That is a very nice park. Very large open area. A river runs beside it. People are tubing in the river. Its really beautiful. Very well maintained.

Waynesboro should be immensely proud of their wonderful park. A pastoral oasis that offers the citys residents vistas and venues for both the solitary walker hoping to enjoy tranquility and reflection, and the gathering of numbers hoping to revel in festive communal camaraderie. The park is well designed, clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended!!!

This is one of the top 5 parks I’ve ever been to. It’s beautiful and there’s a public swimming pool which I thought was pretty cool! You can tube down the river, or kayak, and kids can swim.

Ridgeview Park is a very nice place. It has many things for people to do. There could be more picnic tables available and benches to set on. If theres a party in the shelter or gazebo there wasnt many places to eat.

I love going to the park. We were able to go by Klines drive-through and pick up ice cream And meet friends at ridgeview temperatures and were able to play catch up since we have not been able to see them for months all socially distanced. It was a mixed bag of people some wearing masks others notThe park has a great childrens playground, 2 picnic areas, Several wooded trails great birding and the river Runs through it and And is nice for fly fishing.

Only 2 baby swings but otherwise it was great.

Kids loved it and went home exhausted. Large play area, open restrooms, nice bridge, flowing water, large fields, and several spots where you couldt sit down to eat.

It was my first time there and it was beautiful! They close too early, in my opinion.

Great place for families. Has a canoe and kayak launch. Theres a short run where kids floated down river to launch site. During my visit there were 4 pairs of Canadian geese with several month or so old Goslings each.

Very cute little park, they have something for everyone. A nice safe playground for kids and paths for running or walking. They have a community pool that is clean but it does cost money, not a lot though.

In Waynesboro, if you want to take a pleasant walk along the South River, Ridgeview Park has several trails to do that. The park also has a pool and athletic fields, so in warm months will be more crowded. My wife and I had a hike during the off season and it was pleasant and serene.

Its a beautiful park.. the pool is great to bring your grandchildren... Only negative is that it use to be free for seniors.. now its not.... So going daily for a week can be pricey especially after.a month. Do t know why they had to change that. Some people can not afford to do it. Its a great day if the sun keeps shining.. if not and you pay and 10 min later it rains.. no rain checks.. the park and pool are great. The new policies are not

Nice large Park, along the river.

Beautiful place to spend the day. We passed through during a road trip and Im very glad we went a little further off the interstate to come here, rather than a rest stop. Great playground for the kids, the stream is clean, and the landscaping is gorgeous.

The park is pretty good but the way the redesigned the parking lot is ridiculous. It cut out a lot of space. And made it harder to get out if its crowded.

The ordering process to me is not ideal especially in a small location. Im not sure who the friend of the staff was that kept hanging around where the food was being made, but it was a distraction, the disagreement on where to put tickets for fry orders probably needed to be done in private, though we do thoroughly appreciate the military discount. The food took an incredibly long time to be made and announced. It was good food though.

Nice place for a walk. River was low, but the rocks are cool enough. Lots of space to play, and clean.

Has a great tennis court that i love to play on. The river behind the court is beautiful with ducks and kayakers. Huge baseball field. Lots of space. Oh yeah, the public paid swimming pool.

Always enjoy the park. The Extravaganza was awesome. The fireworks lasted for 30 minutes it is hard to beat that.

I love going here. Watching the ducks, squirrels, and other wild life is so relaxing.

Abosolutely a must see. Great place for family and friends of all ages and personalities. Their pool has cruddy hours but other than that its one of the best places in the area.

Beautiful park. Perfect in this weather. The playground is large and maintained. Plenty of trails by the river. The shore was recently renovated to remove some of the larger rocks and allow the natural plants to come back. Looks great and gives you an easier path to the water.

Great little park! Playground area is divided up in 2 sections for the little ones and then the bigger kids. Multiple tball and baseball fields, tennis courts, fishing pier, soccer fields, boat entry for kayaking/canoeing on the river, and nature trails through the woods behind the soccer fields. Fun, affordable public family pool. Wading pool for the little one and the main pool is divided up into three sections, shallow, mid, and deep. Each section having their own lifeguard. The deep end having g two diving boards. One low and one medium. Great way to spend a couple hours or the day.

This is a perfect place for children, elders, and all ages in between. I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. They have a beautiful river, playset, serenity garden, and a awesome path around the river. I absolutely had a great time with my mom and puppy, and Im sure they did too.
