Really nice great friendly people. The only bad thing is that right now with the covid only 1 person can use the dog play areas at a time, so the dogs cant all play with one another. It really sucks but i understand why. Other then that its also a great place to bring your kids. There is parks for them to play on. There is also a big jogging track and workout equipment free to the public. I love this park. By far one of my favorites!!

The park has a variety of full and partial shade areas as well as sunny spots. Many places for people to sit while watching pups run. Ample water sources for your furry friends.

Fenced. Mostly mowed. Bags and fountains. Safe enuf (2 size dog pens.). Park worth the trip tho (do a walk and then let em go).

Grass was a bit long, my ankles got bit up by little noseeums/fleas. But the overall park was great, lots of walking trail to use and the small dog area seemed to have a couple of things for pups to play on. The fence in the large dog area on one side is literally rotted wood panels that are falling. And there was a pile of dead palms in the dog area (that will slice a pup wide open!).I took my 8 month olf boxer mix, he played a ton with a dog. That same dog bit him after 45 minutes trying to defend his tennis ball (my dog was NOT trying to take it, he doesnt play ball). If owners know their dog is defensive over toys, maybe mention it to others or just dont bring the toy. A woman came in with treats and I kindly explained if she intended to use them to keep an eye out for my dog because he is food defensive. My park at home does not allow food so I normally dont worry. Awsome, place to take your dogs for exercise, they provide water for dogs, and doggie bags and a enclosed run for dogs to run free in and play with other dogs.

Five star review just went down to zero, or one, because I just barely made it to the dog park and they kicked us out at 10 minutes of 8 when the sign says Sunset, which is 816 today. Thats easily a half hour before the park supposed to close when they kicked everybody out. Two separate areas for small dogs and large dogs fencing is good...

NOT for small dogs! Pretty park, lots of shade, especially on the large dog side. While I didnt check out all the fencing, it seemed to be secure for large dogs. BEWARE taking your small dogs here, though. I have a mix of small (Chihuahuas) and large (Retriever and Husky). My chihuahuas could run in and out of all the gates (including the outer security gate because the opening between the gate jamb and the gate was wide enough for small dogs to fit through. So my little guys ran in and out of the small dog park and into the large dog park without even having an open gate. One of them even decided to run out of the small park and out the security gate. It does not contain small dogs safely at all!But the side for large dogs is spacious and has benches and trees and even a picnic table. I was there for about 2 hours and saw one other person at the park.The person who designed the dog waterers was not a dog person, however. They are located at the front of the park near the gate directly in the sun. The water comes out hot, the bowl is hot and the button that you have to stand there and press for the water is hot. Not well planned.So for large dogs, this is a good place to let them run around in. Just dont take your little ones unless you dont care if they can get in and out of the enclosures.

I have yet to visit this park when theres anyone else there, so cant attest to the atmosphere. Both sections of the park are fairly large. Theres plenty of grass and theres sand where there isnt, so no muddy dogs! Lots of trees for shade and some seating. Not the prettiest, but it serves its function well.(((My pups and I have visited over a dozen dog parks and beaches at the time of this review.)))

People need to clean up after their dogs here! I brought my Dobbie here and he ended up getting sick about a week or so later. There was poop everywhere!

Not very many dogs.. the ones that came & went were friendly there, but definitely more sand than grass.. which made me nervous walking around with my dog that there were tons of red ants in the sand. We were there in the evening, before sunset- around 5ish to 6:30pm & the mosquitoes were bad!
