Excellent trail with great views. A nice loop and somewhat paved for most of the way. There are trail markers so it is easy to follow your desired path. Lots of dogs and friendly people on this trail. Would definitely recommend. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there is not too much available parking.

I was looking for a walking trail near the house. Came across Arroyo Pescadero after a Google search. You have the choice of two trails. During these times its nice to get out and get fresh air. Other walkers are very considerate and keep their distance and wear their masks. This has become my go to trail.

A good place to train. I say that cause there are usually a lot of people . I use to train for larger hikes. The city does a great job maintaining it. My hats off to the people who maintain it.

We loved this trail! Plenty of space for the kids to run around and features nice wide trails with plenty of shade trees throughout. The parking lot can fill up, bit be patient, someone typically leaves every 5-10 minutes.

This is a beautiful trailhead nestled just north of Whittier. The path splits into either a long trail that goes straight out and straight back or another trail that does a loop either way you will have a wonderful time.My only warning is that you know theres limited parking so it may be hard to find a spot sometimes.

Cool spot to go for hike with kids. If they dont feel like doing much hiking its just a small loop down and back up to the top. I like to make it a little longer when I go for run so I connect the trail to the other side of Colima Road and add some more miles to it. Has nice parking lot.

I came here for a bike ride but immediately saw a sign that says no bikes. Fortunately the map at the information station showed that the Arroyo San Miguel Trail is open to mountain bikes. Beautiful vegetation and wild flowers this time of year. Lots of rabbits out. I noticed a portable toilet and a drinking fountain at the parking lot (which was surprisingly full by 7:30 AM on a week day).

Wow, this place is a lot bigger than I thought. Lots of windy trails to choose from, and very quiet and easy to get to. Good for dogs, but you have to watch the signs because some of the trails dont let dogs on them. Also there is a fine for if you let your dogs off leash. Even so, me and my family had a really good time there and we will definitely go again.

A great place to go hiking. Just be aware that theres a trail where you cannot take your dog as it is harmful to the wildlife if your dog marks their territory. However, there is a loop trail where you are allowed to walk your dog. Very beautiful area to walk around or get some exercise. Parking could be limited so keep that in mind.

The Arroyo Pescadero Trail is a great 3 mile loop or 6 mile out and back. The loop is wide enough and well enough cared for that you can take a jogging stroller. We have hiked this trail with children, dogs, and several combinations, thereof. My only wish is that it would be better cared for. Many dog owners do not pick up after their dogs and it is not cleaned often.

Basic southern California landscape. (Dry). Nice elevation changes and many places to rest for us old timers. Off to the west, at the higher elevations you can see the buildings in downtown LA,
