What a beautiful building! The gardens are gorgeous. Very peaceful atmosphere to hangout, walk around, have a coffee, sit down on a bench and read a book... You name it... The landscapes are very well design. It is definitely a must if you are planning to visit Washington D.C.

I was at a fun event. How ever it will be interesting if it ever becomes more than an occasional use space.

The inaugural By the People art exhibit was amazing. Not only was the art beautiful to look at and interactive, but the venue was gorgeous as well. I cant wait for the remodel to finish, so everyone can enjoy the museum again.

Amazing, very unique building inside and out. Lots of interesting tile work, stained glass, and iron railings which fill up the buildings many rooms. I visited during an exhibition, and had heard it was previously closed for a number of years. Unsure when it’s open, but if it is, I highly recommend it.

Beautiful building, great architecturally aesthetic exterior, but the building is currently closed to the public. Some benches, lots of garden plants and a fountain attracts birds and you can take that perfect selfie.

Its just brick but damn its a sexy building. The history is possibly better than the contents but stop by and enjoy its general awesomeness.

Many of the pictures posted for this place are pictures of a different place. This address is the Art and Industries Museum. It has been closed since 2004 for renovations, and there is no sign of any renovations happening. Many of the pictures posted are pictures of other nearby Smithsonian Museums: like the Air and Space Museum, and the Natural History Museum.

BEAUTIFUL ! What an experience, these national treasures are. They are completely out of this world and those curators are something to be respected.

I love this museum, you cannot see it all in a day so take the time to really check out a few exhibits in detail rather than trying to see the whole thing.
