The park itself was nice. Actually pretty clean. Unfortunately the big parking lot is closed. So you cant park close to pond. Also closer to skate boarding part.... To many wanderers. Sad. And clear out the porta potty if your not going to keep it up. You know and see the problem. Anyone not addicted to drugs cannot go in there.

Such a great ball diamond! Spacious with lots of available seating for all 4 diamonds. Skate park is also on site as you drive in. Bathrooms avail. With the beautiful scenery, this is a must place for ball or just a place to relax!!

The play area was just right for the age that most of the children were.

I have been bringing my son here to skate since he was about seven, he is twelve now. I gave three starts because the skatepark itself is great, but the location not so much. Lots of transients and drug users, and often young kids that are troublemakers, who smoke and drink without a parent in sight to supervise them. However, the regulars that are there to skate are decent people have always been great with my son. I love that we have a skatepark like this in town and, as long as you are vigilant, recommend giving it a visit!

Need to pick this whole complex up and move it out of the ghetto. Fields are nice, but lock your car up, and come heavily armed! If you camp there overnight, expect to leave with less than you came with! This weekend was yet another yard sale for the homeless, with several of our group getting stuff stole overnight. Might I suggest playing tournaments in another place?

Its a really nicely designed skate park with the bowl and transfers and infinite number of lines to explore. The main problem I have is where this city decided to build the thing. Literally in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Yakima. Kids from other areas of town dont get exposure or use because of safety concerns, and rightly so. Ive never witnessed any violence but have heard of over a dozen fights and even some gun play on a few of those occasions. Its just too bad for the little ones that need a place to skate like that but cant because of knuckleheads that dont know how to act in a public place with kids around.

The park its self is awesome! Basketball courts, Baseball fields, a huge Playground and a wonderful Skate Park. The drawbacks are that it is so nice, people tend to want to live there. And when they leave their domicile when asked to move on, they dont bring everything they brought with them. The city staff does a pretty good job of making sure its nice, its just a hard neighborhood.

I appreciate the fact they have bathrooms available to the public. It seems like too often many of yakimas businesses are unwilling to facilitate any unexpected emergent need of customers at least in terms of providing a . It is greatly appreciated by myself as well as many others that these restrooms are maintained for a better yakima experience for locals as well as out of towners who may find them selves in need of such a rest stop as the one provided by Kiwanis Park. Thank you again for providing the community with such a needed luxury on a consistant bases.

We were visiting family in Ellensburg from Spokane & my son really wanted to scooter at this skate park. He really liked it but unfortunately he set his phone down and someone took off with it =(

The park I love I love going to Parks I had a picnic planned and it went out and I could not have the picnic for the simple fact I started having a lot of charley horses I call monkey bites all the time but we got home before it snowed so now we have more snow on the ground and no more picnics yet in the future but I will be planning some gas the snow decides to go away and not showers but we do need the water and everything is getting watered by the snow its also gain present by the snow so I I hope you are having a nice day and I will let you go and think about the parts we need Parks & picnics we have a lot of fun at and we can go feed the Ducks and we can go swimming in the pond if theyre its allowed and theres a lot of things we can do we can go up the hill and we can go running back down really quick and really fast we can sing along with the radio if we have battery is in the radio theres things that we can do that is very fun at the park and think about the park have fun enjoy

This is just a remarkable place you would have to visit there to understand it is absolutely just breathtaking with so much to do there you wont get bored I promise...

It would be nice if the pond was given a make over so the area around the pond would have more appeal. The ducks have been a part of this park since the time I was a little girl. Maybe its time to create a pond that will make visiting the ducks more to remember. How hard could it be to get a little creative with the landscape.

Probably the best skate park in Yakima also has softball fields a basketball court a playground and a really cool old boiler with a smokestack

Charged us $5 per person per day to go watch our son play tournament baseball, even though we already paid through the nose for him to play in the tournament. No other tournament locations do this. Ridiculous.........

Always a pleasant trip to the park at kiwanis. Large toy variety for all ages and there are basketball hoops,baseball fields and a skate park there also. And there is the pond you can feed the ducks and geese love it!

Softball, leagues from pre wee all the way up to grandpa teams but the womens games can be quite entertaining. Large playground for younglings and of course YAKIMAS foremost shredding turf. Refreshments and chow across the street at Mikes Fair Ave market.

I think its a nice park. Many options to do like skating, playing, or looking at the ducks. Great experience.

The major upgrade makes it much better looking community!

This is the best park to go to if you want a skateboard it has an amazing skatepark multiple areas to sit multiple layers of area to work with in an old abandoned building which probably is used for the lawn equipment

Yakimas Kiwanis park is a terrible place to play softball. Whoever is in charge of field maintenance needs to go to Wenatchees Walla Walla point park to see the difference.
