Nice place to sit and have lunch. Watch the boats traveling the intracoastal waterway. Park has public restrooms and an easy accessible boat ramp.

This is a nice space for fishing and playing a game of tennis. There is also a nice playground for young children. Unfortunately, there are lots of homeless people around this park, but it is also nice that those individuals have a nice open space as well as some covered areas to rest. I was not approached by any of the homeless people while I toured the park.

Lots of parking! Nice walk way! We were easily able to get in a few miles. Awesome access to water about a mile down the walkway!! Presences of apparently homeless in a few spots.

Look I love people, but if youre going there with your kids just keep an extra close eye on them because they have a lot of people laying around at times, sometimes you dont even see them there until you get close. I know they cant do any better but you still have to keep your kids safe

Great park to drop the boat into the water, the inlet is just about a mile away and good fishing. A few homeless people were hanging out, they didnt bother us, they just use the facility which were not that great. However currently it is under renovation (as seen in the photos below) I wonder how the renovations will be, the boat ramp is getting new concrete and dock repair.

This park serves as a simple majestic moment for my daughter and I to take a break from the bustling of the day.We love the simplicity, perfect view of the ocean ..... beautiful mental break!!!

I love going out here and clearing my mind. . Is usually a lot of people. But the atmosphere is nice. The park and surroundings are always clean.

Be ready to see lots of trash ... no one cares... trash cans are all over the place and they are empty because sadly is easy to just throw it on the floor than in the can that is 3 steps away

Run down space filler. Too many birds in trees over shadow the playground structure so it is covered in poo :(

Not sure whats going on with all the people without shelter congregating there. Its not as nice as it used to be.

Its a good place to go fishing at but keep an eye on your children, its infested with homeless people and rats.

Its a very nice park. I just wish the city would open up some of these abandoned building to benefit the homeless that are sleeping in the park. . .

While fishing, I reeled in several plastic bags. Waterway is somewhat littered with human waste. Picnic areas are occupied by the homeless.

I was spending the day in West Palm Beach and decided to fish. The park is okay, it looks okay. They dont have garbage cans in the pier so they have a black plastic bag. The rails are in poor condition. The problem is that theres so many homeless people there and around that you get kinda creeped out. The fishing was not good around 11 AM. It was windy and cold. We only got one small grunt.

I Enjoy watching The Kids play.

This park is mainly for the homeless. Shelters are nearby, and churches and other organizations serve food daily. Im not insulting the park or the homeless, they are humans too and deserve a place to be, just giving a heads up to the vacationers.Its not all bad and still pretty safe thanks to intelligent and respected security guards and the local police.Those that frequent the park know the rules, and keep the place decently clean and illegal activities out of sight.The boat ramp is pretty good but does get a little slippery on the shore when trailering a boat, but theres usually a local or two nearby thatll gladly help push for a few bucks. There are also duck boat tours here as well.

It was not so nice. You got homeless people sleeping in the park. Big rats running around with the homeless people. What happened to currie Park? Food on the ground also trash every where.

This is a great park. If youre homeless and if its raining the museum gazebo building has a porch that goes all the way around it. Just be careful when you sleep there. Keep your stuff close to you and take your stuff with you when you leave. If you sleep there, just make sure you get up and leave in the morning, or youll get into trouble and/or arrested by the West Palm Beach County police department.

U can go there for PEACE and I LOVE the water..

If they would stop the crackheads and bums from LIVING at the two pavilions, itd be a great family experience. As it stands, crackheads and bums have the area around the pavilions and the restrooms and the benches near the M. L. King Jr memorial cluttered with their belongings and themselves. EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Nice ramps but it would be nice if you were not hounded by homeless wanting to help get your boat in or out of the water every time you go !

WAY TOO MANY HOMELESS PEOPLE! Thank God I walk with a chunky pitbull! I did not feel safe at all! This was my first time there; Im a woman just out for a serene walk with my dog; THERE WERE HOMELESS MEN COMING OUT OF THE WOODWORK! (There are homeless women there as well, but overall, I didnt feel safe). And there are lots of woodwork. The fishing pier is shabby, theres trash all over the park, and the place reeked of urine! OMG, THE URINE SMELL WAS SO BAD! I loved seeing the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial statue, but there were homeless people lying directly on the ground underneath it. Like, what happened to the dream? The stench was gut wrenching! This place is filled with people life grace up on, and who gave up on life! It was so depressing! I had a better walking/strolling experience outside of the park, on the walkway path, near the street. When I saw the sun setting, I hurried back to my car; ..wouldnt want to be caught out there after dark!!!

Nice park

The park is a nice and relaxing place by the water and minutes from City Place as well as the night life. The play area needs be updated from smaller children but there is plenty open space. Be careful if you are just relaxing after dark because of the poor lighting.

Its was nice, I took my girlfriend to the park we walked around, checked the MLK monument, then we Sat down at this bench and started to feel on each other, and made love to each other

Under construction at the moment but is going to turn out to be a very beautiful boat ramp and Park County has went out of their way to make a very pleasant place for the taxpayers

The City is improving the area, so there is some construction going on. Most of the park is still available, including the pier which accommodates fishing.

I had a very nice visit to this park. It was clean, quiet and the view of Palm beach was very nice. This place is great for a ending spot for a date. Thank me later.

Good boat ramp just watch out for vagrants walking the park in morning and evening. People sleep in there cars as well leaving there trash in parking lot. County needs to step up and stop this issue.

Dont ever go walking past or into this park, unless you dont mind being harassed for money, told all kinds of sad story ploys to get money from you. This is quite a shame the city hasnt tried to clean this park up. It would be a wonderful venue for all the people who love nearby, like myself. Way too dangerous. The other problem is when there are feedings there for the homeless who live in this park, they dump their trash all over the ground. If these organizations are going to feed there, they need to clean up the mess.

This is a beautiful park with lots of potential. However, this park is home to many residents. I would love to see this park cleaned up. The Citu of WPB worked so hard to renovate the public restrooms last March and they are now destroyed.

Always enjoy going to this park. They use to hold the seafood festival here, which I thought was more appropriate than where they holds it now. Now its inland, why not have it by the water? This park is a really nice place to just relax, walk or even do a little fishing.

Really nice park on the ocean. Good fishing pier, lots of tables & benches. Tennis courts, bathroom, kids playground. The only thing they need is an adult workout area. Would like to workout here.
