Our experience was not that great here. I understand that due to covid pandemic there must be a few changes made in how tastings are done but I have a few issues,1. For the payment and tasting we were allowed to enter their tasting room anyways but the resrooms which had access from outside were closed and they had a portapotty for their guests. Which was very odd as I was able to use restrooms in other places even with strict outdoor seating and other protocols. Not having good restrooms really ticks me off, more so in a winery.2. The wine tastings were very expensive, one was for $15 and other one for $18 which I thought was very expensive. But for good wines that is fine as well. But these werent good and on top of that they served it in plastic disposable glasses. With such an expensive tasting I would have preferred a good glass flight rather than a plastic glass.
Lack of basic customer service...Dont waste your time.
Hidden Gem!! We stayed here for one night over memorial day weekend and it was one of the best places we have stayed in Washington. Laurie the owner is so friendly. She recently transformed her winery into this charming air bnb so I dont think too many people know about it yet. The drive up to the winery is so picturesque with sweeping views of vineyards and the valleys. Once you get to the house it is surrounded by vineyards and an amazing view of the mountains. You have to share a bathroom but that didnt bother us. We stayed in the orchard view room which was a great size for two people and had an incredible sunrise/sunset view. We did the tasting for $7, great value! Plus they have free rhubarb bread which was delicious. You can take your tasting flight and sit in the picnic area. I cant say enough about this place, we caught ourselves saying we could live out here.
Delicious wine, lovely atmosphere, and Lori is the nicest!! Would come back every weekend!
Wonderful for a fun filled chill out in the evening. The wines are amazing with great information provided. The location is also great with pretty big crowd when we went on a Saturday.
My wife and I had a great time. Halen and Kristina were super nice. The wine is absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Melange Noir. We will definitely come back soon.
A very nice hike up to the winery. Chickens. A couple at a swing. A very nice place to unwind. Plus the view is amazing.
Beautiful winery, nice setup. Distillery was closed. Wine was good but not mind-blowing.
I really dont like to leave bad reviews, but the wines here are not deserving of the 4.6 star average. I found them to be watery, bland and overly dry. The server was friendly enough, but she was also fake. She contradicted herself giving opinions on wines between our party and the other one. I was also less than impressed with their policy to charge for a tasting after a bottle has been purchased. There are so many great vineyards in Washington Id pass and go to a better one.
Great wine and loved presentation by Rick on the Rock so interesting. Thanks.
Wonderful place! Family friendly! We brought a picnic lunch and we sat outside under the heater.
Really wonderful place. Just be warned: I was surprised one week later when I find out they charged my card twice for same one consumption. I contacted my credit card against fraud, which refunded my account from the wrong charged amount. I hope this never happen again.
I am from lynnwood WA close to Seattle area, we went over to Yakima to do some business over on that side and decided to go wine tasting as well. We came across this beautiful little gem of a place it is absolutely beautiful there, and the staff is super accommodating and friendly. There is a hike you can do within the winery ( not a difficult hike at all) which really adds to the experience. When we are back in town we will definitely be back!
The stars are all for ambience and great service. The estate reds are too young for my tastes.
Always a great experience! DO the hike up to the winery! Christine was an awesome wine guide!
Cute little tasting room. Several tables in the sun and on the big wrap around porch. 5$ for 4 wine tasting, but 8$ for 4 of their wines.
Fun little place. You can hike in on the Cowiche trail system. Definately worth the trip.
Dont expect to get any service here unless you are a winesnob. Waited 20 minutes to get Brandy samples as they helped everyone else that came in AFTER we did. And left empty handed
Beautiful organic, biodynamic winery on a hill adjacent to lovely Cowiche Canyon conservation land.
