A lovely place to visit in Yuma! I highly recommend feeding the ducks. Its worth it to buy the food from them for $1-3 (depending on bucket size), especially for families with kids. The tortoise wasnt out because it was a little too hot. The place is in need of a little upkeep and some more financial support to keep paths clear, replace sun-damaged signs and get plants labeled. I plan to add this place to my personal community-support goals.
A great place to get away from it al, even though a main road runs through it (sort of). Not only do they have hiking trails, vintage farming equipment on display you can also feed the ducks. Free to enter and donations are encouraged. Worth the effort.
Carson was very helpful explaining a few things about thedifferent plant life on the property. Everyone should give a donation when they go so that they can maintain the place from disrepair. The pond has many ducks and you can purchase duck food at the entrance
I saw the hours on the website and pamphlet. Got my family of 5 ready to go there Saturday morning. The kids were excited to visit and see the ducks. When we arrived, there was a sign saying closed for private party and not a soul in sight. It would be nice if they made updates on availability.
Free, open donation admission, good way to spend an hour. Lots of mature cactus, a tortoise, duck pond, and antique farm equipment graveyard.
Hidden gem of Yuma. Great place to wander and see desert plants and wildlife.
Would have been nice to visit but got the baby all ready and got there and was disappointed, only open til April...no where Did it mention that on the sites pertaining to it....
