I love the peaceful atmosphere and beauty this place holds for us to discover, everytime I come here it feels different and its always a great experience, an amazing location to walk or jog around the lake, or to just sit and soak it all in, so peaceful. Take note of the wildlife, almost every log in the lake has turtles just chilling and enjoying the same atmosphere as we do. If at all possible stop down to the Lily pond and find some peace. Thank you Mill Creek Park for providing such a perfect location for all of us to enjoy.

Nice pond that you can casually walk around. Great scenes for fall pictures and lots of wildlife to see like deer, turtles, fish, and plants. Nice place to take pictures in the morning or at dusk.

The walk was slow and nice. It was beautiful and the turtles were cute. There was a big snapping turtle too.

Used to be so much nicer here but I feel that its really been let go and the upkeep isnt what it used to be here anymore. It just wasnt the same or as nice as it was in the past. I also didnt see any koi and there used to be a ton. Not sure what happened? Was kind of bummed.

Cute the Turtles were out on logs. Saw a duck, couple Lillies getting ready to bloom. Will be going back again.

My grandkids loved seeing all the big turtles and as we walked around the pond up in the woods stood a big female deer. The park is beautiful we loved it there.

Not one bird??? I took my three great-grandsons to see the Ducks and other birds in park. I took them to a few different parts of the park and we did not see one bird the whole time. But the Lily ponds kind of save the day because they were able to see turtles and fish there.

I always love this place

This place is perfect, great for all ages. So relaxing, lots of nature sights and a nice trail to walk along. My kids loved seeing the turtles lounging out on the logs, in the middle of the pond. And the bright orange koi fish are fun to spot also. We will revisit!

A beautiful part of Mill Creek Park.

Mill Creek Park is truly the crown jewel of the Mahoning Valley. The Lily Pond is one of the must-sees when you go to the park. Its a tranquil place to check out wildlife and a ton of turtles :)

Nice place to visit..just dont get close to water..there are 50 to 100# snapping turtles looking to eat..they will bite you!

I have two boys (2 and 9) we love the Lily pond weve been going since before the boys were born but its a really cute little area to walk the family

I love going to the Lily pond! It’s a great way to spend time outdoors and with nature. The path is relatively wheelchair and stroller friendly. They have infographics around the pond that tell you more about the habitat and wildlife you’ll see. There are benches around the pond to rest and take in the view. We love looking for the turtles, especially the big snapping turtles that hide just below the surface!

I used to come here back in the 80s and absolutely loved it. Its a little more crowded today than it was back then but its still a great place to visit! So much different wildlife to view and a great escape from everyday life.

Easy path to walk, lots of turtles, some large snapping turtles that were really cool to see! The docks are a wonderful addition. But please do not bring bread to feed to the fish and turtles, it is not good for them and the park prohibits it.

A great place to take some time with nature. I love the educational plaques along the way. I learn every time I go there.

This is a Youngstown gem! Great place to view fish and snapping turtles. We also saw a bald eagle fly overhead. There are additional wooded walking trails that branch off the pond trail.

Very pretty

Great place to visit within the Mill Creek Metroparks! This spot is getting better each year and has a lot of nature to take in. From seeing tadpoles transition into frogs and getting lucky to seeing a baby turtle swimming around, there is a lot to enjoy with friends, family, or on your own in order to relax.

So I took my family for a walk, we walked 2.4 miles that day. We decided to find a relax point for ourselves.. We stopped at the Lily Pond and saw peace.. All the babies with their mothers, ducks turtles and fish.. We even got a chance to see the beautiful Blue Heron. It was such a release, weve been having some rainy days and I dont mean the weather, it was so surreal like someone was telling us everything will be ok..

So peaceful and lovely here. One of our favorite places in this amazing park. Always turtles and fish to watch.

I love see the turtles..Just wish it was cleaning for the fishes and turtles that live in it...Wish they had ducks there 2 but they dont..Wish could have turtle pellets to feed fishes and turtles would be nice and healthy for them 2.

Such a pretty place! The new path and bridge with all the new native plants and flowers are a vast improvement over what we last saw, a few years back. My kids loved the walk, spotting many turtles, fish and dragonflies along the way. They even saw a deer They have asked to go back sometime soon and we definitely will.

Great little are to walk around the pond. About a mile walk where you will encounter birds, squirrels, and other wildlife. You will also see fish and turtles and frogs in the pond. Such a great place for all nature lovers. Highly recommend! :)

Great place to be in nature

Great place in Youngstown to go for a hike or just sit and relax. Fishing, kayaking, and paddle board are all available at lake glacier. They even have a patron boat you can rent. They also have a flower garden with a kids play area. I could literally spend all day there
