A large steel bridge across the Colorado River, a cool sight to see.
It was my first time here and seems like a safe family place. The water area by the beaches before the bridge is shallow. If youre more adventurous go towards the bridge area it seemed to be deeper there. I gave it 4 stars due to the fact they have the restrooms close because of Covid, which is unfortunate for families with children.
Sidewalk and signs about bridge if you explore can be found
My son loves trains so it is always quite the experience on the beach below the tracks when the trains going overhead. Lots of fun
It was magical place. I will never forget the ocean to ocean bridge.
Had an awesome opportunity to be here this Memorial Day 2019 to remember my/our Fallen Comrades. God Bless America!
Fun little park if you like to swim and play in river.
Important part of Yumas history story of the West. But a but underwhelming by itself. Visit other sites, such as the Yuma Territorial Prison, or a festival at the site. Or just have a picnic & enjoy the views!
Not very many signs to tell you where to go, park. All in all the kids had fun
Kids had a blast playing in the water and watching the train go over head.
Lovely place to go and enjoy relaxing with someone you care about.
Great place to spend time with your family
Beautiful to sit and relax here with family.
It has definitely changed in 30 years.
