve had great breezes and temps in the 70s.

Seeing people of all ages working out and the beauty of the trees and different animals gives you the encouragement to keep working out. You can get a good workout just by walking around the track.

This morning (Election Day 2020) was a nice, cool, bright walk.--

Lots of shade, lots of grass, exercise equipment along the walk path, places to sit, birds sound relaxing, breeze through the trees very soothing. Great place to walk, jog, or picnic in the grass.

Actually while visiting Yuma we got lost by out map quest. But turned into a good event coming across these christmas lightning. Made us forget we got lost. I think our map quest decided we needed to venture. Made it all worth while. Thanks map quest.

Really good for running and walk

It is a very beautiful park. Has fitness equipment along a paved hike/bike path. Is a bit noisy, as it is on Avenue A, which is a very busy thoroughfare. All in all, a great place to go and work out, walk/run, or even have a BBQ. Has covered pavilions with BBQ grilles.

Its the best park in Yuma, Arizona. Not only is it a beautiful site, but its a great way to get in shape. Youll always find people there working out. As of recently they even added obstacle courses, as well as an actual playground for the kids!

Great well maintained Park, has to be one of the nicer parks in Yuma. With the walking track different inclines and new outdoors workout equipment its great for those looking to get fit for free! Awesome grassy areas for kids and pic-nics, nice playground area as well. And shaded areas with electric and tables for those partys/ birthdays!!

Great little in-town park with a walking path a few exercise machines, grassy areas, and picnic tables with roof structures for shade (an essential requirement for Yuma). Ate lunch there the other day and it was comdortable, quiet and relaxing. I am not sure how long the walking loop is, but I am going to try it out this weekend. Walking path goes up and down some small inclines so it will be good for a bit more vigorous exercise than a flat walking loop. Nice park.

A very large park with many amenities for all ages. It was a good location for a city event!

With its hilly path, access to green trees and grass and well lit at night,its the quintessential spot to run/jog/walk/what have you. Places to chill, and a childrens play area as well.

Has a really nice playground for kids. A one mile track that goes over hills and and then dips down for a great workout, all around the 15 acre park. What I like most about that is, there is exercise equipment all along the track. Lots of trees and benches, ramadas and grills for picnicking, and there are restrooms. Theres also some geocaches there! Great park for everyone.

Nice park on the west side of Yuma south of the hospital and next to KOFA High School. Its got a nice mile long concrete recreational path, with rolling hills. A nice challenge for joggers. The path concrete is a bit slick, particularly when wet. There are also a number of exercise stations along the path.The park also was a playground, a couple of sheltered picnic areas, and public restrooms. There are a number of large shade trees throughout the park. Ample trash cans.The park does need some maintenance and TLC. In particular the grassy area along the path, the bathrooms (mens in particular) need some serious updating and that slick rec path.Safe to walk there at night.

Great place to take the family or get a workout. There are hills (small) along the 1 mile loop for runners and plenty of green grass for accessory work. Huge trees provide plenty of shade and the play ground is great for kids for a play date too! Great little park.

Always nice place to walk and loose some weight just wish they would put some shades for the exercise equipment and a kids place so accidents can be prevented while walking but still is a great place to enjoy

Love this park because of the different grades on the track. Its not a flat park.

All in all this is a really nice place. It is clean, well lit, has a nice walking trail, fitness equipment, as well as a large playground for kids. There is a picnic area and plenty of trash receptacles, and the atmosphere is very friendly and easy going.

The park is very big has a lot of grass fields also a bunch of hills if you are looking for a good place to run/walk or a good exercise area for free this is the park for you. I enjoy doing my daily walks here with my children giving me an opportunity to work out and them an opportunity to play. There is open grass Fields, Covered ramadas for sitting areas, 2 separate playgrounds, A Walking/running path Also there are a few different pieces of exercise equipment to use around the walking path. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone who is looking for a place to take their children to play are looking for a place to do exercise or even just looking for a place to hang out.

A peaceful place of green grass and trees on rolling hills, Smucker Park has a 1 mile concrete path (loop) for walkers, skate boarders, runners, etc. It would get 5 stars from me if the path were gravel or dirt, which are much easier on the knees long term. There are exercise stations and benches along the street side of the park, playground equipment and several picnic ramadas. It is lighted at night and usually there are people there until at least 9 pm. It is my favorite place for fresh air and exercise in Yuma.

This is a nice park. You can walk, scooter,skate, or jog . There are plenty of covered spaces and a nice little playground. Also exercise equipment throughout.

After 9 or 10pm, it turns harder to jogging because of hydroplaning! and that water is not as clean as I would prefer I really like this place. They just put new lights. Love the ups and downs, too.
