A great waterfall that can be seen in many stages, roaring water, frozen falls, or almost no water at all. Wonderful sight to see

The best hidden waterfall in the Wilkes-Barre area! It doesnt have much of a swimming area but the views of this stunning waterfall is right off the road. No parking area but there is enough space for a few cars to fit on the rocky area around the entrance. It is a challenging hike to the top so I would not recommend if you are not an experienced hiker. Either way, it is a hidden wonder of Pennsylvania that will wow anyone who visits.

Beautiful little spot. The lack of rain meant they were just a trickle when we stopped to see them. And no hiking at all, they were just steps off the roadside.

Beautiful peaceful place to sit and collect your thoughts. Its a gem!!! Remember too wear accurate shoes.

Beautiful and safe for families as we dont have to trek a mile or two to see the falls. Just a hundred feet away from the road. If you walk safely on the right side of the trail and get down near the first tree on my photo, you can reach near the water (ofcourse watch for the slippery spots). I took my 2 yr old and he loved it.PS: just watch for the broken bottles in some spots.

This is a great little waterfall to take photos or simply sit and enjoy! If you are a photographer, you’ll want to come earlier in the day because it is quite hidden in the woods and you’ll lose light the closer you get to sunset!

A phenomenally accessible frozen fall along roadside. I am told by locals that water flow is intermittent typically at best and flow is best, like most Falls, in spring and after heavy rainfall. I felt blessed to have seen this completely frozen as it seemed to expand itself wider due to freezing reasons. Got and up close and personal look with a set of micro spikes which facilitated me taking some angle shots I typically wouldn’t get otherwise. It’s definitely a stop and check out kind of site and especially if your staying at one of the local B&B’s. I see in other reviews...can’t beat the coziness of the Bear Creek Inn right up the road to stop in.

The waterfall is so beautiful, and is a very short walk off the side of the road. The short trail is in its natural state and unmanicured, with some wet areas, but is easily navigated with a little care. All in all, a great place to visit, especially on a hot day, as the shade of the trees and the cascading water keep it several degrees cooler near the falls.

Very peaceful and calming. You can hike all the way up to the top of the fall but it doesnt have like a trial for that. Overall, its a great experience.

This is a beautiful waterfall, ON THE SIDE OF A ROAD!! If youre near there you can stop to see it. No hiking, just a photo op. No picnic area. Parking for maybe 3-4 cars. Whoever put the road there made a boo-boo.

Beautiful road side falls that normally you would have to hike for. A known photo backdrop for weddings, receptions, and other special events. Well worth stopping by on your way to the nature preserve. Not the most accessible if you want to venture into the rest of the park, but thats to be expected with the cliffside that creates the Falls.

Easy access from either route 115 or the Francis E. Walter Dam. Very pretty, very tall waterfall right along the road. Looks to be a path that takes you to the top, though, due to time constraints, I did not take it, another time. Bear Creek Cafe is just a short drive away too!

Been going here since I was a little boy. Beautiful place, keep it clean floks. Take your garbage home instead of dropping it on mother nature or Ill plaster your face on social media from the cameras I bought and installed myself.If the township wants to put this on the map they shud take the time to police the area once in a while.And by the way, a fine for littering is now doubled. And I am there once a week or more to check out the cameras and have no problem sharing your face for any trash left behind. Enjoy and be safe.

Beautiful waterfalls with easy access from White Haven Road

Theres something special about easily-accessible beauty. It may not be the prettiest waterfall in the area, but its about 50 feet from the (very small) parking area- making it the perfect addition to a road trip stuffed with exhausting outdoor activities.
