The history is wonderful. There is nothing like going out, eating a great meal with good company and then walking Colonial Williamsburg. Its a tradition in my family. Theres a reminiscent comforting feel as you walk along the street. The sound of horses hooves clip clopping along happily pulling carriages, the smell of homemade soaps and leather works as you take in the beauty of the gardens. The construction of the homes is fascinating. I sadly have never bought tickets to go inside the places, but I assure you that I will my next visit. You must visit an take a stroll down by the Governors Palace. Wonderful experience every time.
Great place to visit - watch out for the stairs. Sadly you cant take any of the muskets.
Very impressive collection of authentic and reproduction colonial era weapons. The reenactors are very helpful and informative. Quite an interesting place to visit. Very nicely done.
Interesting architecture and demonstration.
A great experience is to be had seeing a wide assortment of original 18th-century weapons inside a restored 304-year-old historic building. When visiting C.W., this site should not be missed!!!
The people here are genuine and lovely. Exhibits amaze and edify visitors. Very different setting than our usual lives
Great historical building.

Excellent trip seeing Colonial life and our nations history
Nice historic place
I learn something new every time I go there. The guides in period dress are exceptionally knowledgeable and the prices are very fair.
Enjoyed the presentation from highly knowledgable guide.
Gorgeous walk and scenery surrounding, wish we did not get rained out could have gonna stayed all day.
Beautiful grounds. Relaxing
Very interesting for people interested in military history
They keep a fine collection of replica as well as a few original flintlock weapons here. All the necessary equipment to go with an armory are on display snd the interpreter was able to answer a wide range of questions. This was one of the few original buildings that survived to the present time, and serves as a symbol to the attempt by the British to disarm the city by robbing the magazine and making off with the guns to a ship anchored off Yorktown.
Trash needs to be picked up. Potholes are terrible in Merchants Square parking. Limbs trimmed at least two weeks ago still behind ticket office. Really that area should be an embarrassment to CW.
Had a great time going into all the shops
Helpful tool. Lots of coupons and places of interest
