The place is mostly abandoned now and private property of Mill Creek, I took a summer college class there for Archeology. From what we unburied, and from what remains, I cant help but feel like this place once held the keys to an amazing story. We found the remains of horses as well as evidence of a fire long ago. I wasnt going to bother to share this or my photos of the place, because its private property and most people arent welcome in that part of the park. However, I have recently been hearing rumors of plans to reopen this part of the park to the people. It would be great to have a functioning horse stable near us again!
Beautiful historic area of boardman. Have a few small events every year.
