This is just for the pool area as that is the only part of the Rec Ctr we visit. Incredible indoors pool. I have gone to quite a few indoor pools all over DC, like Rumsey and Wilson Aquatic Ctr for toddler swim lessons, and this is the best one. Water is warmer here, and the splash area and the fountain area for the kids are really fun. It also helps that the pool area somehow feels more open and well lit than some of the others. Also we had a terrific experience with a swim instructor here. The only downside is finding parking nearby on weekends.

Swimming at Barry Farms please my B people come thats our.neighborhood pool its being taken over by W people. That would be cool but they r mean W people. They looked at me like I was intruding. The pool was amazing the water was warm and it was not crowded. Please bring your kids Open Sundays, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.

This is our home pool and it is AMAZING! Plenty for the kids and great for everyday lap swimming! Staff is friendly, lockers clean and the slide....I can’t get enough of it!! Enjoy!

I came here to visit a friend. I found the facility to be spotless and the staff was urban but very helpful.

It has a pool there . A very modern field. It also has a weight room and indoor an outdoor basketball space ... computer lab and many other things that you need to explore . Arjuna Curtis Parker

The staff is always pleasant and the water temperature is just right. Love love this pool.

I love this pool, the lifeguards here are very professional and they take care of everything, from managing the patrons, teaching classes- monitoring the cleanlinessof the decks/water, awesome place for aquatherapy, Aqua spin, etc... I absolutely love my neighborhood pool

Plenty of things to do I love the pool is always clean the lifeguards there are super friendly Ive made long lasting connections and well be going there year-round

This is a wonderful pool (bright, warm, nice zero entryway, water slide, splashing water) and our son is really enjoying his swim lessons! I would have given a 5 star review if the pool had an observation deck or area for parents to sit during their childs swim lessons; as it stands if parents do not have swimming suits (I always wear mine) on they have to crowd around the 2 pool doors to observe their childs swim lessons. They have enough room for an observation area to the right of the pool entry; I would suggest they consider that.

Very little equipment! Anacostia was nice, but if it is a good thing either we as blacks steal it tear it up, or they dont let us keep it for long!!!

The staff is the friendliest Ive encountered in DC pools, the pool seems enough for the amount of people it gets at least early in the morning. There are only three lanes but its not too crowded. The water is way warm though

The workers are friendly, the pool is new and well-kept, and the swimmers are respectful of others. Lots of kids. Has three dedicated lap lanes that are never crowded.

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly!! I take my son for swimming lessons and we both love it. The place is clean and spacious, I only wish they had a bit more seating in the womens changing room.

Legendary place--I enjoy all the games. I like the fact that they have young teams as well the men teams. I feel very sage when Im there. Great time in the gates.

Had a WONDERFUL time today with everyone who came out for the MLK and JUNKYARD Celebration.

My family & I really enjoy the renovations. DPR really thought about the whole family experience. They have a slide, fountain, splash buckets. A waiting area were you can just float on a log, or play basketball ball with a hoop & all. Plenty of lanes for the expert swimmers. Also swallow/deep end for just for casual swimmers. The staff is friendly, and the area is pretty quiet not rachet, ghetto, or dangerous.

The building is lovely but the staff is ghetto and the kids are terrible!!!! Right facility, wrong neighborhood.

They use it for community events for the people. They have many events there. I just hope the people learn to appreciate it and take pride in it.

I just love the new Barry Farm Recreation Centers Pool! its warm,4+ lanes are open, The life guards are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! The kiddy area is fun (basket ball, slide, floaties etc.) The shower/bathroom is clean but the changing area is a bit cozy. There are plenty of learn to swim classes for Seniors/Adults and Children; plus plenty of exercise classes to enroll in! Come swim with me and get to know some folks in your community! Commissioner Diop 8D!
