The Washington Waterfront is a place where you can spend time with the family, walk the dogs, launch your boat.You name it and it is accessible from the Washington Waterfront. There are Restaurants in the area, visitor center near by, souvenir shops all topped off with swinging benches, play grounds and views that are to die for.The Docks face the South West so you and the family can enjoy some the best sun sets views in the area. If you own a boat then youve found a great place to keep it but if you dont, there are plenty of boats for rent in all different shapes and sizes.We visited in June 2020 so Covid restrictions kept some of the businesses from opening however when the state returns to its norm you can expect even more restaurants, a museums and more.All in all the Washington Waterfront Docks is a great place to spend some family time, relaxing walks or just bring the little ones to experience the boating community.Go and see for your self, you wont regret it.

An awesome place for people of all ages. Beautiful water views. Great place to dock your boat. Awesome river walk system for those who are looking to exercise. Restaurants right across the street for your dining pleasure.

I really liked the waterfront area, seems like a lot of improvements are being made, lots of great little shops. You can see the majority of it in about an hour or two. Only con is that there isnt too much surrounding it that would be something I need to bring other people to. I would go and have some dinner, patron the shops, but not rushing back to the area. For what it is, its really nice though.

We cruised up to the waterfront to go to Main Street to see how the streetscape infrastructure was progressing. After taking a walk on Main we returned to the boat to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. A great day in Washington.

I love going to the waterfront especially at sunset!! I love sunsets and this is by far the best place to watch in town. It can be a little busy during the weekends but not too bad.

Very quaint town minus all the construction! Will be much better after that is completed.

Nice walk and view. Has a good breeze sometimesand some sitting benches and swings. Good space to have picnics with nice green grass. Its about a 2ish mile walk down and back.

Peaceful. A place to meet wonderful people and enjoy the gifts of nature. An extra bonus: One can hear the music coming from the bands that play at Ribeyes :)

Had my devotion at the waterfront today. Very peaceful.Listened to David Jeremiah speak about fathers raising girls. What a huge responsibility daddys have to their little girls. So thankful to have 4 granddaughters who adore their dads.

Nice place just to hang out, watch the boats and sail boats. It was not crowded at all and the view of the water is very relaxing. We sat on a bech and drank some lemonade. The board walk is very nice. A lot of turtles were just hanging around the bird walk.

Watching the setting sun and the sailboats is a Washington NC waterfront tradition. Many folks walk the boardwalk to relax and exercise. A mere block away are restaurants and Scoops ice cream shop. The Washington waterfront is a gem!

Waterfront in Washington is beautiful! Would make a great date to walk up and down the boardwalk. Meander into the historic downtown district and see the restaurants, shops, alleyways and houses too. Its great!

Lovely quaint small town very historic with a great waterfront to walk. Family and dog friendly. Boats can pull up to dock. Couple of porch type of swings, plus lots of benches, nice grassy places to just sit and enjoy the boats and river. Several restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream place, live theatre, art galleries, great local shops--all within one block walk of the waterfront.

I have loved this place since I was a kid and I was also part of the company that built the peoples pier so this place will always have a special place in my heart.

I love hanging out on the waterfront while eating a nice picnic lunch.

GREAT street festival in early June for last 35 years.

This is a very pretty place. Ive been here three times; once for a wedding, twice for a walk/photos, and third for 4th of July celebration. There are boats docked. There is a wood walking bridge far down the east end. There is plenty of green space for picnics. This place is also great for a photo session!

Great walkways and a fantastic view. Whenever I come into town I always find myself back down at the waterfront either driving through or taking a stroll, its one of my favorite places in town. Wish there were 6 stars.

Its one of my favorite places. Amazing views, cool breezes. Great boardwalk through the marshy area, gazebos, a playground. Plenty of parking, even some public docks and bathrooms. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Turnage theater.

If youve never been on The Belle of Washington sunset dinner cruise then youve been missing out on a wonderful treat, so close to home. Cruising the waterways helps me to appreciate all that our area has to offer. The solemn peacefulness, the picturesque natural beauty, the down home atmosphere, and the southern charm- definitely all forces to be reckoned with! Get out and enjoy our home!

I enjoy the little Washington Waterfront last night, looking at different s theyhd a band, theyre having a cook-off different venues was there food wise enjoyable atmosphere, I also saw a gentle man with a greyhound beautiful dog l would love to have one too, please adopt our furry friends.Enjoy Smoke on the water front everybody !!!

Stewart Parkway is a wonderful place to take a stroll along the waterfront.

The Estuary, where the fresh water meets the salt water. Very beautiful and spiritual place, beautiful people, youll truly meet God in this place.

The waterfront was nice but the main st. was bad because they were tearing up the roads.
