Some of the critters are shy so you may not see them every time, but one of my favorite stops in the zoo.
BEST HOUSE IN THE ZOO!!! Forget the pandas, come see the SMH (Small Mammal House)! Wide variety of species and beautiful exhibits. Their staff/keepers are the best in the business. They do meet a mammal twice a day which allows for visitors to get up close and personal with several cute animals out in the public viewing areas. AMAZING FOR KIDS and adults who love/appreciate animals. Its also very close to the B parking lot. They just received 3 new Wallabies (small Kangaroos) in their outside boardwalk exhibit! You can park strollers safely outside the front door (to the right) and spend hours walking around (inside) watching dozens of incredible animals. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Many animals, all cute and large, I even got to see a fox sleeping. I highly recommend this place if you visit the zoo.
Love this zoo but the small mammal house needs a revamp. The exhibits seem too small for some of the critters.
So many adorable furry creatures.
Awesome! The volunteers are so good at the zoo. Very impressed!
Cute ️and some are taking a nap
It was so cool to see all the little animals. We even got to see some endangered mammals.
One of my favorite houses in the zoo!!!!!!! They have the best animals! They have sand cat and cute little foxes and tiny monkeys AND A SLOTH and they always bring out an animal to show the crowd. You dont get to touch the animal but its cool. They brought out the armadillo once and the sloth once!!! Oh and the skunk! Do not come to the zoo without stopping here!
Great views of lots of small animals!
Bunch of cute furry mammals
Lots of small mammals that my kids enjoy looking at and learning about
