Went there to eat lunch. Because of Covid the picnic area was closed. The baseball diamond is open. There was a little league game going on. We decided to eat in the car under a big shade tree. It was a nice day so it was nice and relaxing. The usual have a picnic paviollion and basketball courts but they were blocked off because of Covid19

Nice park in town, has one ball field and a playground, parking was ample. Two sets of bathrooms and theres construction going on at the river. With that said we still had a great time

This is the northern boundary for the Waynesboro section of the South River trout catch and release area. Relatively easy access to the river.

A nice park with water nearby, a short trail in the back, and lovely grass. If not for the industrial noise (Ala most of Waynesboro) it would be a perfect place.

We had our church picnic recently at North Park and had a wonderful time. The venue is very spacious and clean. The bathrooms are right there at the shelter and were surprisingly clean. We will definitely be back again next year!

Should be seating at the basketball court. Without having to steal a picnic table from the pavilion, but otherwise a great park with a nice walking trail

North Park has a playground, basketball court, picnic areas, restrooms. North Park usually holds several baseball games during the season. The playground is just the right size to bring your family, the swing set, is set for both toddlers and big kids. Just enough field to maybe fly kites, if your out of the way of the trees. Theres plenty of shade to get out of the sun. They have an outside grill for public use. As well as offers to the PokemonGo community this park is a pokestop. :)

Really like this park its small and not as much people so if u have little ones u dont have to worry to much of the bigger kids running them over

North Park is a nice park to take the kids to enjoy the play area with swings and a jungle gym. Theres also a little league baseball diamond and basketball courts. If youre down there, feel free to take a lunch to the pavilion and enjoy the shade. Nice and clean place to spend the afternoon with family.

As an out of town visitor, this park was small, but nice & clean. There was a baseball tourney going on, so parking was difficult. Playground was well maintained & restroom facilities were available.
