The kids enjoyed the waterplay area. A beautiful day.

The water park area was turned off, but the rest of the park was nice. Mainly just sat in the shade and chatted with a friend. If it was not such a hot day I probably wouldve eaten dinner there as well.

A pretty nice park. Its ridiculous and outrageous to be closing down public parks during this outrageous overreaction lockdown. How can allegedly intelligent public officials believe its better to sequester yourself in the house rather than breathe fresh, outdoor air??

Nice water splash feature. Drawbacks are a lot of homeless people, which in itself isnt bad, but they are sleeping all over, and some put up tarp shelters. Also they need more porta-potties. There is only one and we had to leave because someone wouldnt come out and we had waited 40 minutes to use it. Aside from that it is a nice park.

It was great to be at the park and seeing some kids having some fun with there family and friends

Has what was once a nice splash pad but sadly some of it wasn’t working. Thankfully small children don’t usually care about things like that so we had fun. There was plenty of shade and grassy areas. There were also plenty of trash cans but sadly people didn’t always opt to use them.

What a great place to relax and cool off on a typical HOT summer day. Picnic facilities. A childrens splash pool that even adults can be seen enjoying. Big trees, lots of shade, lots of fun for everyone.

My son loves the sprayers during the summer and this is also his favorite park all year

Unfortunately it is unclean and the city needs to make it nicer. You feel very unsafe here. If you bring your kids here keep a close eye on them. You never know whos watching you and your kids. YPD needs a lot more watch on this park. Especially at night when the Sun goes down. This side of town is known for people getting down people people doing drugs. I found three needles where I was sitting. We just need a safer town that will bring a lot more people to Miller Park. I feel bad for the neighbors that have lived there for years and years and it has gone downhill a lot please dont let your kids walk by themselves down there! Once or twice a year they have neighborhood watch parties that are not enough to keep this area on this feet. Please be aware of your surroundings on 3rd and D and 3rd and E. A lot of homeless people but other than that its a nice park with a water feature for kids to play in, twice Ive found needles in the ground now, I come here with my son, but I dont think I will again. If I find out who did it Ill rock their taco

The park is pretty clean

A beautiful park in the heart of Yakima near the municipal center. Grassy fields, basketball courts and shade trees provide a calming environment to enjoy a sunny afternoon. Picnic tables scattered here and there provide a place to have lunch or have a seat as you walk through the heart of the downtown corridor.Maintenance crew does a good job keeping everything ship-shape for residents who utilize this park. If you have a chance, swing by and walk around if youre looking for a spot to relax and enjoy a summer day or reflect on a cloudy afternoon.

Truthfully it looks like it used to be a great Park but because of the loitering, and all the homeless people sleeping all over do not recommend

Used to swim here as a kid. Pools no longer there. And can be a dangerous place at times. But we had a good birthday picnic here. During the day!!!

There are sprinklers kids can run through when its hot basic ball courts as well as jungle jim and swings and the gangs have been keeping the violence away from the park.

Convenient little waterpark for everyone to enjoy.

Used to have a historic swimming pool here. Miller Pool. In reality the first swimming that was located in the old original part of Yakima. That was torn down in 2005 and replaced with a spay toy. In the Summer the city hosts free Mariachi in the park events... Every Saturday or Sunday they host these music festivals for three to 4 hours and they bring pretty famous bands to play in the park for free. About 6 to 8 times. They also have four full size swimming pools. A parking lot. As well as the YPALsbuilding is right next door.

Centrally located, water play feature is clean and a welcoming addition on hot summer days. Perfect for birthday parties or bbqs with the family. Right next to YPAL, a great after school program.

Not the best looks, park, or the people that hang there. But an okay water park for Yakima.

This is a great local park for the community that is nearby. It offers a water park as well as a playground for families.

Druggies every corner and lining the streets doing their drugdeals. No good for kids to play with an RV full of meth heads 10 feet from the toys
