Gorgeous getaway while our son was having heart surgery at UVA. Getting into nature helped calm us as a family. Met a beautiful couple that married in this location 9 years earlier. Missed connection but great blessing and company ️ Should have gotten her number! Make friends people. Its always worth it

The view is amazing. You are actually in the clouds.

Although the Park is Closed the views are still OPEN

As I approached sawmill Run overlook I think I was more impressed of the road I was driving on. Coming up to the Overlook you are going through a tunnel of trees and during the fall you know what that means a ton of colors how awesome is that. The Overlook itself is average but you have plenty of parking and I was able to get a good shot or two. This overlook is located at milepost marker 95.o and its at an elevation level of 2200.
