Very nice botanical gardens. Friendly staff, clean and inexpensive. The only thing that I would say is that some of the trails dont connect or end. It take a little longer to find your way around, but seeing how it is a very nice garden it is not troubling unless your on a time crunch.

This is a beautiful place to visit over and over. Lots of varied things to see, all sorts of flowers, vegetation, trees, water features, ponds, and even a fantastic outdoor and indoor working model train village. There are several wonderful spots for a picnic or eating at tables. My family and I love spending time here. It is always very peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. Highly recommend.

We had a grand time exploring this multifaceted paradise. Way out in the middle of nowhere but well worth our 1.5 hour drive. A lot is shade along the paths but we went ready to sweet and that we did. Take the golf cart your so you get an overview of the gardens. This is a unique single family developed garden. It is a gift to the region. We have been to botanical gardens in many states and this garden was fun to visit. Be sure to see their toy train setup.

The Clark Gardens is by far one of my favorite places to visit. I enjoy the design, the feel and the level of detail here there and everywhere. The G-Scale Trains are gorgeous. So excellently molded into their little area. Some train displays kind of Beat you over the head with the install. Whatbi mean is, some places carve out a dedicated area to have a display and its usually a high contrast to the surroundings.NOT THIS DISPLAY! This one is wonderfully woven into the aesthetic that if you werent careful, you might miss it. BUT once you do realize whats going on, little details pop out and take you for a little journey.Big Thanks to everyone at The Clark Gardens!

Went to painting with a twist offsite, at the Amazingly beautiful Clark gardens. Outside, socially distanced, under a covered pavilion. Johnny was Amazingly friendly, and skillful, and helpful, as I am Not skilled... Lol. :0)But with his guidance I am happy with the experience and the painting I made! We had a lot of fun, great way to spend Saturday morning. Clark gardens is so pretty All year, we became members and used our membership for admission to gardens across the southwest on our vacation to Colorado, this fall, which included reciprocal admission (no charge) to Amarillo, Santa Fe and Durango Colorado botanical gardens. Shout out to Beverly at Clark gardens for recommending membership! Hope yall have more events like the painting event today!!!

This is such a wonderful and happy place. It’s intention is to take care of nature, and spread happiness through it to all that are fortunate enough to experience it. My wife and I had a wonderful time learning about the plants, trees, flowers, and especially the “train” station there. All of the people there were extremely friendly and helpful. We strongly recommend it to everyone.

This place is a true hidden gem. Be prepared to walk. There isn’t a lot of shade, so during the summer months, be prepared. The gardens itself is very pretty. It’s laid out sort of wide open. There never seems to be crowds here, but the last two times I went, they were preparing for a wedding. Btw, this would be a great place to get married. They even have a chapel on the grounds. Well worth a trip to see.

My husband and I live in Dallas and had been talking about bringing his Mother here for years - she lives in Mineral Wells and we never make enough time to walk the gardens whenever we come to town to visit her. Well, a few weekends ago, we made time as a surprise for Mothers Day and made a day of it.The love that is in these gardens is so very evident in every step that you take. From the employee in the ticket shop that was so kind to tell us about his favorite spots in the garden - and you could tell how much he loved the garden - to the immaculate presentation, care and grooming of the grounds itself. Being able to walk around and get lost within the paths and see native Texas plants, flowers, and herbs is just breathtaking. There are benches here and there for those that have trouble walking so you are able to rest - and even some places that have tables and chairs under shade. We found ourselves at one of those very tables close to closing on the day of our trip when one of the Gardens employees came to let us know they would be closing soon, and when my Mother in law made a joke that she didnt know if she could make it back to the front gates in 30 minutes (we were quite a distance at that point) he came back to get us in a 6 seat golf cart, even driving us to our car in the parking lot. I was so very impressed by that - everyone that we talked to during our visit was very attentive - they really seemed to care about their job. That was awesome.Im very glad that we came - this is a hidden gem that I will be back to for a lovely stroll in a beautiful tranquil place.

Most of this garden is shaded. We went when it was over 90 and felt comfortable. The paths are a very fine redish gravel. Stroller and wheel chair friendly.  There is a fountain (viewing pool) where the brick steps are about 3 inches high.  That was the only place where there was a little bump and the stroller did fine. There were drinking fountains in a few places. A few places covered where you could sit and have a snack. You could sit by the water in a covered area. There is model train station where the train goes inside and outside. We sat in there and watched the trains for a bit and had a snack. My 3 year old had a good time watching trains,  watching ducks,  picking up sticks and chasing squirrels. No one bothered us. There is an area for weddings, very pretty. The place is in the middle of no where.  If you are looking for somewhere to have lunch,  Weatherford isnt too far away.  $9 for adults, 3 and under is free.

I paid for my venue in a year in advance. Several months before my wedding my Dad died and I didnt want to have the wedding. They made me show them my Dads obituary to prove he died to reschedule. By that time I ddidnt want to have my wedding at a place like that. They would not give a refund of the $5,000 or even a small portion. So they made a free $5,000 for doing absolutely nothing. If you want a place with heart Id skip this place. They dont care about you only the money.

This is a beautiful hidden gem off the beaten path in the DFW area if you love beautiful flowers, trees and plants. The place began life as landscaping one couples property to satisfy their love of plants and gardening and grew into acres of beautiful plants and scenery that they then donated to become a lovely park. And the story and history of the couple who created it, Max and Billie Clark, is as quintessentially American Dreams as it gets. (The fact that you can still spot Max, at 91, out tending the gardens he built with his late wife is also really special.) Id recommend coming in the spring - though Ive only seen it at that time of year - because the place is simply teeming with flowers in bloom and monarch butterflies flitting around. Its definitely worth the trip to sleepy Mineral Wells to walk in these gardens and even visit some of the other nature-focused sites in the area.

Weve been here a few times. Beautiful place. You can stay here for at least a few hours especially if you love plants. Go in the spring and you will see the most beautiful irises that you are also able to purchase. Its not very wheelchair accessible as I tried to push my dad in his wheelchair over some of the gravel paths. BUT they do have a golf cart type tour for a charge. I would recommend this for elderly people. Otherwise its great walking exercise with beautiful flowers. Dont expect Fort Worth Botanical Gardens type-of-place, but to me its way more relaxing, kind of like your grandmothers backyard if she had a few acres....

Since we had a membership with the Dallas Arboretum, we could get free admission to Clark Gardens. We had no idea how beautiful the gardens would turn out to be. Absolutely gorgeous ponds, gardens, pavilions, and chapel. It looks like you can rent parts out for weddings and the like. It was borderline hot for late April but well before the insufferable heat of summer, when they intelligently close. Highly recommend a trip out here, especially on a weekday like we did so we had the place to ourselves.
