Love this park. Walking and singing here is so fun.

A mixed park. Outdated playscapes. Well maintained grounds. Bathrooms locked unless requested to be opened for a group. Attracted latchkey teens and youngsters left to themselves. Intermittent reports of violence in varying degrees. Pavilions often littered with trash following use. The park is large and generally featureless. There is a grove of trees and wide space.

Great park....many walkers use this park...it has shaded areas to keep you cool..the only drawback are that dog walkers sometimes do not pick up their dogs poo...so definitely dont walk on the grass...

Very clean, peaceful and very diverse. I went to Franklin JR High school. Very comfortable and safe place too.

A wooden play scape in desperate need of maintenance and repair. Seeing as there is also a sports complex, you would think the bathrooms would be in functional order. Nice green space and mature trees. Plenty of pavilions for gatherings.

My son and I walk here a few times a week. It has 1 mile labeled off in 1/4 markers. It makes it nice for those of us working our way up and makes goals feel like theyve been accomplished. It seems to be mowed regularly however, it could use some TLC.

They need to add more play scapes, soccer fields (with nets), or like a a few baseball diamonds. More families would visit it I guarantee it!

Great place for fun and close to home

It was such a nice visit. The kids had a great time, since it was raining there was no other kids.

Their workout bars rotate and that makes it more difficult to use them.

Clean Park really nothing there but a walking trail and some benches

The park is nice... The pavilion is good sized for a big party... But the people inside the recreation center are rude... We were having a gathering on their grounds but still consider you the public and refused to let us use the restroom and all the patk restrooms were locked... Smh

We like to stop and have a quick picnic before swimming at hype!

Used to be so much nicer. Now broken fences, broken signs, overgrown weeds and bushes. The list goes on and on. It does however still hold some of the great charm its always had. The pavilion keeps you cool on hot sunny days, and theres so much room. Unlike most other parks, it is not crammed together in a small area. A great place for a day long adventure with the whole family still.

I love going to this park its very nice and quiet and laid back, I love walking around the park and bringing my grandkids for recreation just to pass time away, Very nice picnic area for Family functions I love this Park.

We use the baseball field to let our dog run, its fenced and gated. If you go there, be sure to clean up after your dog(s), so we all can continue to use that space.

Sesverly needs updating. Definitely need to treat for mosquitoes. Cut down some trees, remove and install new wood chips for the children. Otherwise it was ok

Seems like a place where people go to just sit in their vehicles. It is December, so maybe people are reminiscing. Large Park though, and its well maintained. Ample parking for a family reunion. Playscape for the kids to play on.

Nice park with lots of open space to play any kind of game. Super large grills and a huge Pavillion that fits lots of picnic tables. Decent restrooms with flush toilets although there was no toilet paper so make sure to check as you may need to grab a couple of paper towels on your way to the rest room (thats what I did). Huge play structure with tons of stuff for kids, and kids at heart, to do and play on. You could easy spend the entire day here and have a great time!

There has been no upkeep to this park in the last 20 years. Very sad and disappointing.

Me and my younger brother were there and there was human waste on the playscap it is near a middle school and was garbage every where the students had trashed it there is things broken and have wore down if you have older kids and know how not git hurt than it is ok but the atmosphere is great if runing or waking your dog

The park is falling apart lots of broken areas and doesnt seem as safe as it once was the trails and baseball diamonds are great but the park needs some serious work with all the repairs and garbage everywhere

Nice park for a big get together

My kids are starting to get older and I also have younger ones and this park is nice enought to accommodate their different ages! Couple things I dont like is that the bathrooms are NEVER unlocked and my small children have small bladders especially after running around and jumping! I also dont like that filthy mouth teens sit up there as a hangout and cuss around small kids and smoke and just act obnoxious and rude! Totally no regard to the small children that are trying to play! Other than those complaints my kids love it!

The park used to be everything and more .. over the years it’s changed. It’s like no one cares about this place anymore my 4 year old sister came to play yesterday and it’s definitely not like how it was in 2013 when I was in the 7th grade. Everything’s broken. No kids around. It used to be FULL of kids no matter the day/time. Rain or sun. It’s like big kids are playing there now just breaking every little thing they can. It’s sad.

Very nice park with something for everyone. Love the walking path, must watch for bicycles. Not sure bikes are allowed on the walking path. But they are certianly there.Great place for an afternoon strool !

Only take my dog to walk here. Park is very outdated. Play equipment is old and not taking care of. Park is somewhat clean (no trash) lots of piles of dog poo that needs to be picked up.

As far as neighborhood parks go Atwood is average. It offers plenty of walking path and a childrens play area as well as a baseball diamond and two pavillions for pinicing. Not bad but not great.

It used to be fun but now it is all run down and there is graffiti everywhere. A lot of the playground equipment is broken.

Lots of stuff to do.

Not great place to visit...neighbor hood kids running around without supervision.
