I love Renfrew! Every time I’m there it takes me back in time a little bit. I love the history of the place. They have great concerts in the summer, the have an amazing earth day celebration. And no matter what you’re there for, you can always walk the paths, relax by the creek, play in the park. It’s a very chill place to be, a great place to slow down and be in nature.

Great place to just get away. Built in the 1700s Renfrew is truly Magical during the holidays and thru the yr they always have some kind of special event. I personally think that the historical society should link up with Renfrew next Christmas and show all the old black & white photos that are framed of Waynesboros past. Its sad they are just locked up in a room collecting dust. This would be more accurate than having a stock print room of old poker game cards cool yet was a bomb for myself. Wish I could give twrds the Christmas season to really wow the ppl of Waynesboro. Id rate this event 2017 a 3 star. Home truly needs to be more accurate and I know its possible. All donations nice yet lacking in execution. Overall everyone worked hard. Thanx

Extremely dismayed in the new boards decision to cancel the annual Civil War event. It seems counter intuitive to cancel the event due to the amount of financial and logistical support the Civil War community has dedicated to the Farm Museum over the decades..

Love this park! It is always well maintained and has wonderful scenery. I just want to say thank you and God bless you to the folks that own Renfrew Museum and Park. Every summer, at least once a week, they might have a band or two play in the park. It might be Blues, Jazz, Country, etc. You get the point. Thing is, they are all free to attend! Renfrew is AWESOME!! I think Ill give them an extra five stars!!! For Blessing our community!

Renfrew comprises the stone home, old barn which is now part of the museum, farm fields, a German garden, outbuildings, pavilion, picnic areas, play area, woods, a stream, and an expansive trail network. I have not toured the house. The walking trails are pretty nice for an urban location. There are about three miles of trails on the property. They allow dogs with a small ($5) lifetime fee. Dogs are required to be on leash but no one seems to know that. Renfrew Museum (and the associated Institute) offers many options for classes, festivals and concerts. Best outdoor place in Waynesboro.
