Its curious that General Lafayette is not at the center of this park that is named after him. This is a lovely statue of Andrew Jackson.

Located just before the White House, this statue is one you cannot miss. While you may be just passing by it, dont forget to take a quick shot of it and remember the man who it was made in honor of. Truly a great landmark that is easily overlooked.
