We really enjoyed your tour! Our tour guide, Dan, was great and very informative! He’s been working and doing tours for over 30 years and had so much information to share and stories to tell. He was a great story teller, and since this was our first ever tour at Williamsburg we would highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back and do another tour during the day!

First, I will say it was super cool to be walking around Colonial Williamsburg after hours and it was raining on our night which should have made for a perfect scary ambiance...but it did not. While our storyteller was nice, she did not scare me or my family at all. She was way too bubbly for ghost stories and it seemed like she was trying to make us laugh more than she was trying to scare us. Granted, it was kid friendly, but it seemed to be a bit too kid friendly. If you are just a group of adults, I dont think you would find this ghost tour interesting. On top of that, she would not stay on track. She told one 18th century ghost story and then everything else were not-believable stories that apparently mediums have told staff. Not everyone believes in mediums. One of the more ridiculous things that was said was that the ghosts on the property apparently have ghost parties......right.....save your money, give it to a more scary attraction if you are actually trying to be scared!

Ghost tour: Our guide was not good. Her stories were inaccurate at times and not a great story teller.Too many people in groups during a pandemic/ she would tell people to move closer due to other groups?!?!

I’d say it’s great for kids that want to hear fun ghost stories. That being said, my boyfriend and I fell asleep during the last stop (mind you there were only 3) and the stories weren’t relevant to the buildings at all. Just what some employees have experienced. Day tours were much more historically accurate and interesting.

Very fun tour!! It was so much fun that I booked a second one the next day, and no tour is the same. I would happily go back and do it again. The stories were spooky/captivating and gave us some history too. It also gave us an inside look into the houses after hours (my first tour alittle more then my second one) it was great.

It was just ok. Very cool being in the buildings at dark but the stories were not very believable. We got a bit bored. The day time tours and story tellers were much much better.

Haunted Williamsburg is a enchanting evening of candle light walks, with local folk lore/ghost story telling, a great way spend the evening with someone you love.

We had a pretty cool tour with big Dan. He is a great story teller and Williamsburg is the perfect scenery for a haunted tour.

Great tour the guide was great. The price was fine. It was a history lesson as well as the ghost story. Arrive early to make sure you get with a good guide. There is a book that has all the stories in it. Very well worth going on.

Very disappointing. The stories were not well told. The storys were not set in a historical context, rather the experiences of a few employees. There was nothing interesting or scary about it. Lasted 1 hour. Not worth the money.

Dont waste your money. Denny told several stories about security guards seeing ghost with red eyes and moving candles. My kid could make up and tell better stories . Could have been so much better . We were very disappointed .

Michelle was an awesome story teller. Every year we try to do something different and we really wanted to do this even though not was January. I am so glad we did. It was a very fun evening. Our guide, Michellebwas very knowledgeable and was an excellent narrator. My only regret was not scheduling the extended tour. Great evening!!

I took the extreme ghost tour and it wasnt that extreme at all. I would have rather spent the money on dinner at a seafood place or admission to James Town or someplace else. Our guide was Clair and it seemed like she was in a hurry to get through to the end. There were also two college bros on the tour that had obviously had too much to drink and kept interrupting and making crass jokes.
