Lovely home and gardens. Definitely worth a visit to hear how the Rockefellers saved Colonial Williamsburg.
Awesome look at the house the Rockefellers lived in while directing the rebuilding of historic williamsburg
A very nice tour if you want to learn some of the back story of how Colonial Williamsburg came to be.
Very interesting to see this old John D. Rockefeller getaway home.
First time visiting, been to Williamsburg over 25 years. Our tour guide was very informative
Hurrah for the Rockefellers! Spent 58 million restoring Williamsburg. Their home here is done up in the 1940s their own furnishings. We had a great tour with Chuck!
Excellent colonial house with good displays and rich history behind it.
Well maintained historical site with a very knowledgeable staff providing tours.
Amazing! It is off more by itself but has its own parking lot. Very well worth the time to see we felt.
Lovely home of the benefactors of Williamsburg. Its only open Thursdays and Saturdays, so plan accordingly. Its included in admission to the Dewitt.
The home is beautiful and is decorated as the the Rockefeller family used it when they lived in it .
Loved it!!! Very cool very worth the walk.
Wow, this should be the first stop when you visit Williamsburg. It sets the stage for all of historic Williamsburg. The staff was very well informed of the property.
Dont miss this place on your tour of Colonial Williamsburg. The guide was superb.
Mrs. Rockafellers favorite home. I get it.
Very interesting tour and information about the Rockefellers.
It was a wonderful experience to step back into history and see how the Rockefellers lived. The guided tour of the lovely home, preceded by the introductory film was excellent. The Rockefellers were good stewards of the wealth that God entrusted to them. This was displayed through their humility, generosity and philanthropy.
Bassett Hall Rockerfellows home in Williamsburg. Great house and tour guide was very knowledgeable and didnt rush. A must if you go to Williamsburg.
Wonderful tour of the Rockefeller home in Williamsburg.
Interesting and beautiful
I had no idea how instrumental the Rockefellers were in the preservation of our nations history.
Friendly tour guide. Beautiful house!!!
Lovely period home with period furniture.
This was a cool tour! Chuck did a great job too. I had no idea that the Rockafellers funded colonial Williamsburg, or really anything about them. The house is set up like the 1940s, lots of antiques and fun things to see. We actually did this tour first upon arriving at the town, I was glad we did because we saw how much work went into its construction. We loved knowing about the town that they tore down and the buildings they built. All the research and money that went into the place. It was very informative!
The house was good but a self guided tour would have been better
Lovely home of the Rockefeller family not what you would expect. You do need a colonial Williamsburg ticket to view the house
A perfect time capsule! I got dejavu
Great visiting the Rockefellers home away from home.
Historical home of the Rockefeller family. Did not even know that this home was here. Been here many times but overlooked it. Beautiful place and great tour.
The lady who gives you the tour is unbelievably knowledgeable about the house and its history.
Loved this place! Really gave a great feel for the story of the family!
Great place to see. Jackie who was our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable.
This was John D. and Abby Rockefellers home in Williamsburg and has nearly all original furnishings and decorative objects. Very well presented.
A great place to visit while in Williamsburg. It will tell you how historic Williamsburg came to be. Its nice how they have restored it to much of its original state.
Fascinating home, just as they had it in the 1930s, well worth a visit. A nice tribute to the Rockefellers.
It was nice very nice staff
