It is an active railroad tunnel, DO NOT TRESPASS!

You may need additional directions to get there. Look at the satellite view to get a complete understanding on where you are going. First, you drive into a gated lot that seems like maybe not the right place. Go ahead and drive in. Park out of the way and close to the railroad tracks. Walk down the tracks to the left and you’ll see the tunnel. It is a longer distance walking through the tunnel than when you’re walking back. (I’m joking; but, you’ll see what I mean if you walk all the way through and back). We used our iPhone lights and they are not bright enough. A good old flashlight is highly recommended!

Great little place. We went this weekend and it was a nice little walk. Got about halfway through it and felt creeped out so we turned around and went back.

Very eeirie and beautiful, even if you havent heard the haunted tales of the tunnel. We just moved to Washington and live nearby so it was easy to get to. I love these kinds of places and the history behind them. I tried to walk all the way through by myself and made it half way. A must see if youre into historic and/or haunted landmarks.

When my kids and I went to check out the tunnel, some workers were there and told us about the tunnels history and what work they were doing on the interior of the tunnel. We had a good time playing with the idea of it being haunted. The workers said they had not been bothered, having been working in the tunnel for the past month. Story has it that the tunnel is haunted by the 80 some passengers that died in that tunnel years ago when a head on collision btwn 2 trains happened and took their lives.

It was very Spookie I went alone and got freaked out almost to the end . Would go with some one at night ..

Brady s Tunnel is a train tunnel near Washington Park that goes on to property near Interstate 70. Not really a safe place to go into.
