This place is amazing for kids and also adults, there are many activities that you can do depending of what you like and the best part is that everything is free
The center was okay, despite a very bad computer lab. The computers were very slow and only a few would be working decent at one time. Accessing them was a pain also.
I love to workout there. The staff are always personable; Smiling and laughing; Having fun with the community, always. It is just that the ewuipment is outdated. That is the only thing I would change. Update the equipment, guys!
Super friendly customer service, the main staff at the front desk all know me by name and I appreciate that. The childrens programs, especially the early childhood programs, seem strong and well established. Ive only ever come here to use the weights, and Ive become significantly stronger and bigger, given the limited tools to work with. It is a less known gym in DC, so it is usually very easy to get in and out while achieving a full workout- within 45 minutes. They really need to clean the weight room and locker rooms more thoroughly, though. I would volunteer to deep clean it myself if theyd let me. I dropped chalk in the locker room once and the residue was there for the rest of the week, the rollers are used out of order, the majority of the lockers fixtures are busted and/or the lockers stink and have old gym clothes in them - its not cool, our tax dollars pay for the wages paid here, and more stern/attentive management could go a long way. Ive also inquired about donating money to improve the weight room facilities via email but was never replied to. Overall, I like the neighborhood vibe, the friendliness of the staff, and the ease of accessibility to the facilities.
There is a decently equipped fitness center with freeweights, weight machines, cardio machines and other common fitness needs.
There is a Target,bath & beyond, Models,old Navy, Marshalls, Best buy,WSE gym.
I was in that summer camp it is the best camp in my life I want to go there again
This is a wonderful facility with a welcoming vibe. The dance room has a beautiful floor and mirrors for practice. The accoustics for our music were much better than Ive seen at other similar venues.
Best open gym on this side of town!
Nice. I wish they open until 10pm and on Sunday too
Really pretty legit. Decent weight room, basketball court, computer lab, fitness classes. Free for DC residents. I go there regularly and am glad this exists in my community.
Think about this: private businesses (Washington Sports Clubs), nonprofits (YMCA), and government (parks and recreation) all provide gyms. I am a millennial minimalist, a pro government democrat, and community diversity loving socialist; so I will go with the CoHi community center every time. Basketball open gym Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays: free! Weight room: small fee. Community: priceless.
I was here for DC Puppy Bowl 2018, it was pretty well organized and adorable of course.
Coach ted is the best
The basketball court is fun and they run very intense games
Its ok
Fresh ball courts, staff are super professional and friendly, and its always clean.
Nice place to go work out and play basketball
The only things I have done here are voted and used the gym, and both have gone pretty well. The gym is a little small, but it has everything you need as long as no more than 4 people use it at a time
Love the Zumba class in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Good service.
Great for neighborhood kids
Great Center and best keep secret music production facility in DC.
Great place to exercise and for everyone.
Good community center with several spaces for different types of activities.
It was so big and had a lot of space
Went to vote, no lines, quick and easy, never have to show Id
