Why has the bird house been “under construction” for almost two years now?

The National Zoo is always a favorite of mine and the bird house is pretty cool.

Good but some of the displays were empty

Do not miss out on the central hall of the bird house. It is easy to miss out the ground level door into this huge hall where you can walk around among unabashed peacocks showing off their lush colors.

Pretty good but just slightly below the par of the rest of the zoo

The bird house at the National Zoo is currently preparing for an update - so many of the animals are off-exhibit, and the free-flight area behind the house is closed for renovation. The animals surrounding the bird house are still outside, however.

So fun bringing the family to see all the different birds here.

I dont like it... nothing special. Better let those birds go.
